Our skilled team takes a highly-professional approach and works to cater to each client’s specific needs. Founder Rob Rivera developed a passion for photography at an early age. Joining the Army at 19, he became a Military Intelligence Analyst, specifically working in the area of imagery. Following his time in service, he established the company, has been featured in numerous publications, and is a secured a master's in communication.
While our home is now Syracuse, NY, we continue to serve the NYC, New Jersey, and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. In addition, our well-traveled staff is fully able to serve your destination wedding needs, whether nationally or internationally.

Rob is a former Senior Correspondent for First Responder News, former Photo Editor of Quo Vadis News, and has made regular submissions to numerous press agencies. He holds a Masters in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, one of the premier communications institutions in the United States. Now a professional member of the National Press Photographer's Association and the New Jersey Professional Photographers Association, he has expanded his reach, covering an area from New York City, to Philadelphia, to Central New York, and beyond.
Jessica is the newest addition to the Rob Rivera Photography family, joining in 2019 synchronously with the company's reach into the greater Central New York region. She is our primary second-shooter for weddings, as well as large special events. Her specialty is in portrait photography, including headshots, boudoir, graduation, and family photos. Additionally, Jessica maintains our client records and is a shared partner of Rob Rivera Photography, LLC.
