This historic landmark is a treasure of Chicago’s North Shore. Built in 1907 by architect George W. Maher, this one story club house is unique with its Frank Lloyd Wright- inspired prairie style feel. This gem features beautiful hardwood floors, wood burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings, original lotus flower stained glass windows, bridal suite and has one of the only executive kitchens on the North Shore. The lush West Lawn is available as well for ceremonies or to stroll around during cocktails. The Kenilworth Assembly Hall is truly a one of a kind venue for your celebration!

Nothing short of perfect
We would recommend Kenilworth Assembly Hall to anyone looking for a wedding reception venue. Michelle was an absolute pleasure to work with - even from the first email responding to our inquiry she had tons of information for us to look over. She is very organized and full of ideas which definitely helps make the planning process easier!
For potential wedding pictures - the surrounding area is nothing short of beautiful. There is a lovely fountain out front and a park with benches that are perfect for pictures. There is also the Kenilworth Metra Station for any guests wanting to come by train and has a wonderful sign for more pictures. Kenilworth beach is only about a 10 minute walk as well.
For the venue - we had around 100 guests and were still able to have plenty of space for a cocktail area with high tops and a dance floor. We selected the Dignified liquor package and everyone was pleased with the selection. In addition, Michelle knew the person that we were working with at the catering company by name which shows how vested she is in providing a wonderful experience. She coordinated with the caterer and everything was seamless so that we had nothing to do on the day of the reception and we could just take everything in and enjoy!
