Soft Spoken was a great wedding band. They learned very specific music for our reception, played great music and were all together friendly and fun. tons of fun wedding songs and they were VERY professional. The only complaint that I had was that my fiancee and I took dance lessons and we didn't quite get to finish our dance together before others were called to the dance floor. A communication error on both my part and on the band. Also, they did not practice the names of the attendants before and got some of them messed up.

Soft Spoken were SO MUCH FUN. They had people dancing til the end, and begging for more. They were also very good value--because of the timing of our event and the set up, they played for several hours. In addition to playing, they also brought a DJ to break up their playing and give the musicians a break. So we got to have a great mix of what Soft Spoken plays and top 40/other party songs that were not part of Soft Spoken's set list. Reggie worked with us up to the day to get things sorted out and ready to go.
My one complaint was that we had said that the band could play until midnight or 1 depending on the crowd; however, I was asked to make the call at 11. At 11, the crowd was winding down, so we made the decision to go until midnight, but at midnight, the crowd had grown again, and was begging for more music. They would not, however, play until 1, saying that they had to play for church in the morning. The drive between Syracuse and our venue is a bit long--about 2 hours--but we were disappointed that they made us make the decision at 11.
