We used SBR for our wedding and we cannot recommend them more! We mostly worked with Lauren but she went on maternity leave a couple weeks before the wedding, which made me a little scared but Sara organized everything extremely well. She was super responsive and helpful. On the day itself we had Sue as our coordinator and she was fantastic. Big shout-out to Sue!! The food was delicious and all of our guests were raving about it. The service was incredible. Overall highly recommend SBR!!

My wedding was just a few weeks ago and I could not be any happier with the caterer we chose! My husband and I really wanted a casual menu when it came to the food that would be served at our wedding. We kept searching for that specific caterer that had the best of all the foods we love! Sweet Baby Rays was on a referral sheet from our venue. After reviewing the menu, we worked with Lauren M. We had several food stations that our guests absolutely LOVED! 10/10 amazing - detail oriented, flexible, great response time!! We loved working with her and Sweet Baby Rays. We can’t wait to work with them again!!

We had such a great experience working with the SBR catering team to cater our wedding! My husband and I wanted something more unique than the traditional wedding food, but for it to still feel upscale, well presented, and thought out. SBR team delivered on that and more! 

What made them Great:Throughout the process of planning a meal tailored to us, and choosing table decor, SBR was conscious of our budget, never pressuring us with upsells and truly wanting to deliver on our vision while keeping us financially comfortable. 

Creative thinking! Catering a large meal during covid times required some out of the box thinking. The team provided a few options on how to make our guests feel safe without losing the elegant dinner party vibe we were going for. The serving style they suggested and communicated to their staff was even more seamless than what we originally planned. 

Lastly, and most importantly, the food!! We had countless people come up to us saying it was the most delicious and unique food they've had at a wedding. The service team was also incredible with offering our guests second servings (or thirds!).

We absolutely would refer SBR catering to anyone planning a large scale event and look forward to working with them again in the future!

If you’re considering SBR for your catering for your wedding, hire them! We were directed to their team by our venue, and were looking for a more casual meal for our wedding. Our tasting was great, the prices were reasonable, and the food was oh so yummy. They were able to accommodate the menu to meet all our needs, and made us feel so comfortable in our choice. When Covid hit, we didn’t know what or how to go about planning for a completely different wedding than we had originally planned. SBR and their whole team really stepped up, being so flexible, and making about a million changes to our plan in a short time span. They really worked hard to make sure that we had a meal that was to die for, in a safe and responsible way. So many guests said the food was the best wedding food ever, and I definitely agree. Every server, bartender, and coordinator we worked with was incredible. Special shout out to Mike, who worked so much magic for us - and made the last couple months of wedding

I am so glad we choose SBR/True Cuisine as our full service caterer. From our first meeting with our coordinator to the day of our wedding we were confident that our guests were going to love our food and decorations! We received nothing but positive comments about the food and the ambience that they caterer provided.

We felt that finding a great caterer is one of the most important things to make our guests happy. We wanted the food to taste great and the service to be seamless, and of course for a reasonable price, and this caterer was a great choice, they exceeded all our expectations and created an unforgettable experience.

They were easy to communicate with, their Business Development Manager Klar Washkowiak helped us tailor the proposal to meet all of our needs and requests, answered all our questions in details so we had a full picture of how everything is going to be. Sweet Baby Ray’s have a wide variety of dinner options and meals, we ended up choosing “I do” barbecue package.

The food quality deserves a special mention, it was fantastic, hors d'oeuvres and different barbecue options and desserts, we wish we had more time for eating! We had a couple of vegetarians among our guests and in our menu we included jack fruit bbq option. It was a blast, many people were amazed by the creativity and flavor of this dish, and kept getting more and more. Everyone was so full and happy in the end of the evening! And our guests still keep bringing up how everything was delicious!

We decided to do buffet style but the service was so fantastic, we were just blown away. It felt like a sit-down dinner, the staff did an amazing job and took care of each and every guest, they were so nice and friendly, everyone fell in love with them. Sweet Baby Ray’s took care of every little detail and created an unforgettable reception dinner experience, all we had to do is just reach out.

The team at Sweet Baby Ray’s did an incredible job. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and Lauren was extremely patient and responsive with my (many) questions. Even when we had to add/change things, she totally set me at ease and was very accommodating. People were so happy to have BBQ at our wedding and they did a flawless job with all the details and coordinating. Highly recommended!

I could not more highly recommend this catering service or Mallory, their Catering and Event Consultant! The food was excellent and the presentation was beautiful. There was not a person at the reception who did not rave about the food. They also supplied the bartenders and servers, who were just top notch as well! You are invited to a tasting prior to the event to decide on your menu. You sit and see what your table scape will look like. There are no suprises and you have full control and help up to the end! It is a wonderful experience!

Sue and Sweet Baby Ray's was the perfect combination for our wedding dinner. We continue to hear rave reviews about the combination of the great BBQ (pulled chicken and of course pork) and the Green Chili Mac, complimented with your excellent Corn Bread. Sweet Baby Ray's is easy to work with for the perfect menu; excellent attention to detail and Sue brought with her a young lady that was perfect when serving our guests. We highly recommend Sweet Baby Rays for not only catering but a great place to have wonderful food any day of the week. Mr. & Mrs. Q.
