La Tourelle Inn & Spa

My husband and I got married here in June and we couldn't be happier with the day. We live out of state and had quite a few people traveling, so a hotel venue was ideal for us, and planning everything via e-mail and phone was made really simple with Christina! As others have said, she goes above and beyond to make your vision come to life which, for us, included working out the table linens and dinnerware with the rental company Shabby Sisters (we didn't have to talk to them once). It was perfect for our guest count of 65, and I wouldn't recommend weddings of 100+ guests due to the size of the reception space. The venue was extremely flexible when I went back and forth on a few of my decisions and asked if we could have a few things customized. The full open bar was totally worth it and they made our signature cocktails so delicious! We absolutely loved having the full barn suite for the weekend to house some of our wedding party, get ready in, and hang out in throughout the weekend - it was worth every penny. We were given the Paris Room to stay in which felt so peaceful and secluded. Christina and staff did an excellent job running the events all weekend and made it so I didn't have to make any more decisions upon our arrival. Many of our guests made sure to tell us how great the staff, food, and venue as a whole was. We even had a few people hike the Buttermilk Falls trail the morning of the wedding! We would have loved even more time to hang out and enjoy everything. Overall, we were so happy to see our vision come to life with the charm of the lovely La Tourelle venue as the perfect backdrop.

I cannot put into words how my heart felt at the end of my wedding day. We got countless compliments on finding such a beautiful hidden gem of a venue. Every single person we encountered at the facility made us feel so special having our wedding there. The rooms were absolutely beautiful but the best part was by far Christina
She set up our ceremony space, our reception room, bartended, did clean up and break down as well as made it so easy on us picking up our decorations
There is no amount of money any venue could charge that would be enough for what Christina did for us.

My husband and I struggled to find a wedding venue that didn't have seemingly endless hidden fees and expenses. Between that and dealing with my parents' overbearing opinions, we were considering not having a wedding at all when we found La Tourelle, and more accurately, Christina. Whatever La Tourelle is paying her, it's nowhere near enough.

Christina made the whole process of planning a wedding so much easier and less stressful. The quote she gives you is actually the price you will pay, including taxes, etc. There are no "extra" fees and no pressure to spend more than your budget. She was an expert at dealing with a million questions from my mom and communicating with us to make sure that everything was exactly what we wanted. During our wedding, one of our guests had a medical emergency and Christina and her staff dealt with the whole ordeal quietly and professionally.

Our day was beautiful, fun and exactly what we wanted, thanks to La Tourelle and Christina. Highly recommend!

Christina Joyce at La Tourelle was our weding coordinator and she was truly incredible. The day went so smoothly becuase of her and I basically had to worry about nothing other than getting married the day of the wedding. She set up and took everything down. The food was amazing and the venue was gorgeous. Would definitley recommend having your wedding at La Tourelle!

I will probably get teary eyed just writing this review, because everything about our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and so much of that was because of La Tourelle. Scott & Cameron were so unbelievably helpful and attentive and just went above and beyond for us, but the lion's share of my praise goes to Christina, who honest to God is just a superhuman. She was the decision maker in the beginning, because so many venue's communication was terrible and that was a red flag for me. Christina was quick, thorough, and made me feel like she could handle anything. And BOY did she. Any wild idea I threw at her she was game for, and if it wasn't possible, she found an alternative. When my swags were too heavy for my arbor, she made it work. When I couldn't find wine barrels for my aisle, she found them AND handled the transport. If there were any hiccups on the day of, she never let me know. I'm sure she did more for me than I will ever know, and I'm so grateful to her. She is genuinely just such a wonderful person and I could heap praise on her endlessly.
All of our rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The grounds were immaculate and so naturally beautiful we barely had to do anything. Everyone got to know our families during our stay and made us feel like they were as excited for our wedding as we were. And the FOOD, my God the food. I should've brought a tupperware to fill and hidden it in my room. My biggest regret is that I didn't eat enough of it.
I'm so happy that we'll be able to return to La Tourelle for years to come and remember the happiest day of our lives. And I'm sure the whole staff will be as warm and welcoming as we remember.

My husband and I chose LaTourelle for our wedding venue. We could not be happier with how everything turned out! We have been in contact with Christina for two years prior to our wedding day and she delivered exactly what she promised. The ceremony and reception set-up and decorations were top notch. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and professional. We had a bonfire after party once the reception was over and everyone enjoyed themselves. We would like to thank Christina and the LaTourelle staff for making our wedding day so special.

My husband and I got married in September of 2021 at La Tourelle and we can't thank Christina and the staff enough for an incredible weekend. Our guests loved staying in the beautiful hotel and exploring the grounds, and being able to stay on the sight of the ceremony and reception took such a weight off our shoulders. Christina went above and beyond to assists us with our DIY decorations while also elevating them to the next level. We had initially planned to have the ceremony outdoors but woke up the day of the ceremony to a day full of rain. Luckily, Christina was ready with all the adjustments and made sure we were as stress-free as possible. La Tourelle allows you to be as hands on or off as you'd like, making our day exactly what we wanted without us feeling like we didn't have time to enjoy our day. Also we got to have a fire and cook s'mores after the reception which was a highlight for our guests!

If you are looking for a venue, look no further than La Tourelle! The scene at La Tourelle was breathtaking; the newly renovated indoor banquet room and outdoor wedding ceremony and reception sites were equally stunning. Our guests mentioned this was the most beautiful wedding they have seen. There are numerous unique opportunities for bridal photos on their property. The rooms were pricey but worth it. They were spacious, clean, exclusive, and magical.
Planning a wedding from afar, during a pandemic was very challenging, but Christina made the process as smooth as possible. I was not able to see the venue until 4 days prior to my wedding, but Christina sent videos and pictures to help me feel secure with my choices. She responded quickly to my messages and was in constant communication with us. The team at La Tourelle was thrown many daily curveballs from the government due to Covid-19 restrictions and they were able to problem solve and execute similar options in a timely fashion. Christina went above and beyond her responsibilities and our expectations to ensure we had an exquisite wedding weekend experience.
In addition to the reception, we had a bridal breakfast the following morning. Christina had the banquet room set up lovely for our guests’ arrival, but since it was a gorgeous day outside, guests requested to sit outside. She was very flexible and quickly accommodated the change. Besides choosing my husband, picking La Tourelle and their team was the best decision I have made. We hope to return next summer for our first anniversary and enjoy a couple’s massage in their spa.

Loved working with Christina! We were impressed to see the owner busing tables and just jumping in to do whatever job needed to be done. We thought ‘that’s great leadership, no wonder this is a great environment!’

We could not have asked for a better place than La Tourelle. They have so many amenities and some of the best staff we ever worked with. Everyone who went to our wedding could not stop raving about how accommodating they were. We were not from the area and they made it super easy to plan a wedding. The months leading up to our wedding they provided us with ample recommendations for vendors and timely responses to our inquiries.

We had our dinner rehearsal right outside the yellow barn suite. They provided a wonderful ambiance with fire pit, tiki torches and smores as the evening grew dark and helped us clean up so it was presentable in the morning. We even were able to set up our decorations the day before because there were no other events in the reception hall that evening.

In the morning I (bride) went to the August Moon Spa where I had my makeup done. Then all of the girls got ready in the yellow barn suite which has a master bedroom with a Jacuzzi, two loft bedrooms up a spiral staircase with a common bathroom downstairs near the common room. The suite had the rustic look we were going for so it was a great place for our photographer to come in and take pictures of us getting ready. There was plenty of room so we also had a hair dresser come in and set up in the common room.

We had our ceremony right outside of the reception by the gazebo. We even had our dog in the room right next to the ceremony and reception so it was super easy for someone to take care of him! The appetizers and dinner were wonderful. We opted for the Viennese station in Lou of a traditional wedding cake (mainly because we are not big cake fans). Eileen, the catering manager, surprised us with a beautiful small white cake for us to cut! There was so much food we couldn't try everything but everyone we talked to said it was delicious.

La Tourelle will forever have a special place in our hearts and what better place visit on for our anniversary!
