Spillian is a place of dreams.

An exquisite mountain great camp built in the 1880's by the Fleischmann's Yeast Family, Spillian evokes the rustic elegance of the Gilded Age with original clear pine siding covered in unique historic oil murals, furnished with antiques, with a Steinway and a concert harp, all on thirty two acres in the magical Catskill mountains. This is a museum quality building, painstakingly restored, and in the process of being listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's the kind of place that you usually have to see behind velvet ropes instead of feeling like it's really yours.

Eight enchanting rooms, each differently appointed, a grand dining room with a huge table for feasting, antique furniture, silver, art, and oriental rugs, 2 wood burning fireplaces, a porch to die for, claw foot tubs in every bath, a commercial kitchen and full liquor license, a focus on locally crafted food and spirits, a pond, an utterly romantic Victorian era rustic gazebo, and forests to explore, filled with moss covered rocks and hemlocks and springs, as well as meadows to use as outdoor gathering spaces, with bonfire rings and flexible tent locations.

Intimate, completely private, charming, and elegant without being fussy, Spillian offers the perfect place for a wedding that is about you. Our wedding consultant is the area's most beloved wedding planner, and can work with you (at no cost to you!) to best imagine how Spillian can work for you. We have superb in-house catering available as well as relationships with all of the best area independent caterers, for your shower, rehearsal dinner, or wedding feast.

Spillian is a four season wedding location. Come in the spring, and get married among the daffodils and bluebells; or in the summer in the high green glory of the Catskills; in the fall, blazing with color and with the snap of autumn in the air; or in the winter, embraced by falling snow with fires blazing in the two main floor fireplaces.
