Working with James was one of the best choices we made when planning our wedding. His work is amazing and we could not be happier with the finished film. He is talented, kind, responsive, helpful, and just as his website advertises...a total wedding ninja. We barely noticed his presence all day and yet he still managed to capture all of the special moments and put them together in a way that would make a stranger cry about the power of love. We had our video in less than 2 months following our wedding, which is an insanely fast turn around for this type of project, and the quality is unbelievable. If I ever come across another event in life that it is socially acceptable to hire a videographer to document...James will be my guy!

I can’t say enough good things about James Knightly Films! From the initial phone conversation that we had with James to the finished product of our video, James and his wife Laura were an absolute pleasure to work with. We looked long and hard for an awesome videographer that would be able to capture the special moments of our day but do so in a contemporary and modern fashion (rather than the old-fashioned cookie-cutter videos!)

Our wedding was on a Saturday evening in November at Atrium at the Curtis Center in Center City, Philadelphia. During the wedding, James and Laura blended into the background and went totally unnoticed while still capturing every part of our wedding. They are extremely kind, professional, courteous, and they worked extremely well with our photographers (which is a huge factor when picking a videographer!!!)

We are starting to receive our finished products, and we are blown away by our trailer video, as well as our highlight film! We’ve watched both hundreds of times, and we can’t wait to share both with our friends. We even asked for a minor edit in our highlight film (a few clips that we wanted in there), and James did it without any problems or hesitations, and he did it in no time!

If you are contemplating your videographer choice, RUN – don’t walk – to James Knightly Films! They come highly recommended!

James was wonderful to work with for our wedding on 10.18.14! I interviewed three videographers and from the get-go had a great vibe from James, plus I though he was priced very competitively given the quality of his films. In the months leading up to the wedding, he was prompt in responding to emails and flexible about switching our times around when we got closer to the day and our timeline evolved. On the wedding day, he and his second shooter did a great job managing our huge wedding party and getting the shots that perfectly captured our day --- I was blown away when I saw the final product. Respectful during our ceremony and during intimate moments in our first look, James captured all of the honest, natural moments that we shared during our wedding without us even feeling like he was there at all.

I'd recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat (and already have been to my newly engaged friends!). A true class act, and the humblest guy you’ll ever met. He'll capture your wedding day in the sincerest, most beautiful way, and it will make you want to watch your wedding video on repeat forever.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would give him 100 in a heartbeat! I have worked in the bridal industry for 10 years. I have watched the cheesy cookie cutter videographers pass me by at countless other weddings. Not only is James Knightly a talented videographer but he is an artist! He loves what he does and it is so evident in his work. I met him while working a wedding about a year before my own. Immediately I noticed his professionalism, his calm, easy-going nature, and his ability to stay behind the scenes! I couldn't wait to get home and watch some of his videos. I already knew that I liked him a lot (and you do spend a lot of time with your videographer so you better hope he's cool to hang out with!). So I went home and watched all of his videos. Ok if videos of perfect strangers can make me cry I knew this guy was talented. I love that he captures the little moments, the things you miss on your own wedding day that you can now cherish forever. His style is absolutely amazing and we have gotten countless compliments and notes of jealousy from our friends and family who all wish they had hired him!! Don't have that regret, you have GOT to hire him. My husband wasn't sure we needed a video, hey weddings are expensive and its hard to fit everything into the budget. I can tell you that having this video and all the raw footage is priceless. I love that I can go back and HEAR our vows again, watch my grandmother dance again, and see me smear a bit of icing on my husband's face again :). I hope you find this review helpful because I know when I was planning I would pour over these reviews. James is such a kind person and well deserving of his success. Hire him he's just amazing!!

We are so happy that we hired James for our wedding day videography. His professionalism was evident from the moment we first contacted him. James responded to our inquiries promptly and was proactive about communicating with us about our expectations before the day of the event. On our wedding day, James was friendly, flexible and accommodating to our schedule. The final product looks amazing! James captured all the important moments of the day beautifully. He truly has an artistic vision.

James and Laura shot our wedding this past weekend and were absolutely wonderful. Throughout the entirety of the 12-hour day, they not only remained professional but also were so much fun to work with. They worked seamlessly with our photographers, as if they had been working together for years! They provided great direction during the bridal party photos and also managed to blend into the background during our reception. Despite their continued presence on the dance floor, many of our guests had no idea there was even a videographer there.

We cannot wait to see what James and Laura put together for us, and would highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking for an authentic and special film to capture their big day. They really were an absolute pleasure to work with.
