Jen and Allie were truly the backbone of our wedding day, and I cannot recommend them enough. From the very beginning of the planning process through the end of the night, they went far beyond what we ever expected from day-of coordinators.

One of the things that impressed me most was how incredibly organized they were. They remembered every detail we had discussed throughout the planning process, including the small details that I never expected anyone else to remember. They took all of the ideas, decisions, and moving pieces we had spent months planning and executed them flawlessly. It was clear that they were not just following a timeline—they genuinely knew our vision and made sure every detail came together exactly as we imagined.

Because our wedding was held at an arboretum, there were many moving pieces involved. We had to bring everything in and out, coordinate multiple vendors, manage rentals, and transform the space into our vision for the day. Jen and Allie handled every single detail with professionalism, calmness, and grace. They took on the logistical stress that would have otherwise fallen on my family and me, allowing us to be fully present and actually enjoy our wedding day.

What impressed me most was their ability to anticipate needs before they became problems. They handled behind-the-scenes hiccups seamlessly and shielded me from unnecessary stress so I could focus on the moments that mattered. They truly understood that the bride and groom should not be worrying about logistics on their wedding day, and they made sure we never had to.

They were constantly communicating with vendors, ensuring timelines stayed on track, managing setup and breakdown, and making sure every detail we spent months planning came together exactly as intended. They were not just checking boxes—they were actively involved, solving problems, and advocating for us throughout the entire day.

One of the biggest compliments I can give them is that multiple vendors commented on how wonderful they were to work with. Their professionalism, kindness, and ability to collaborate made such a difference. They created a positive environment for everyone involved and were truly the glue that held the day together.

Looking back, hiring Jen and Allie was one of the best decisions we made. They allowed us to fully experience our wedding instead of spending the day managing it. JL original designs exceeded every expectation for our wedding day! From start to finish, Jen and Ashley were just amazing. Their professionalism, attention to detail,and dedication were unparalleled. To start the invitations were custom made and Ashley added a map to our gazebo ceremony location. The custom signs were impressive and even framed. The flowers were stunning, beautifully vibrant and perfectly arranged. They took their time to listen and communication was seamless. They went above and beyond when they were short with one table vase , they spray painted all of them to match my rose gold accents and our guests could not stop raving about the beautiful flowers. The flowers were all fresh except I wanted the arrangements outside by the gazebo to be silk so I could bring them home and they were simply stunning. They went above and beyond with arranging my place cards and everything was just perfect. Jen also placed the beautiful flowers on our wedding cake !

When I first started planning my daughter’s wedding last January, I wasn’t sure that I would need a Wedding Planner. After all, I am organized and planned many big parties at my house. But then I realized that I really was not able to enjoy the parties because I was constantly concerned about how everything would run and was working the whole day. I decided that for my daughter’s wedding I wanted someone else to have that role and JL Designs are masters!!! Ashley, Jenn, and Donna are wedding coordinators who helped make the day run flawlessly and effortlessly. They were there for us every step of the way.
They were always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had throughout the entire process!
Their attention to detail and the time line of the day enabled me to just take in every glorious moment, really be present, and socialize with my guests without a worry in the world. When one or two hiccups happened in the planning process with vendors, Jl designs handled everything. It was such a huge weight off my shoulders. I was excited and happy the week of my daughter’s wedding… not stressed.

In addition Ashley did a fabulous job with our invitations, signage, table number cards and ceremony programs. All were beautiful and our guests raved about how beautiful it all was.

We used JL Original designs for our wedding in August at Peddler's Village. Jen and her team went above and beyond our expectations for decorations and flowers for our wedding! We opted for all of our flowers to be silk so that we could keep them forever and WOW! The flowers were STUNNING! Every flower looked incredibly real and beautiful. You could tell how much time and thought was put into the design of each our flowers. Working with Jen and her team was an absolute pleasure. Jen also sent us pictures throughout the design process as our wedding approached, which was fantastic! They were so incredibly easy to work with, communicative throughout the entire process and were able to meet all of our wants and needs. Jen and her team went above and beyond for our wedding. We hired them as a month of coordinator and Jen met with me many times throughout the year to keep me on track and discuss the vision of our special day. They were so so helpful the day of the wedding with setting things up, keeping everyone on schedule, checking vendor contracts, and breaking stuff down/ collecting all personal items to take home the night of. It was a perfect night and Jen and her team did a fabulous job.

First of all, on behalf of myself, the bride and groom, and both of our families I'd like to offer a sincere THANK YOU for all that you did behind the scenes, especially throughout the very long day of the wedding. When I say, we couldn't have done it without you, that is a huge understatement. When we first booked the wedding venue, all of our friends who had had their children's weddings there stated how wonderful the person who was supposed to be our 'day of' wedding coordinator was in making sure things went smoothly. While I trusted their opinion, I quickly realized that he was an employee of the venue and might have conflicting priorities regarding the actual wedding day as it unfolded. They all questioned my need for a private wedding planner, but I am so happy I trusted my instincts to bring you on board because it is impossible, despite hours of planning to make sure all things go as expected during the various parts of the wedding, without help. Many things did not go as planned at the wedding, but very few because of our advanced work with you. Going forward, I will strongly recommend hiring a wedding planner and your company will definitely be on the short list of endorsed wedding vendors.

Your calmness, regardless of what was going on, along with your competence to actually get things done was truly appreciated. As a perfectionist, I realized that there would be snafus along the way, but being able to depend on you helped temper my disappointment as they inevitably arose. I knew if something could be fixed, if you saw it or I mentioned it, needed changes would be made. As you well know, you only get one chance to create the wedding of someone's dreams, so having you and your team do everything possible to make that happen is priceless.

Overall, we couldn't be happier with how the wedding turned out – the bride and groom and our guests really enjoyed themselves and I know that all the advanced work, with your guidance, really made the difference. Thank you Jen!

In the months leading up to our wedding, we worked with Jen to go over all the details of our big day throughout several calls and emails. This took a lot of the pressure off the unknown aspects of the wedding day and helped us prepare for the the things that required more of our attention, I wish we would have hired Jen even earlier! On the actual wedding day we worked primarily with Jen who was AMAZING. She kept me informed of the timelines throughout the whole day and kept reassuring me that things were going well and not to worry about the small details. She was absolutely crucial to the success of our wedding and we can't say enough good things about working with her. We also worked with Holly who was fantastic and helped keep the wedding party on top of timelines as well. They were both professional and kind to everyone at our wedding. Our bridal party and guests complimented how great they were as well. If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, please talk to Jen! I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding.
