The Highland Park Community House is an elegant wedding venue located in the heart of Highland Park, Illinois' vibrant and well-known downtown district. This warm and inviting venue is a beautifully renovated historic landmark that evokes the glamour of the past with its art deco fixtures, vaulted ceilings, and gorgeous hardwood floors. With stunning indoor and outdoor space, this venue can be converted into many configurations to graciously accommodate smaller events and weddings, as well as large-scale events. One of the unique aspects of our special venue is you can bring in any vendor, caterer, food, beverage, or decor of your choosing, making it affordable on all budgets to create the wedding of your dreams.
Facilities and Capacity
The Highland Park Community House has an elegant Ballroom that can accommodate 200 seated guests with a dance floor and 300 people for a stand-up/cocktail reception.
Our cozy Living Room, adjacent to our elegant ballroom, can seat up to 100 guests for a more intimate event. When combined with the foyer, 200 guests can be accommodated for a standing reception. It is a fantastic space for cocktails/appetizers.
The Jesse Lowe Smith Heritage Garden is a vibrant and lush outdoor setting that is perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony or additional event space, giving your guests plenty of room to stroll and enjoy all of our grounds.
