Two of our daughters weddings in 16 weeks…our most recent event was at the BRIX on Nov 7th!
Outstanding experience with the BRIX!
Ample parking, no downtown traffic jams…Rob and Team cover every detail!
Open vendor options, I had no issues with any vendors and highly recommend: 11th hour bartending, drapery by SNP and mortar design for China rental. Service was provided by Twin2Me me and catering by Francesca’s in Barrington.
A wedding for 220, never felt crowded; we reserved the evening prior, which assisted with DIY decor and rehearsal. A huge plus!
The entire team at the BRIX was amazing, professional, pleasant to work with.
So many compliments on the venue!
The ceremony space was converted from ceremony to appetizer hour in minutes. The Photo Booth was tons of fun, guests loved! The sound system amazing and after dinner lighting a lovely touch!
A nice inclusion is an ice machine!
Rob, my only suggestion would be the purchase of a food warmer in the chef prep kitchen space:)

My (now) husband and i, along with our 220 guests could NOT speak more highly of the BRIX. From the moment we walked in for our tour, we KNEW this was our venue. The staff was so warm and welcoming and they truly made it feel like i was dealing with a family member. Fast responses, multiple on multiple guides for you, lists of preferred vendors, the list goes ON.
I will admit, for a moment in time i became nervous about finances and that most everything with the BRIX is “a la carte” so to speak, but hearing other people who are planning a wedding talk about how they love the venue, but hate the food, or have limitations on their bar, etc, let me know i made the absolute right decision. I would get married at the BRIX again in a heartbeat and have received SO MANY compliments on how upscale and gorgeous the venue was. I was in awe when i walked in the two-sixty when it wasn’t even decorated and our guests were absolutely taken back when the reception curtain opened.
Stop reading and set up your tour now, pick your date, BOOK IT. You do not want to let this venue slip between your fingers! -

We are so thrilled with our experience at the Brix! The whole Brix team is so knowledgeable about the wedding industry and planning process. Most of our vendors were recommended by the Brix and we are so glad we went with all of them! We were nervous about not having a wedding planner or day or coordinator but the Brix staff made the entire day go so smoothly! The venue is also so beautiful by itself and doesn’t require a ton of extra decor which made setup/cleanup super easy! We 10/10 recommend! -

I honestly cannot recommend the Brix enough. The venue is absolutely gorgeous which you can see upon your first visit, but the Brix stands out beyond the beauty. The entire team is communicative and provides excellent advice as you plan for the big day. As for day of coordination, I was blown away at the assistance they provided at every turn. They made sure we knew who to turn to with questions prior to the wedding started. They jumped in at every turn to make sure any hiccups were avoided and we could enjoy the entire wedding day. Seriously, book with the Brix, you won’t regret it! -

The Brix on the Fox is an amazing venue. First and foremost it’s a family run business. Rob, Tone & Robbie will help ensure anything the venue can provide is taken care of. A real carte blanche, you’re able to dress up the venue as you see fit. Plenty of large wood tables will help you comfortably fit 200+ for dinner. They have a great set up to change over the room and a built in audio system for the DJ of your choice. The venue also has photo-booth and after your wedding you’ll get a drive folder with digital copies of every picture taken that night. We had an absolute blast! We highly recommend The Brix on the Fox! -

We got married at the Brix on the Industria side and what a gorgeous venue this is! We were planning everything from out of state and in the middle of the pandemic so we were being extra careful with the vendor selection, but they were perfect! The venue is elevated and spacious with an intimate feeling and the team! We loved that they are so transparent about everything, excellent communication, and they give the freedom and time to make decisions about other vendors unlike other venues we had contacted. They also provide a list of highly recommended vendors which made remote planning so much easier - we ended up finding most of our vendors from it.
Overall, we cannot recommend it enough. The Brix provides a beautiful blank canvas for you to do as much or as little personalization as you want for your special day, and it will turn out perfect. Everyone we talked to about getting married there only had good things to say about the place, and so do we.
Also, a huge plus: the photobooth was such a hit! The guests loved it and we received the digital photos the day immediately after the wedding. The photos were of such high quality and it was a great way to appreciate the wedding day a bit longer. -

Look no further for an amazing venue! The Brix is not only beautiful, but the whole team is there to make sure your day is amazing. They helped us nail down our floor plan, gave us amazing vendors (that did not disappoint) to hire, and did I mention the venue is beautiful? There was a wedding the night before ours and you would have never guessed there was a giant party right before us. The venue is so clean and easy access as it’s not too far from the expressway. 10/10 recommend. -

The BRIX is the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding day. We fell in love instantly. It is truly unbelievably beautiful!!! Everyone at the wedding was in shock at how stunning the space was. Rob and the entire family genuinely wanted to help us every step of the way during wedding plan. They create a list of favorite vendors to make it easy for first time planners, like us, and gave us so many tips to help us save money on decor. After talking to friends going through the same process, that is very rare. We cannot say enough good things about this beautiful venue and kind family. There are no hidden loop holes nor hidden fees, everything is laid out for you and very simple. -

We had our wedding at the Brix this past June and we could not say enough amazing things about the venue and the support we received. Rob and Tone truly helped our dream wedding come together, especially through all of the heartaches we had to go through planning around COVID. In the end, they gave us all the support we needed, were always very fast to respond, and had endless contacts and recommendations to make sure our day turned out exactly the way we envisioned. They even reached out to vendors for us when we were panicking about whether or not certain things would work out. They went above and beyond for us as their clients, and when the day finally came, it was so nice to have them there and involved to make sure everything went smoothly. You will not find a better venue this beautiful and unique, nor will you find support like this anywhere else. We originally backed out of another venue in the very beginning and were willing to take the loss because the Brix was so amazing. The customization options are what really made the day unique to us as a couple. We are so grateful for this family-run business and everything the entire family has done for us. We got married at the Industria at the Brix on the Fox and we couldn't love this venue more! We fell in love with the brick walls and large windows; and it was everything we could have hoped for! We needed a venue that let us bring in our own caterer; we had always known we wanted to do Wood Oven Pizzas so we needed to find somewhere that allowed that. Rob & Tone were amazing to work with; extremely responsive, so accommodating in terms of Covid and re-scheduling. We worked with Robbie on the day-of the wedding and cannot say enough amazing things about him. He was efficient and so helpful and on top of everything. We absolutely loved this venue. -

We had the absolute best experience at The BRIX with Rob, Tone, Robbie, and JiHee. We booked this venue about a year and a half before our wedding date. As soon as we booked, Rob and Tone provided us with many different resources and vendors in the area to help with the wedding planning process, which was a huge time saver for us (especially because I am not a planner)! It was great knowing that we had chosen reliable vendors who had previous experience at The BRIX. We chose the Industria room, which was the perfect size for our guests. I was a little nervous about the dance floor being in a different space than the reception tables (mainly for the first dances), but it worked out beautifully, just as I was told that it would! I do not have a single complaint about the venue. I saw that some people mentioned the music being too loud, but we did not have that experience at all. I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a stress free planning process and stress free wedding day! I am so happy we got married here! -

Moved my wedding to The Brix due to covid and they made the switch so easy! They shared an entire list of amazing recommended vendors that they have personally worked with and have a great relationship with. They were so helpful and flexible and had so many things that were included in the venue including a photobooth station, an amazing sound and light system, and gorgeous rustic tables and chairs. They ended up being better than my original venue and I'm so glad that we ended up having to switch! -

At first I was worried I was in over my head for picking a bring your own vendor venue. But in the end - it was the best decision ever. All throughout the night people came up to me complementing how gorgeous the venue was. Its not your typical banquet hall - and I LOVED IT. I love exposed brick haha. Covid might have put us through a very annoying roller coaster - but Rob, Tone, & Robbie positive attitudes really helped out. We were able to come to a middle to make everyone happy isnsuch an unprecedented time. We may have not gotten our August wedding in Chicago - but the Feb wedding was amazing. I wish I could go back and get married again and again. Thank you Rob and Tone for helping us have the most gorgeous and perfect wedding!!! -

Rob and Tone were amazing to work with. As soon as the pandemic hit in the middle of our planning, they were quick to help find solutions for us in rescheduling and planning around a smaller guest count than originally planned. All our guests loved the venue and thought it was beautiful! With our 50-person guest count, everyone felt comfortable in such a large space. We couldn't have asked for anyone more patient than Rob and Tone. They even helped load the cars at the end of the night! They are the absolute best and we are so thankful to have had The BRIX for our special night! -

An incredible experience
Choosing the BRIX was easily one of the best decision we could have made in planning our wedding! I honestly cannot say enough good things about the BRIX or the staff. The venue is gorgeous and the location couldn't get much better! Having the sunset over the river made for some incredibly beautiful pictures. The sound system is perfect for people who want to have a good time dancing but still want their guests to be able to hear one another talking if they're not out on the dance floor. The photobooth was super cute and we loved being able to have a copy of all of the pictures our guests took! The BYOB concept was definitely the cheapest route for us, especially because we knew not all of our guests would drink. Rob, Tone, and Robbie were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to help us plan our event. When everything seemed to be getting ruined due to COVID, they were ready and more than willing to help us make our dream day still be possible. I would recommend the BRIX to anyone and everyone - especially anyone who is looking for a beautiful venue, staff who go above and beyond, an amazing sound system, and a picture-perfect wedding. -

Best Venue In The Midwest!
THE BRIX IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST VENUE IN THE MIDWEST... Maybe in USA.. In my opinion world! :) We started our venue search over two years ago and The Brix was the first venue we saw. It was love at first sight for my HUSBAND and I. We have had such a wonderful experience with Rob, Tone, and their entire family. Not only is the venue perfect in every way, but the people running it are even more amazing. They have poured their heart and soul into the space and it shows. It gives you the gorgeous chicago industrial boho charm you’d find in the city, in a location with endless parking and hotels for guest. They are always responsive, flexible with the ever changing Pandemic rules, organized, and will help you pull off a memorable wedding! They really think of everything. They gave us a list of preferred vendors after booking, we used almost 90% of them and our day in our eyes was flawless because of all involved. It was a huge help! We pulled off a “mini wedding” there this August 2020 amongst the pandemic and quiet honestly it exceeded our hopes and dreams. Yes we had to get creative, be patient, and it was at times stressful, but the people at The Brix will help you through and make a memorable wedding day for you without a doubt. If you have seen photos or are interested please set up a time to view the space, you will fall in love like we did. Its crazy times during COVID wedding planning but IT IS POSSIBLE and will be amazing. All our family and friends who attended tell us constantly how beautiful and wonderful our day was. We cant wait to share the memories, stories, photos, and video for the rest of our lives with those who were there and those who celebrated afar. Rob and Tone thanks for creating the most dreamy space to start our chapter as husband and wife. We are forever thankful for your help through this process. -

The Brix on the Fox was the perfect wedding venue for our wedding. I came across The Brix on The Knot in September 2019 when the venue was just about to open. Finding a warehouse venue with enough space to house a 300+ wedding in one room is nearly impossible outside of the city of Chicago. I fell in love with the pictures and the huge open space and knew I wanted to have our wedding there. We scheduled an appointment with Rob and Tone and had a walk through of the venue while the bar was being completed. Even with all the construction we felt completely at ease with how the final product would look through talking with Rob and Tone. They are very knowledgeable and have a real passion for the venue and type of experience they want their couples to have - Your Life Your Style. No truer words could be spoken! We had the luxury of bringing in our own caterer, design team, florist, bartender, you name it! Typically venues have a strict list of preferred vendors that restricts your choices and limits your ability to reduce costs. Not the case at the Brix. Leading up to the wedding we heard from Rob, Tone and their son almost weekly to make sure we were on track with vendors and timeline. They provided us with an easy to use questionnaire that gave them our timeline, vendor information and any other pertinent information. On the day of the wedding Rob and Tone went above and beyond. They both were there when our cocktail hour began and stayed until we had cleared out at the end of the night. Rob helped to unlock our envelope box that had filled up quicker than expected, they cleaned up wine that spilled on the dance floor, handled questions from vendors, and helped us clear out at the end of the night. They made our wedding reception go smoothly so that me and my husband could enjoy our night. I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was. Choosing to have our wedding reception at the Brix was the best decision we made. It is a gorgeous venue with truly wonderful owners who made our wedding day the best day of our lives. -

I wish I could give this so much more than 5 stars. The Brix was a DREAM. I got married here in January 2020 in the Industria and I can’t say enough good things about how great our experience was. Rob and Tone were so great to work with. They answered all of our questions and gave us a couple of tours of the venue as the construction on the space progressed. They eased our nerves about booking a space before it was done and the finished space blew us away. One of the things we loved about them was that there were no hidden fees or upgrades we had to account for. Everything is upfront and there isn’t anything snuck in.
The space is beautiful. Everything from the exposed bricks, the tables, the chairs, the bridal suite, and more was beyond our expectations.The Brix is so beautiful on its own it doesn't need much decorations to be a stunning wedding. The Industria specifically has beautiful architectural components that we loved. The huge arch is stunning.
Being at the Brix was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend using them. They took so much stress off of my husband and I as we approached our wedding day. We never once worried about the quality of what we were going to get or if things would work out. It was one of the best decisions we made.

I first found The Brix on instagram a few months before I even got engaged; it was just being built and only had a few images to show the beauty of it. Fast forward a few months later and the only venue I wanted to look at or even looked at was The Brix - I brought both of our families and everyone fell in love with it - we put the hold on it that next day!
The owners, Rob and Tone, have become friends more than a wedding vendor, and blew our expectations out of the water. They have a venue that can be morphed into any brides dream and looks like a different venue depending on the wedding aesthetic. We ended up using a vendor they suggested from almost every category and we're not once disappointed with our choice. They were professional every step of the way but also treated your wedding as their own; they made sure every element of your day was perfect and that you had a good time.
The Brix is perfect for ANY event you hold and you will not be disappointed if you choose this venue for your big day. They are THE BEST in the Midwest. -

My fiance, myself and our wedding planner walked into the Brix (the 260) and after just a few minutes I turned to our planner and said "do I have to go more places?!"
I just knew with all the brick, the exposed ceiling, the wood tables and black chairs that they provide to their couples was just perfect. Tone and Rob have really thought this venue through. They realized there was this type of venue missing from the suburbs of Chicago, and the fact that they have almost every weekend booked shows that we as couples thought so too!
Everyone that came to our wedding said "best wedding ever" and I know it was because of the beauty of the venue and just how smoothly the day ran. We had a planner so we didn't need to directly work with Rob and Tone many times, but when we did they were so organized, wanted to make sure they had all the details and vendors down so they could make sure the building was open, and they provided so many opportunities for couples to come and learn about the process at the Brix and how special it is. We did go with one of their recommended caterers (True Cuisine) and that was a priceless choice. The fact that they are one of their primary vendors so they know the space so well, know how to flip the rooms (great system!) and get everyone through a buffet in the shortest time I've ever seen! I know this truly made for a smooth night. They also had a great relationship with a nearby hotel with a shuttle service and it was great for the day of and other events we had going.
All in all this was the perfect venue, and everyone made sure our day ran as smooth as possible! We thank you for all you did and all the team members we got to meet because of them! -

The Gorman's made us feel excited for our wedding and well taken care of. They were so flexible with access to the venue for the day of the wedding, and stayed during the entire event. Even something as small as letting us use leftover candles to decorate the bar was so nice and thoughtful. -

Beautiful Venue!
The Brix is amazing and so beautiful!
My husband and I got married at The Brix in October and when we first saw the venue, in August of 2018, the floors had just been done. At that time, we didn't even need the venue to be completed yet to know that this is where we wanted to get married. The exposed brick has the rustic, industrial feel and it being on the Fox River puts the icing on the cake of making the venue even more perfect! We were and still are obsessed with the place.
Beyond the beauty of the venue, Tone and Rob are so great to work with and are so sweet. After signing your contract they provide a checklist to you through email which provides suggested vendors. This really helped because we had no idea where to start when it came to vendors. We knew what kind of theme and food we wanted, we just didn't know where to start in finding them! Besides that, Rob and Tone are literally there with you throughout the way which was greatly appreciated. If you have a question, they're there to answer your email within a few hours or less of you emailing them. They definitely helped make the process smoother for us and helped us stay calm.
We only dream that someone we know will have a wedding there so we can go back and enjoy the space some more. The Brix is a beyond perfect! -

Spectacular!
Wow! I don't even know where to start.
From the moment we stepped into The Brix, we knew this was it. The venue is stunning. We didn't have to decorate much because it's beautiful on it's own. Rob and Tone were a dream to work with. The first time we met them, it was clear that they were going to make everything as easy as possible. They're incredibly kind and they really are there for you every single step of the way.
- The venue allows you to hire any vendors of your choice (which is a HUGE plus).
- The bar is awesome and makes for an easy set up.
- The kitchen is huge and has everything that any caterer would need.
- The transition from ceremony to reception was SO fast and seamless.
- Their tables are stunning. One of my biggest things when looking at venues was that I did not want linens and circle tables. The Brix provides beautiful, wooden handmade tables.
- There are multiple hotels about 5 minutes away. Once of which provides a shuttle to and from the venue.
All of our vendors loved The Brix as much as we did and all said they hope to work there again!
We looked at 20+ venues in the Chicagoland area. Nothing compares to The Brix. The uniqueness, the price, the flexibility, the freedom of vendor choices, the owners - I can't recommend it enough.

This venue is beyond amazing and made my wedding dreams come true from the start! It has a great atmosphere with touches of rustic, touches of modern, touches of elegant and they all blend so well together to fit everyones styles! We booked with them just after the floors were poured and only the original walls were up; no bathroom no bar no bridal suite no kitchen were yet constructed. But Rob and Tone were so descriptive and confident in what the venue was going to be that i took full trust in them to give the venue the full potential it had to be an amazing venue and they did that and more! They are so great to work with and were there any time i had a crazy question or any of the thousands of times i asked to drive up there just to see the venue as it was getting finished or to show another person the amazing venue we were going to get married at. 100% highly recommend this amazing beyond beautiful unique venue to anyone looking for a place giving you freedom to make your wedding dreams come true!! -

When we first went to see The Brix I fell in love with the building and all of the character. We needed minimal decorations because it spoke for itself and we did not want to over shadow the beauty of the building. As we began planning all the aspects of the wedding, I got to see how incredible Rob and Tone were in addition to their venue. They were so helpful every step of the way, always trying to make everything easier on us. They were more than willing to help accommodate our needs and requests and were so quick to respond to emails/calls. We never waited more than an hour (even at night) to hear back from them. The day of our wedding Rob and Tone were out of town so their son Robby took over and he was also so wonderful! I absolutely love this venue and would recommend it to anyone looking for unique spot for their wedding! -

It was an absolute joy to work with Rob Tone. You can tell they give their all to helping couples have the best experience possible. When we needed to change the date of our wedding unexpectedly due to my father’s health, The BRIX on the Fox was willing to work with us. The venue is gorgeous and does not need much more in terms of decorating. With the flexibility to bring in your own vendors-this is great! In many ways you can save money (alcohol) but you do have other expenses that can get costly (renting tableware)-we opted on using nice disposable items, still looked and was amazing. The owners offered Brix Talks, which helps couples answer questions about the space and gives suggestions of vendors to use-DJ, bartending. Overall, the experience was amazing. Highly recommended. -

As wedding photographers ourselves, finding a venue that fit our personalities and vision was really important to us. When we came across The Brix online, we knew we had found something really cool. When we saw the venue for the first time, it was still being finished and, even then, it was beautiful and we could tell by hearing their vision for the space that it was going to be incredible. Our family and guests raved about how beautiful everything was and that they had never been to a wedding space like it. Aside from the gorgeous venue space, Rob and Tone are two of the coolest people we have met in the wedding industry. They care so much about their couples and the other vendors there for the day. Tone is seriously the sweetest and was such a big help and calming presence the day of. Rob was always so quick to respond to absolutely any question we had throughout the entire process, and was always very thorough in his responses. We couldn't have imagined a better team to help make our day happen. Words can't explain our gratitude towards Rob and Tone. Would highly, highly recommend The Brix to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful venue with staff who cares about the couples, families, and guests. -

From the moment I saw The Brix I knew I had to have my wedding there. The space is beautiful with it's natural lighting and industrial charm. My guests were quite complimentary of it's beauty and uniqueness. The building itself provides lots of nice photo backdrops, and the river and surrounding areas are great as well!
Rob and Tone were SOOO helpful and accommodating, I felt like they were personally invested in making our wedding day perfect. They were always easy to communicate with and were extremely flexible with letting us stop by the venue for various reasons during the planning phase.
Have your wedding at the Brix! You will be glad you did. -

It has been a month since our wedding and we are still constantly getting compliments from family and friends about how gorgeous our venue was! The Brix truly is a beautiful blank slate that every couple can put their own spin on. I really loved that The Brix allowed us to choose our own vendors and also appreciated that they suggested some of their favorites that they have worked with in the past. It is also so amazing that a photo booth is included and you receive all of your guests’ photos on a Google Photos drive literally the night of the wedding.
Robby was absolutely amazing to work with - he was responsive, professional, and super knowledgeable whenever we needed advice or a suggestion. Helping our rehearsal run super smoothly the night before our wedding made him a familiar face on our big day that we knew we could trust to ensure the day went smoothly.
