Part of the Downtown Lemont Historic District, 223 Main boasts a storied origin. Originally built in the 1900s, it was renovated and opened to the public in January of 2021 with an open floor plan. The beautiful stonework of its exterior pays homage to its historic purpose, while the contemporary style of its interior brings it into the modern day. Both your ceremony and reception can take place at 223 Main as the property features an outdoor side lot. This beautiful lawn is surrounded by towering trees and manicured greenery, creating an ideal backdrop for a small and intimate ceremony. It can also serve as a lovely location for a cocktail reception, with the adjacent sidewalk available to set up high tables. Your reception can take place in the 1500 square foot hall, which features generous windows that bathe the space in natural light. It also offers street views of the charming district, adding to the atmosphere of your occasion. The building’s high ceilings give a distinctly modern-meets-palatial feel to the space. You can arrange for up to 100 guests. There is a kitchen prep area that features a refrigerator, prep tables, and a triple basin sink.

Upgraded cross-back wooden chairs and tables are included in your rental. There are also a number of extra rentals available at the property, such as platters and serving trays, white linens, china, moveable bars, DJ lighting, equipment, etc. To add some extra charm to your celebration, a vintage-style popcorn machine can also be leased from the property.
