We never thought we would get the wedding of our dreams, especially with the busy life that we had while also planning a wedding. We decided one day to get a wedding planner, and Jaynie was able to create the wedding that we have always wanted. She listened to every single detail and always responded quickly to my messages with new ideas and thoughts. We were not stressed about the wedding one bit. What made the day of the wedding so great was that I was able to get ready and enjoy my morning with my girls without even thinking about preparation for the wedding. We let Jaynie have a lot of control over the design, and we had no idea how beautiful it would actually be. When we saw the final result (which was when we walked up the stairs during our announcement as newly weds at the reception), we were in total shock. We put a lot of trust in Jaynie to make the day beautiful, and it was. She also took so much stress of our families because she had everything coordinated. We didn't have to worry about running around the week of the wedding getting things done, and we couldn't thank her enough for it. If you are ever considering a wedding planner, defiantly keep Basswood Event Planning in mind, you won't be disappointed. -

Jaynie and her staff at Basswood Event Planning were amazing to work with. It was a no brainer to hire them to help us with our wedding. I'm so happy that the venue gave us Jaynie's contact details because it was by far the best decision we made. We hired her for day of coordination services, but she went above and beyond that. She helped us get in contact with vendors we were still looking for and helping us organize the whole day. Julie was our day of coordinator and she was absolutely fantastic. She took care of talking to all the vendors and making sure we had everything we needed and more. Jaynie and Julie helped set up our floral arrangements and the dessert table. These finishing details really made such a huge impact. For all brides, I highly suggest hiring a day of coordinator so that you and your family and friends can enjoy the day without the hassle of last minute planning and organizing. I honestly cannot thank Julie and Jaynie enough. They were simply the best!
Basswood Event Planning also offers rentals that are super cute. We rented a seating area and really pretty water glasses. Great quality services all around! -

Jaynie and Basswood went above and beyond when it came to our wedding. Everything was delivered and ready for us to set it all and make it our own for the day. All of the pieces we rented were immaculate and gorgeous, and added that little bit of flair we were looking for. -

Jaynie was wonderful and made everything run smoothly for a castle wedding and your not so typical reception venue (Antique Boat Museum).! Highly recommend her! She will take all your worries away and help make your celebration the best it can be! We are so incredibly happy with the service she provided. All wedding participants were very happy she was there to guide them through the day! -

Wouldn’t have survived without her!
Jaynie and staff made my day possible! My wedding went so smooth it felt like the day melted away! I would not have gotten through even the rehearsal without her! I hired her for my day of event and it was well worth it! She read my mind and did things I didn’t even know needed done. I honestly wouldn’t have wanted anything done differently and she went above and beyond with all my expectations and more. I recommend her to everyone I know who is engaged/ planning a wedding. -

My husband and I rented our beautiful bohemian, fringe chargers, our rust colored table runners, and our entrance sign easel from Jaynie for our August 13th wedding. We could not have been happier! Jaynie is incredibly helpful, kind, and provides absolutely beautiful rentals. She was quick to respond and always willing to help with whatever we needed. Her prices are also very fair! We continue to get compliments on our tablescapes specifically our fringe chargers. We gladly recommend Bassword Event Planning for your wedding! -

Jaynie responded quickly to every question I had and was beyond accommodating - days before our wedding she allowed us to add some additional rentals. Jaynie was able to put us in contact with multiple vendors and offered suggestions, always keeping our vision in mind. She made our backyard wedding that much more special and can’t thank her enough! -

Spectacular!! Basswood Event Planning made our day so special and flawless. Everything was handled thoroughly and with great detail. From the color scheme, the theme, the place settings and decor, their were so many options to choose from. Our preferences were always taken into consideration and great suggestions were offered when requested. Our wedding was held at Izzo’s White Barn Winery as we loved the barn feel for our venue. We will never forget that moment that we looked through the barn doors and saw the transformation. It brought tears our eyes. We highly recommend Basswood Event Planning for a wedding or any event. They are professional, organized and very talented. You won’t be disappointed. -

I would recommend her 1000000 times over to anyone hesitant on wanting or needing a planner! Hire her, I promise you won’t be disappointed!! Jaynie is so calm, caring, creative and above all amazing. She listens to every detail or vision you may have for your big day and delivers leaving you in aw! She was right there every step of the way from set up to making sure everything was perfect the day of. I don’t know what I would have done without her, Jaynie and her team are amazing and made my day truly beautiful and stress free! -

Jaynie is great!! My husband and I highly recommend her. Jaynie came highly recommended to us by the owner of our venue and we are so glad that we decided to hire her. I have a hard time with letting go of control on things so this was a big stressor for me with the fact that I had to rely on so many different vendors that played a huge role in our special day. I knew that as the bride, I would be behind the scenes a lot so i couldn’t be out there running things. Hiring Jaynie put my mind at ease tremendously! She kept the day/evening flowing perfectly. Whatever needed to get done, she made sure it got done. She even made sure my husband and my drinks were always full! lol Thank you again Jaynie! 🙏🥰 - Michelle & Brent -

When I was looking for a day of coordinator for my wedding day I came across the Basswood Event Planning website and I am SO glad I did. Unfortunately, Jaynie was not available for our wedding date but she told me the other services she was able to offer including rentals. I ended up renting almost all of my decorations from her! She has pictures of everything on the website and even offered to set up a time to show me everything in person just to be sure I got what I wanted! Jaynie is extremely organized, easy to communicate with and super down to earth! I HIGHLY recommend Jaynie and her team for any wedding needs! -

Jaynie is by far one of the top decisions I have ever made! EVERYONE that encountered her loved her! Vendors, bridal party, family, guests, they ALL commented on how wonderful and helpful she was. As for me, holy crap would I have regretted not having her. I have a very hard time trusting others to do what I can do myself. My complete and total trust was in Jaynie because I knew from day one she had my back, saw my vision, trusted my quirky decisions and truly listened. I was hesitant if hiring someone was going to be worth the investment and let me tell you that looking back, her part in our day being perfect is beyond priceless. I could never thank Jaynie enough, I am confident if you are open to welcoming her into your journey you will feel the same! -
