    Truly a hidden gem

My fiancé’s family is from Joliet, lived there their whole life & a lot of them had no idea that this museum was here! Jennifer is such a beautiful person inside and out & made my wedding planning so easy. She was always quick to answer my questions whether it was the middle of the night or on a weekend. The museum has so many versatile spaces to use for all sorts of occasions. My MIL said she’ll definitely be using it in the future for even smaller parties like baby showers and such!

    Joliet Area Historical Museum's reply:

Thank you Alexis! It was such a pleasure to work with you and your MIL. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!

    Perfect Venue

JHM was the absolute perfect venue for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding celebration! The vibe is fun and interesting- from the minute you enter the lobby. Our guests appreciated being able to browse the museum at any point during the event. We absolutely loved being on the rooftop- it is amazing! And it actually poured rain at one point in the evening and we basically didn't even notice. Jennifer is amazing! She is flexible and helpful and so wonderful to work with. I cannot say enough good things about our experience and our family and friends' forever incredible memories thanks to JHM and Jennifer and her staff.
