Ja'el at The Coordinated Collective was without a doubt the glue that held my wedding together and one of the best hiring decisions I have ever made. I interviewed a couple wedding coordinators before choosing Ja'el and I knew even from speaking with her on the phone during our initial consult that she was the coordinator I needed on my team. Ja'el was a consummate professional, she answered questions we didn't even know we had, helped keep us on track as we approached the wedding and most importantly reassured this overwhelmed bride by acting as a personal cheerleader on the way to our big day. So many of my family members came up to me during and after the wedding to say how impressed they were with Ja'el and her assistant Evin during the wedding. She was everywhere and managed the entire vendor team seamlessly. Ja'el was also my personal hero. When I pulled my wedding dress out of the bag, a critical button was missing causing my dress to gape open in the back and destroying any chance of a bustle. Ja'el whipped out her own needle, thread and back-up button and got to work sewing me into the dress and fixing the bustle. Is there anything else you need to know? The woman carries an emergency sewing kit because SHE DOES THIS yall. Please hire her. I am so grateful, thank you Ja'el. You were amazing at every turn.

We hired The Coordinated Collective for day of coordination and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Chrishaun was our lead coordinator and she was exactly who we needed in our corner. She was organized, steady, clear, and always responsive. Any time we had a question, she got back to us quickly with real answers, not vague reassurance.

She also helped us navigate one of the more frustrating parts of our planning process which was dealing with our venue contacts in the weeks leading up to our wedding. Communication from them fell off and became inconsistent and confusing, and getting information or a basic invoice from them was a whole ordeal. Chrishaun handled all of it with so much patience. She kept following up, stayed firm but professional, and made sure nothing fell through the cracks. Having her take that off our plate was a lifesaver when we were so busy in the last few days and allowed us to focus on ourselves and not get frustrated.

On the wedding day she was calm, prepared, and totally on top of everything.
She checked in with us, kept the timeline moving, coordinated with all the vendors, and made the entire day feel smooth and easy. We genuinely got to be present and enjoy ourselves because she was handling everything behind the scenes. She made sure we got to do everything that we were worried we'd miss (like our photo booth) too.

TCC also has great back end systems that make the whole process efficient. Everything ran through HoneyBook, and they provided a shared Google Drive with timelines, questionnaires, layouts, and other planning tools. It kept everything organized and easy to reference, which I really appreciated.

Also worth noting: Ja’el, who runs TCC, impressed me right away on our intro call. She set the tone for how professional and well-organized their whole team is, and that carried through the entire experience.

Overall, The Coordinated Collective was dependable and incredibly easy to work with. I’d recommend them without hesitation.

I referred back to Blair’s meticulously documented recap emails from our planning meetings so many times during planning - no idea how anything would have gotten done without those! We always felt like they were firmly on our team. Their presence throughout those final weeks kept us calm and confident… despite the best attempts of some of our vendors and family!

And then the wedding day itself… flawless. Truly flawless. They executed the day with precision, grace, and warmth. They handled countless details behind the scenes so seamlessly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our big day. At one point during dinner, I (the bride) leaned over to my mom to ask if she had floss because I had food stuck in my teeth, and before I could finish my sentence, Liz promptly whisked me away to a back room where I found myself suddenly in front of a mirror with a toothpick in hand!

The level of support and preparation during the pre-wedding stages was above and beyond what we ever expected. Our families and friends are still raving about how fantastic they were on the day-of.

We also decided to add on content creation with Teri late in the process, and we are SO glad we did. She was amazing—funny, kind, unobtrusive, and everywhere at once without ever feeling like a camera was in our faces. A couple of days after the wedding, we received our raw video dump, and it is worth every single penny. I’ve spent hours reliving the day through all the behind-the-scenes moments she captured with our guests, family, and wedding party. She didn’t miss a thing. We can’t wait to see the short-form content she creates, but honestly, the raw footage alone already exceeded our hopes.
