The BRIX on the Fox is an industrial, rustic-style wedding venue in Carpentersville, Illinois. This historic building, built in the late 1800s, was restored in 2018 and provides couples with a blank canvas to plan, decorate, and bring their wedding dreams to life. The BRIX offers something for everyone: an open floor plan that can be completely customized, a rustic, semi-industrial outer shell that can suit any wedding theme, and all-in-one venue packages that make your budget planning so much simpler. Facilities and Capacity
The BRIX on the Fox represents two venues. The Two-Sixty provides ample room for up to 320 guests, and the Industria for up to 200 guests. Both venues overlook the graceful Fox River. The Two-Sixty and The Industria are separate event venues. Each venue is divided into your main reception and bar area, prep kitchen, bridal suite, restrooms, and coat check. Its 19th-century restored architecture provides a beautiful backdrop for any style of wedding decor, and its completely open floor plan allows you to create your own layout, seating arrangements, and space that tailors to your wedding precisely. Some let the brick walls and custom reclaimed barnwood tables speak for themselves, while others choose more elaborate approaches. The decor and layout style is up to you.
Services Offered
The BRIX is available for 12 hours. We provide a one-price approach, with price depending on the day of the week. Our approach allows you to choose your own caterer and bar service, as well as any other vendor you wish to include. We don’t require you to select from a preferred vendor list, encouraging you to make your wedding your own without all the red tape and add-on venue services. The all-inclusive BRIX package includes:
- Exclusive use on the day of your wedding.
- Custom wood tables and Tolix chairs.
- Ceremony area and curtain system for the ceremony.
- Large bar with BYO alcohol - it will cost you about $20 per person and takes only two phone calls.
- Bridal suite with private bathroom
- World-class sound system - your DJ just plugs in and is ready to go!
- Downlights and DJ lights
- Photo booth!
- Large catering area so your guests get served quickly

Outstanding experience with the BRIX!
Ample parking, no downtown traffic jams…Rob and Team cover every detail!
Open vendor options, I had no issues with any vendors and highly recommend: 11th hour bartending, drapery by SNP and mortar design for China rental. Service was provided by Twin2Me me and catering by Francesca’s in Barrington.
A wedding for 220, never felt crowded; we reserved the evening prior, which assisted with DIY decor and rehearsal. A huge plus!
The entire team at the BRIX was amazing, professional, pleasant to work with.
So many compliments on the venue!
The ceremony space was converted from ceremony to appetizer hour in minutes. The Photo Booth was tons of fun, guests loved! The sound system amazing and after dinner lighting a lovely touch!
A nice inclusion is an ice machine!
Rob, my only suggestion would be the purchase of a food warmer in the chef prep kitchen space:)

The BRIX Wedding Venue
Just book it.
I will admit, for a moment in time i became nervous about finances and that most everything with the BRIX is “a la carte” so to speak, but hearing other people who are planning a wedding talk about how they love the venue, but hate the food, or have limitations on their bar, etc, let me know i made the absolute right decision. I would get married at the BRIX again in a heartbeat and have received SO MANY compliments on how upscale and gorgeous the venue was. I was in awe when i walked in the two-sixty when it wasn’t even decorated and our guests were absolutely taken back when the reception curtain opened.
