Party of Nine

My now husband and I were incredibly fortunate to have been able to book Party of Nine as our wedding band! Bernadette is very responsive and truly amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. She helped us create our ideal song list and put so much thought into every detail to make the most memorable atmosphere for our wedding. Bernadette and the entire band are so very talented and brought such fun and constant energy to our wedding. Everyone raved about this band and we couldn’t recommend them enough. Book them for your next event while you can!

PO9 handled my daughter and son-in-law's wedding and lived up to their reputation as WNY's premier group. They read the room perfectly, were able to pivot with genres and proper vibes, and each guest from young to old LOVED the band. Being a musician myself, I appreciated their full, studio- quality mixed sound, and BIG ENERGY! Such a tight horn section as well - they play off of each other and have serious talent. You really cant get better anywhere around Western NY - BOOK THEM EARLY and lock it in!!

Bernadette was easy to communicate with prior to our wedding! Asked what we were looking for and Party of Nine totally delivered! We were looking for heavy on the 80s music with a few special requests. Our guests have continued to rave about the band ever since our wedding on August 21st!

Party of Nine was incredible at our July 2026 wedding! They brought such good energy and had the dance floor packed all night. They had a wide range of songs and my husband and I were able to select exactly what we were looking for. The band members were all super flexible and willing to help with any needed tasks. We actually had the saxophone players lead the walk across the venue to dinner playing a song. It was great! Bernadette brought an amazing energy that really contributed to the overall atmosphere of the night. Bernadette was responsive and helpful in the months leading up to the wedding. I would highly recommend Party of Nine!

Party of Nine was our band for our outdoor wedding at Knox Farm! Not only did they do a fantastic job on the day of, but they were so professional and organized ahead of the event. They really knew what they were doing and everything went seamlessly, and I think it makes a huge difference to have a sound tech as part of the group (something we would not have considered when we were choosing our band). It made a huge difference to go into the wedding day not having to worry about the music being too loud or the speeches too quiet. Plus the music was so fun! They play the classics, and they play them well...we had lots of compliments afterwards from all generations of family and friends.

I highly recommend (especially if you are doing an outside ceremony like we did) asking them about setting up ceremony sound as well so that everyone can hear all of the vows/ceremony aspects (for a small additional fee). We had a pretty large wedding (~170), so that was particularly important.

In summary, Bernadette was fantastic to work with, and I would recommend Party of Nine to anyone getting married in the Buffalo area looking for great live music.

We loved Party of Nine! They were able to play most of our songs that we requested and MC'd/directed logistical timelines like introducing us as the bride and groom, first dances, toasts etc. They were a total blast and we have gotten many, many compliments on how fun the band was. Our wedding happened to be during the Knicks final game and many of the guests were new yorkers, so if they were able to keep a crowd on the dance floor during that, I consider them top notch. Bernadette worked with me several times to build a timeline, and were flexible with our "New York Style Wedding" where we danced a little before dinner and for the rest of the night after. I only wish we could have danced with them longer. SO sad the day is over, we want to live it again and again and the band is a big part of that. We had an absolute blast dancing on stage, on chairs in circles and on as many elevated surfaces as possible. I didn't have a voice for weeks after screaming at the top of my lungs to every song.

We have used them for multiple events including a wedding and a work event! So professional, worked so well with us and the music is non stop and makes you wanna dance all night! Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a band for any type of party!

Party of Nine did not disappoint! From start to finish, Bernadette was extremely responsive and helpful in the planning process for our wedding. She was organized and helped to ensure the evening went smoothly. As soon as the band started at the reception, our guests were immediately drawn to the dance floor. Some quite literally ran to join the party. The dance floor never faded once throughout the night, and the band kept the energy high playing to the crowd. Our guests of all ages had an amazing time and we received so many compliments on the band as a whole. We could not recommend Party of Nine enough and are so appreciative to them for helping to make our wedding such a memorable experience.

If you're considering Party of Nine for your wedding or special event, stop looking and book them. Now! They were absolutely phenomenal and exceeded every expectation.

First and foremost, these are top-tier musicians. Every member of the band is incredibly talented, and the vocalists have outstanding voices that brought every song to life. On one of their first ones, a Billy Joel tune, I actually stopped what I was doing to see who was singing; I thought Billy was in the house. I thought I was attending a concert!

Their musicianship and stage presence were evident from the very first song and continued throughout the entire night. I don't think they took more than one break all night.

One thing that truly set Party of Nine apart was their willingness to learn new songs that were meaningful to the bride and groom. They not only agreed to add a couple of special requests to their repertoire, but they performed them beautifully. That level of flexibility and commitment to making the event personal meant so much.

The number of wedding attendees for our event was on the smaller side, which can sometimes make it challenging for even good bands to generate energy and keep a dance floor packed. Party of Nine accomplished what seemed impossible: they got everyone—and we mean everyone—out on the dance floor. From the first set to the final song, the dance floor was completely full. Guests of every age were dancing, singing along, and having the time of their lives. The energy never dipped all night.

The band's song selection was fantastic and appealed to a wide range of tastes. Their set list in accessible online and includes a perfect mix of classics, crowd favorites, and modern hits, creating an atmosphere where every guest had to get up and dance.

Throughout the night, I heard countless compliments from guests about how incredible the band was, and many people said it was one of the most fun wedding receptions they had ever attended.

Simply put, Party of Nine was a great call for the music at the wedding. If you want a band that delivers exceptional talent, incredible energy, a packed dance floor, and memories that will last a lifetime, Party of Nine is the band to hire.

Party of Nine was absolutely fantastic at The Park School of Buffalo's Auction 2026: A Par-Tee at Park! From start to finish, they brought incredible energy, professionalism, and talent to our event. Their music created the perfect atmosphere, keeping guests entertained and engaged throughout the evening.

The band, especially Bernadette, was easy to work with during the planning process, arrived prepared, and delivered an outstanding performance that appealed to guests of all ages. We received so many compliments from attendees about the music and the fun, lively vibe they helped create. The night ended with guests (and students) dancing with Bernadette on the dance floor.
