We never thought we would get the wedding of our dreams, especially with the busy life that we had while also planning a wedding. We decided one day to get a wedding planner, and Jaynie was able to create the wedding that we have always wanted. She listened to every single detail and always responded quickly to my messages with new ideas and thoughts. We were not stressed about the wedding one bit. What made the day of the wedding so great was that I was able to get ready and enjoy my morning with my girls without even thinking about preparation for the wedding. We let Jaynie have a lot of control over the design, and we had no idea how beautiful it would actually be. When we saw the final result (which was when we walked up the stairs during our announcement as newly weds at the reception), we were in total shock. We put a lot of trust in Jaynie to make the day beautiful, and it was. She also took so much stress of our families because she had everything coordinated. We didn't have to worry about running around the week of the wedding getting things done, and we couldn't thank her enough for it. If you are ever considering a wedding planner, defiantly keep Basswood Event Planning in mind, you won't be disappointed.

Jaynie and her staff at Basswood Event Planning were amazing to work with. It was a no brainer to hire them to help us with our wedding. I'm so happy that the venue gave us Jaynie's contact details because it was by far the best decision we made. We hired her for day of coordination services, but she went above and beyond that. She helped us get in contact with vendors we were still looking for and helping us organize the whole day. Julie was our day of coordinator and she was absolutely fantastic. She took care of talking to all the vendors and making sure we had everything we needed and more. Jaynie and Julie helped set up our floral arrangements and the dessert table. These finishing details really made such a huge impact. For all brides, I highly suggest hiring a day of coordinator so that you and your family and friends can enjoy the day without the hassle of last minute planning and organizing. I honestly cannot thank Julie and Jaynie enough. They were simply the best!

Is an incredible wedding planner. We were working with a very limited budget and jaynie took this into account for every single step of planning our wedding, coming up with creative solutions for a lot of the event details. She even arranged our flowers and made gorgeous bridal bouquets as she knew we were trying to save money on florals! Coming from the west coast it was nice to have all of the details for the week taken care of. Thanks to jaynie, everything was brought together seamlessly for our wedding, which was absolutely beautiful. Her attention to detail, anticipation of our needs, responsiveness, motivation and natural ability to go above and beyond make her an amazing wedding planner. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding planner!

I didn’t think I really needed a wedding coordinator, but let me tell you..do yourself the favor and go to Basswood Events!! I can’t tell you how much stress Jaynie took off of me, allowing me to enjoy my day to the fullest. If I had a question, she was able to find an answer quickly. Along with communicating with my other vendors to come up with the perfect timeline for my day, she had incredible items available to rent that just made the “look” of my day that much better! Jaynie came to me with things we needed for the wedding that I didn’t and wouldn’t have thought of! We are very grateful for her hard work.

Her guidance and steady hand was a calming influence on us and we couldn't have been happier to have her by our side. Jaynie and Basswood went above and beyond when it came to our wedding. Everything was delivered and ready for us to set it all and make it our own for the day. All of the pieces we rented were immaculate and gorgeous, and added that little bit of flair we were looking for.

My husband and I got married at the Emerson Park Pavilion, which required us to set up and take down all of our decorations. We knew we needed outside help with all things decorating. That's where Jaynie came in! Her style, ideas, and thoughtfulness when it came to our budget was greatly appreciated. She set up our centerpieces, signs, and dessert display items meticulously. And she was able to come to the venue that night to take everything down. Jaynie was a huge help throughout, and allowed us to spend our time enjoying our day. We'd recommend Basswood Events to anyone getting married who needs a helping hand

Jaynie was wonderful and made everything run smoothly for a castle wedding and your not so typical reception venue (Antique Boat Museum).! Highly recommend her! She will take all your worries away and help make your celebration the best it can be! We are so incredibly happy with the service she provided. All wedding participants were very happy she was there to guide them through the day!

Jaynie and staff made my day possible! My wedding went so smooth it felt like the day melted away! I would not have gotten through even the rehearsal without her!
