Ethereal Confections is more than just a chocolate company. We’re a chocolate shop, cafe, speakeasy and event space, all rolled into one, located in Woodstock, IL–where Groundhog Day was filmed. At Ethereal, we know just what you’re looking for in a wedding venue, and our staff is dedicated to making your special day perfect. No surprises, no headaches. You just focus on having fun and creating memories, and we’ll do the rest.

We now have two location offerings! Our loft space, located above our cafe, and our new location the Courthouse Square, located on the second floor of the historic Woodstock Old Courthouse Center - right across the street from the cafe. With each location each guest receives a craft chocolate truffle favors, which will impress even the pickiest of aunts.

The Loft at Ethereal is our original venue with exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and large windows overlooking the beautiful and historic Woodstock Square. Your guests will be greeted with the aroma of our own homemade chocolate as soon as they walk in. With an ideal capacity of up to 70 guests, it is perfect for an intimate night with friends and family.

Courthouse Square is perfect for that 75-125 person guest count (150 max at straight tables) and is a show stopper with it’s historic architecture and modern finishes. With amenities such as a large wedding suite with tons of natural light and a separate ceremony room option, the space has been renovated with you in mind.
