Our experience with Mike + Rising Moon Films was nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning Mike was responsive, engaged and wonderful to work with. He made sure he confirmed the wedding timeline multiple times and discussed certain shots we wanted. When wedding day came I knew I had nothing to worry about with Mike and his team. They were on time, professional, and our biggest fans! We had such a fun time and felt totally comfortable in front of the camera (which was my husband’s biggest fear). Then when my Instagram reel came? WOW. I’ve watched it at least 100 times and love it more each time. I would 100% recommend hiring Mike for your special day!

My husband and I booked Mike/Rising Moon Films for our June 2022 wedding. Mike was amazing to work with! He sends out questionnaires and has conversations with you before your wedding day, making sure everyone is on the same page. On the actual wedding day, he was super easy-going/laidback and hustled to get every shot without being in the way at all. I had so many people tell me how hard he was working to get the perfect shots. He is also just a super kind person. When we actually got our wedding video(s) back, we were so so in love with them (highlight video and then ceremony & reception footage). The quality was superb and we will truly cherish the videos forever and ever. Where to begin! Rising Moon Films was truly a dream of a partner to work with. From day one Mike worked with my husband and me on a package that fit exactly what we wanted. We asked for a short film of the entire day, but also full footage of our ceremony, vows and toasts. We knew the day would be a little bit of a blur and that we would want to be able to relive those moments again. We had always said we only wanted video footage for the two of us to re-watch, but after receiving our film we couldn’t wait to share it with everyone we knew! It was that good. Mike was easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding and delivered the most unbelievable product. We hate forced photos, or staged moments, but our entire video feels candid and true to us. Mike did an incredible job capturing organic moments between my husband and I and our guests. He managed to include a perfect mix of the big and little moments – basically everything we would have wanted if we were able to do it ourselves. He even made a small addition to the final film at our request, which we are so appreciative of! Whenever we watch our video the emotion comes flooding back and you can really feel all of the love from the day. It’s more beautiful than we could have ever imagined, and we feel so lucky to be able to relieve our day whenever we want. If you’re looking for a videographer to capture your wedding moments in a classic, natural and over-the-top beautiful way then Mike is 100% your guy.

Mike really went above and beyond to capture the vision of our wedding day. Our stellar planner had tried to convince us that a video was something we would want and we were hesitant time and time again. In seeing just the preliminary moments of Mike's work, we are 100% glad we listened. We had a small ceremony on a Friday with a bigger reception the following day. Mike was able to capture the exact moments we wanted and piece them together beautifully, to then be shown to our night two guests. This element really made everyone feel like they were a part of it while preserving the intimacy for us. Mike is without a doubt, an expert at his craft and a warm presence to have around. Anyone who has the pleasure to work with Mike is truly lucky.

We could not have been more please with Mike from Rising Moon Films. He was incredibly flexible by fitting us in last minute! Mike was personable, responsive and very flexible by accomodating our budget and timeline. He produced high quality footage (and was able to man 3 cameras himself!), and went above and beyond by showing up early to film more than we expected. The turn-around time was very fast and we were so happy to have our special day on film (I would highly recommend this for everyone!). On top of everything Mike had already done for us, he surprised us with a highlight film of our wedding. He showed the "love story" video he made of us at our rehearsal dinner and it totally amazed all our friends and family and even brought many of them to tears! He was very professional on our wedding day and he ran around constantly the whole day, he appeared to be the hardest working vendor there! Speechless. We absolutely love the trailer & film from our wedding this past summer. Mike went above & beyond and not only captured our every request - footage of our ceremony, toasts, & special dances - but produced the most high quality, beautifully edited wedding film we have ever seen. He worked with us and was accomodating to our original postponement from 2020, flexible with our budget, and easy to communicate and work with. We received our film last week, and we've watched it countless times. Our family & friends are so thankful that Mike captured so many special moments, on a day that seemed like such a blur, and on which many of our loved ones had to stay home for due to the pandemic. On top of all that, Mike has also made the raw footage he filmed that day available for us to purchase - something I never imagined I would be able to see! We are so fortunate to have been able to work with Mike on our special day, and highly recommend.
