Lydia from Catskill Weddings was both our wedding planner and florist, and I would highly recommend her for either (or both!). As our florist, the flowers were absolutely gorgeous, beautiful quality, elegantly arranged, and the prices were fair. As our planner, Lydia put together a wedding that more than exceeded any expectation we had. Lydia was flexible and communicative and was able to lean on her extensive experience in the industry and give sound advice whenever needed. She took the hodgepodge of inspo pics I sent her, and put together a wedding that was so fun and so beautiful that we are still getting notes from our guests thanking us for inviting them, and telling us again how wonderful it was. On the day of our wedding there was truly nothing to worry about - Lydia had thought of it all. Highly recommend working with Lydia and letting her create wedding magic.

Catskill Flower Shop did an absolutely phenomenal job with our wedding flowers. Flowers were originally pretty low on our list of priorities, but they turned into a highlight of our wedding day and we can’t stop talking about how much we loved them. Catskill Flower Shop had a tough job with our request to match a nontraditional, dark, moody, wild, witchy vibe, but the flowers were perfect and received so many compliments! Communication was a little rough at first (having to correct the spreadsheet and email more than once that we’re two brides and not a bride and a groom wasn’t great), but we consistently felt welcomed when discussing in person or via phone, and communication was consistent and smooth once Stacy stepped in.

Due to rescheduling our wedding three times, I was very late finding a flower vendor. Lydia from Catskill Flower Shop followed up with me immediately and created a lovely and meaningful plan for bouquets, garlands, and arbor decorations which aligned with our wedding colors and vibes. She delivered flowers to the venue and set up the arbor decorations quickly and quietly! We are very pleased with her quick and meaningful work - definitely recommend!

My husband and I used Lydia's services to help search for our wedding venue, and then to provide floral and decor on the day of our wedding.

Lydia was a true area expert in wedding venues, and shared locations with us that my google searches couldn't find. She was thoughtful and really listened when we had our initial call about the things we did/didn't want in our venue. And she sent us to the perfect place! I cried tears of joy five minutes after arriving on the property and we booked on the spot.

We hired Lydia as our month of coordinator, florist, and decorator. She went above and beyond from day 1. Lydia was the best thing that happened to our wedding. We chose to hire her for the day-of coordinator role; but with Lydia, day-of becomes month-of. After two short meetings, Lydia had collected all of the details she needed about the event and our vision for it, and was able to execute seamlessly. Throughout the entire process, Lydia maintained a wonderful calm, which any bride-to-be will appreciate. I never for a single second questioned my ability to rely on her completely.

Along with wedding planning, we had Lydia do our flowers and decorations. This was ideal for me (a complete control freak), because in this way my florist was also my wedding coordinator, which would ensure there was no confusion with the wedding set-up. Lydia brought her own vintage bottles to hold our flowers, and recommended simple details (such as lanterns going up the stairs and a vintage mailbox for cards) that helped pull together the entire look and feel of the event. She even worked with the venue in order to hang firefly lights from the ceiling at my husband's request. I only wish I could post photos next to this review so you could truly appreciate how beautiful everything was. Lydia is a master at her craft, and it is because of her talent and creativity that our wedding was so beautiful.

I had an intimate elopement recently and hired Lydia to do my bridal bouquet. She was very responsive to my emails, call and texts. I sent her a few pictures and she knew immediately what I needed and desired. The bouquet was gorgeous and I was complimented on it all day.

Had I opted to do a large wedding (as I was originally planning), she definitely would have been my planner! She has impeccable taste and a knack for bringing your vision to life. We had the most magical day of our lives. Of course we have each other to thank you for that, as well as our wonderful family and friends--but there is no denying that this day was orchestrated and fulfilled by Lydia's careful, compassionate, and able skills, talents, and visions. We got married earlier this month at the Roxbury Barn and used Lydia for our flowers which were so beautiful and tailored to the feel of our wedding, beautiful and elegant, while still keeping the feeling of getting married in the woods. She was also our month-of wedding planner and we could NOT have done it without her (or without me crying a whole lot). My husband and I are based in Brooklyn, so having someone who knows everyone up there to lead in the right direction was pivotal. She helped us with vendors well before the month-of and got us deals we would have have know about on our own.
