Joe Damone Photography is a wedding photography company based in Andes, New York. Owner and photographer Joe has been capturing weddings for more than 10 years. He specializes in rustic barn weddings, particularly in the Catskill Mountains area of New York. Joe is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, and utilizes his vast knowledge and experience to create images that are sure to become cherished keepsakes throughout the years.

Services Offered
Joe Damone Photography uses a contemporary, natural, and photojournalistic approach to wedding photography. In addition to the big day, couples can schedule engagement and boudoir sessions. He works hard to ensure that no moment is overlooked, and he only books one event per day. Second shooters can also be utilized and proof of liability insurance is available. Joe is also happy to work additional hours and travel to multiple locations as needed. The final images from Joe Damone Photography are always high-resolution, and are available in many formats, including:

We love our photos

Joe was so easy to work with for our wedding. We had two virtual conversations prior to the big day, and Joe gave us some really good ideas for shots. We wanted a more basic and natural photo style, and he delivered that. He got a lot of good shots of our guests mingling and talking, of the ceremony, and of course the portraits of us and our close friends and family. Not one complaint!

Joe will capture your wedding and so much more

My fiance and I are so glad we hired Joe. He was professional, reliable, and easy-going throughout the entire wedding process. And we love our wedding photos! My family has worked with Joe for a few years and we love his photos! He takes our family portraits and they’re beautiful every time!

Joe also photographs the dancers at my dance studio and those pictures come out fantastic as well!

Joy to Work With

Excellent communication and a pleasure to work with. Joe and his associates managed to be both simultaneously everywhere and completely unobtrusive. The planning sessions were a joy and the work was of excellent quality. Overall we could not recommend him more highly.

Joe was a dream to work with!

My husband and I could not have been happier we chose Joe to handle our wedding photography. We had a long phone conversation with Joe prior to our big day, where we discussed our vision, and he made careful note of everything. He also had us create a Pinterest board so he knew what kind of shots we had in mind. My husband and I are goofy and wanted wedding shots that really captured our personality, and Joe absolutely delivered (while also respecting our budget!), providing the perfect mix of direction and allowing us to do our own thing. We feel so lucky that we'll always get to remember our incredible day with Joe's wonderful photos.

Joe is a wonderful photographer. He took the most beautiful photos of our wedding and was flexible, easy to get in touch with and just really fantastic to work with. Our photos came out beautifully and we will have these memories forever. If you're looking for a photographer for your wedding Joe will do an amazing job. We couldn't be happier and only wish we could do it all over again!

Joe was amazing to work with from start to finish - his enthusiasm for our wedding and responsiveness from the beginning made it such a joy to have him as our photographer. He was incredibly flexible with his time too, and went out of his way to get special and unique shots. His assistant also jumped in to help get my hair set (she's also a professional hair stylist!!) when my friend who was going to style it was stuck in traffic. Joe is a professional who is flexible, easy going, and enthusiastic about weddings. We love the preview photos we've seen so far too :)

Joe was such a terrific photographer (as well as pulling double-duty as our 2nd witness for our eloping). He was friendly, funny, and so easy to work with.
