This review is long overdue! I cannot thank Baby Blue Film enough for making our dream wedding come to life through video. As our first-year anniversary approaches, we are so happy to have the ability to re-watch the best day of our life! Joey was our videography and he was more than amazing. He made us feel comfortable on film, listened to our requests, and made sure to capture all the important moments. He even made sure to schedule a phone call prior to the wedding to make sure he captured our vision. Wilson was also so easy to communicate with, very professional, and super responsive. Both videographers captured and edited in a very artistic style that sets them apart from any other videographer group I’ve seen. We are beyond thankful to have found them to video our wedding day!

Megan and I know Simon and Sarah from our church, back when they were still living in Massachusetts. Simon and I used to play on the same worship band. During our conversations, I mentioned that I loved photography and hoped to get into wedding photography someday to help capture special moments for couples on their big day. As time went on, I had the opportunity to work with Simon and Sarah at a few weddings. When I started planning our engagement, I instantly knew how much it would mean if Simon and Sarah could take our engagement photos and capture our wedding day. On the day of the proposal, they made everything feel so seamless. We began with what felt like a casual photoshoot, slowly working our way toward the waterfront, with the sea and the Portland Head Light in the background. They kept everything so calm and natural, never giving away a hint that a proposal was about to happen, all while helping pull off an incredible surprise. When we received our engagement photos, we were over the moon. We loved the warmth and coziness they captured in early December. From that moment until our wedding in June 2025, those photos filled us with excitement about how our wedding would look. Throughout our engagement shoot and on the day of the wedding, Simon and Sarah supported us with preparations and helped us find the perfect locations for photos. My wife and I haven’t had much experience being professionally photographed, but they made everything so easy and helped us feel completely natural. They turned all our awkwardness into moments full of laughter and fun. When we received our sneak peek photos and video teaser, we were stunned by how perfectly they captured our day through their lens. What stayed with us most was how beautifully Simon and Sarah told the story of our day. They didn’t just take photos — they noticed the moments we didn’t even realize were happening. The way our families laughed together, the little glances Megan and I shared, the joy on our friends’ faces — they preserved it all with such intention and care. Their presence was calm, reassuring, and genuinely uplifting. You can feel their kindness in the way they work. Instead of posing us into something unnatural, they created an atmosphere where we could simply be ourselves, and the results show it. Simon and Sarah didn’t just photograph our wedding — they poured their heart and talent into every moment. Their calm guidance and creative eye made us feel supported in ways we’ll never forget. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better team to preserve our day.

Our experience with Mike + Rising Moon Films was nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning Mike was responsive, engaged and wonderful to work with. He made sure he confirmed the wedding timeline multiple times and discussed certain shots we wanted. When wedding day came I knew I had nothing to worry about with Mike and his team. They were on time, professional, and our biggest fans! We had such a fun time and felt totally comfortable in front of the camera (which was my husband’s biggest fear). Then when my Instagram reel came? WOW. I’ve watched it at least 100 times and love it more each time. I would 100% recommend hiring Mike for your special day!

Petr did a wonderful job on our wedding video. We were thrilled with the final product and the rate he charges is extremely reasonable. I would heartily recommend him to anyone needing a videographer for a wedding or other event in Maine.

Working with James was one of the best choices we made when planning our wedding. His work is amazing and we could not be happier with the finished film. He is talented, kind, responsive, helpful, and just as his website advertises...a total wedding ninja. We barely noticed his presence all day and yet he still managed to capture all of the special moments and put them together in a way that would make a stranger cry about the power of love. We had our video in less than 2 months following our wedding, which is an insanely fast turn around for this type of project, and the quality is unbelievable. If I ever come across another event in life that it is socially acceptable to hire a videographer to document...James will be my guy!

We could not be more happy with our decision to work with Alice for our July 2021 wedding on Peaks Island in Portland. She is so warm and made us feel comfortable right away, and she was incredibly organized and responsive throughout the planning process. We also genuinely enjoyed her company on the day, and that allowed us to be ourselves and interact naturally even though we were on camera. Her second shooter, Molly, is also wonderful and friendly, but we hardly saw her - she is a super skilled ninja! So many times we would be enjoying ourselves and totally immersed in the moment, and just barely notice her out of the corner our eye catching all of those special details without intruding at all. The edited product is a beautiful memory that brings us right back to the feeling of the day, and everyone who sees it can’t help tearing up! We only wish we had splurged on a few more hours. I’d encourage anyone to book this team, and to make as much room in your budget as possible to have them with you from beginning to end - it really is the part of the experience that can stay with you forever! Thank you a million times to Alice and Molly!

A wedding video was on our "most wanted" list the moment we became engaged. We took a long time reviewing different videographers before finally choosing Navadise Media and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Casey was so fun to work with. When Covid forced us to move our day to a backyard setting, Casey was flexible and willing to do whatever we needed him to do. He truly captured the most beautiful moments of our day, and we are so thrilled with the final video. We know we'll be watching it hundreds of times in the years to come! Thank you Navadise Media for all you did for us!

As an LGBTQ couple, we needed to make sure that we hired vendors who were not just “OK” with our love, but were 100% accepting and affirming. I found Rachel and hired her to do our engagement photos after extensive research on photographers and videographers on WeddingWire, various directories and on Instagram. Rachel has an amazing way of capturing your emotions and not interfering with the natural reaction you have. We don’t like having our pictures taken, but we hardly even knew Rachel was with us when she took our photos at 5 AM on the beach. I also hired her for her beautiful videography edits and I do not regret it at all. It was probably the best decision of the entire wedding to have Rachel and her partner, Annie do photo and videography. I will probably update this review, when I have better words, but if you are looking for photos that capture the essence of your day, the feelings you have, the vibes, intimate, romantic, cozy, emotional… You need to hire her right now. We cried, watching our videos, and even some of the pictures. We consider Rachel and Annie to be friends now and they blended in with our friends and family so well. Could not recommend Rachel enough!! Hire her and you will be so happy!! Especially as an LGBTQ couple, she is safe and creates a comfortable environment for you to be yourself in. Definitely my favorite LGBTQ friendly photographer. Thank you so much Rachel, you made a difficult day worth it. so many of my pictures are such beautiful moments captured in time, and I can’t thank you enough for your hospitality, and your kindness and support throughout.
