Wedding Music Bands in Syracuse

Jess performed live on guitar and violin for the ceremony and cocktail hour at my wedding before DJing late into the night. Her musical talents are quite impressive, she even learned some new songs for us! In the planning phase, she was organized, professional and very timely with communicating. She was able to make many great recommendations and guide us through decisions making the whole process stress free. Her equipment is all professional grade and she had all the microphones and speakers needed for speaches in one area, the ceremony in another area both away from the main DJ set up. I would highly recommend Jess as a solo performer/DJ and I would certainly go with the Duo if your budget allows! She also performs live regularly so check out her schedule and see a show so you can have a sample of the experience.

Ted did a great job with our DJing. He played all the songs we wanted him to play plus all the songs our guest wanted to hear and dance too. He was also very affordable compared to other DJ services we looked into. I would highly recommend Twist and Shout to anyone looking for a DJ.

Soft Spoken was a great wedding band. They learned very specific music for our reception, played great music and were all together friendly and fun. tons of fun wedding songs and they were VERY professional. The only complaint that I had was that my fiancee and I took dance lessons and we didn't quite get to finish our dance together before others were called to the dance floor. A communication error on both my part and on the band. Also, they did not practice the names of the attendants before and got some of them messed up.

Shawn played during our cocktail hour and he played our first song. He is fantastic and great to work with!

Destinations are an excellent band they keep the guest dancing and having a great time...nine people in the band....

We truly can’t say enough amazing things about Prime Time Horns! From our entrance to the final song of the night, they completely exceeded every expectation. Their energy was contagious and they kept the dance floor packed all night long. We were having so much fun that we even skipped our cake cutting just to stay out there dancing! They seamlessly incorporated all of our special requests, making the reception feel personal, meaningful and unforgettable. So many of our guests have told us it was the best wedding dance floor they’ve ever experienced! On top of everything, their pricing was more budget-friendly than many other bands we considered, which made the decision even easier. Booking Prime Time Horns was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!

The Mere Mortals played at my wedding a few weeks ago, and they ROCKED (literally!). I absolutely loved working with Maureen to plan our reception music--from introducing our bridal party to our first dance to getting the crowd out on the dance floor. They had a great selection of musics that spanned multiple generations and I had so many people come up to me after the wedding to say, "wow, your band was amazing." Thank you so much to Maureen and the Mere Mortals for leading the celebration and showing everyone such a great time!

After a large formal wedding and reception in NC we followed up a few months later with a backyard reception here in NY. All guest tables, food, cake table, etc. were under a huge white peaked party tent. Acoustic Remedy set up on the patio nearby. They provided great music. I had heard them several other times before and they played from their usual offerings and at my request played some of the music from the wedding. Great music, great musicians, reliable and very reasonably priced.

My husband and I had the opportunity to work with Carl to book Stringdom for the cocktail hour and dinner portion of our wedding, and we were not disappointed! Communication with Carl and the musicians of Stringdom via Gigsalad and email was quick and painless. They had a great catalog of music they already play from and went out of their way to learn arrangements of songs we requested! (which turned out beautifully, by the way!) They provided the perfect ambiance for our rustic wedding venue and we got so many compliments from wedding guests on their playing! Thank you so much to Carl, Peter and Dan for your beautiful work!

We knew, as soon as we became engaged, that Mood Swing was the perfect band for our event. Danielle and Andrew met with us to discuss our vision, song choices, and the band learned specific songs we requested that were not in their typical repertoire that is already very extensive. The band is extremely talented with some members playing several instruments. Danielle sang several songs during our ceremony and through our entire reception. She was on point as the MC and read the crowd when choosing each set. Mood Swing played their hearts out for us and we highly recommend them as a wedding band or for any occasion. We are extremely grateful for their hard work and talent. Our day was more special because of all of you!
