Jaynie and her staff at Basswood Event Planning were amazing to work with. It was a no brainer to hire them to help us with our wedding. I'm so happy that the venue gave us Jaynie's contact details because it was by far the best decision we made. We hired her for day of coordination services, but she went above and beyond that. She helped us get in contact with vendors we were still looking for and helping us organize the whole day. Julie was our day of coordinator and she was absolutely fantastic. She took care of talking to all the vendors and making sure we had everything we needed and more. Jaynie and Julie helped set up our floral arrangements and the dessert table. These finishing details really made such a huge impact. For all brides, I highly suggest hiring a day of coordinator so that you and your family and friends can enjoy the day without the hassle of last minute planning and organizing. I honestly cannot thank Julie and Jaynie enough. They were simply the best! Basswood Event Planning also offers rentals that are super cute. We rented a seating area and really pretty water glasses. Great quality services all around!

Could not have asked for a better planner. Shawn was attentive, thoughtful, and wholly invested in our day. Everything was completely seamless and she made it all happen. Best experience ever as a bride ❤️❤️❤️

We cannot express how much we love and appreciate Megan for how incredible she was throughout our wedding process!! From day one, she was there for every little question and paid attention to even the smallest details (i.e. song requests, contract discrepancies, decor details, tracking of the rings, outfit changes, and SO much more). She was at our rehearsal coordinating the entire run through, she was at our welcome party the day before, AND she was there from start to finish on wedding day (even making sure all of my stuff got brought back to my room so I could enjoy the after party!). Walking into the venue, I couldn't believe how perfectly everything had come together. Still not sure how it was possible that Megan was able to help create and decorate our dream wedding, coordinate all the vendors and timelines, and STILL be so present with us on our big day!!! This just shows how talented she truly is. Choosing Megan as your wedding planner will be the best decision you make!!!! Our wedding day was perfect in our eyes, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Most brides talk about feeling sad after their wedding because it's all over, but I've felt such an overwhelming sense of joy and peace because I truly don't think it could have gone any better. We have MLH to thank for that!! WE LOVE YOU MEGAN!!

Bianca and the rest of the Finger Lakes Team was incredible! Bianca helped us work through every single detail, often asking questions that we never would have thought to ask. She was lovely, kind, professional, and so much fun to work with. From the moment we arrived at our venue, Bianca made us feel calm, supported, and confident about our weekend. We were relaxed and happy the whole time. We were originally skeptical about hiring a wedding planner and executing OUR vision, but Bianca handled it perfectly. It was the best weekend of our lives thanks to her and her team. We can't recommend her enough.

Rachael is the absolute BEST and I cannot recommend working with her enough!!! She is organized, an amazing communicator, handles anything that comes up in a professional and calm manner, and goes above and beyond to make sure your wedding day is truly the best day ever. She helped bring our vision / mood board to life so perfectly and made the planning process fun and stress-free (I miss our planning calls!). We had quite a few rentals and vendors, and Rachael made sure everything was perfectly coordinated. She kept everyone on the same page, making sure all the details were in order and that each vendor had the information they needed for the day. From helping us select linen rentals and candle colors to creating a detailed multi-page timeline, she thought of everything — no detail was overlooked. It is clear that Rachael is passionate about her work and I am forever grateful that we had the opportunity to work with her for our wedding day!

Brandy was amazing to work with! I had only an idea of what I wanted. She had me make a Pinterest board to gather ideas. What she created was perfect! On the day of the wedding I couldn’t have asked for anything better. She was there communicating and telling us what was going to happen next. She worked so hard setting EVERYTHING up! Brandy made everything less stressful for us, but kept us in the loop the entire time. If you are questioning hiring a wedding planner, do it and make it Royal Carriage Events! 💗
