Uptown Groove band was truly the best band I have ever witnessed at a wedding. The fact that it was MY own wedding made the overall experience that much better. Seth, the band manager and lead guitar player is amazing and so wonderful to work with. He spent so much time with us on the phone to go over every single detail to ensure we were prepared and ready for our big day. All of my guests were completely blown away by their talent and performance. These musicians care about each other and their guests. Each and every member held a true talent that I have never witnessed before. Our guests could NOT get over this band, and either could we! We are so happy that we went with Uptown Groove for our wedding. The best day, the best band. Nobody else compares....truly. Cheers!

From the very first song to the final encore, they had every single guest on the dance floor. Their talent, energy, and professionalism are unmatched. The band was incredibly easy to work with—organized, flexible, and attentive to every detail. They thoughtfully incorporated our requests, read the room perfectly, and kept the energy high all night. The saxophone player even made his way into the crowd, which our guests absolutely loved! I cannot put into words how amazing it was working with Uptown Groove for our July 2025 wedding in Buffalo, New York. From the jump, Seth was an extremely valuable resource. He worked with my husband and I to really understand our musical vision for our wedding and was extremely helpful while doing so. He even invited us to one of the band's gigs before our wedding, so we could get a feel for their sound and the band itself. We ended up going, and it was so great meeting them all!

The week before the wedding, we had a full debrief with Seth and Harper (one of the lead vocalists), where we discussed in detail the schedule for the big day. For our wedding, Uptown Groove provided a jazz trio during cocktail hour, MC'd the entire reception, and all 9 members absolutely brought the house down during the dancing portion of the night. It was INCREDIBLE! They really took into consideration our "must play" and "prefer not to play" songs. In addition to sounding fantastic, they also really kept the party going - the dance floor was PACKED all night. We cannot recommend Uptown Groove enough. When all 250 of your wedding guests tell you that "the band was insanely good," you know it's real! Thank you so much to Uptown Groove team for making our night unforgettable. BOOK THEM! One month later and people are still talking about how amazing our band was. Uptown Groove brought the energy, talent, and vibes—we couldn’t have asked for better. They were so responsive throughout planning and even added two more musicians for us last-minute. They nailed all of our special requests and curated the best set list. The dance floor was full the entire night. Truly unforgettable!

Uptown groove did a phenomenal job performing at our wedding reception! Seth was so respectful during our planning process and was very open to collaborating with us to make sure our timeline and song selections were perfect! Dom, Jamel, Janine & BJ tackled our diverse song selection on vocals flawlessly. If you decide to splurge on one thing for your wedding day, make it be this band. You will not regret it!

The Uptown Groove had our 120 wedding guests dancing all night long! Awesome musicians and vocalists made our evening perfect! Seth was great to work with in advance of the wedding—ensuring we had audio support and music for the outdoor wedding ceremony and the dinner reception, as well as late night DJ support. When we moved to the dancing part of the evening the band blew us away with both current and 70s/80s/90s music that appealed to everyone.

WOW does The Uptown Groove know how to throw a party! This band is so talented, the dancing never stopped! I think everyone on the dance floor said "this band is amazing" for every song. My husband and I sent an overview of the type of music we'd like to be played at our wedding, and Seth and the group put together an incredible song list from their very long list of songs. Not only was the party a blast, Seth knows how to run a wedding timeline so smoothly that you don't have to worry about a thing on your wedding day. The Uptown Groove was AMAZING for our wedding!!!!! Seth and his colleagues were great to work with during the planning process, as well as on the day of our wedding. Many of our guests commented on how great the band was and how unique it was having a live band instead of a DJ. Their repertoire of different genres across different eras was also very impressive, and they absolutely NAILED every song!!!!! We danced the whole night, and it was so incredibly memorable. We also loved the ability to have brass in the band, and the saxophonist even came onto our dance floor to do a solo.
