The Holiday Inn at the Inner Harbor was great to work with and very accommodating. Melvin and his team were easy to contact and always stayed on top of things for our room block. They even added on a last minute guest to the room block price! You do have to pay for parking, but that is required at any hotel downtown. I would highly recommend them and plan on staying there again if I ever need a hotel in downtown Baltimore.

Poor Communication and Poor Value
The number one issue I had with Holiday Inner Harbor was communication. The initial contract discussions and adjustments to what we needed was pretty straight forward and easy, the hotel was fairly conveniently located, and some of the staff was friendly.
However, when I had an issue with one of my guests hotel rooms, communication became poor and generally uninformative. Midway through attempting to suss out what had happened to their reservation my point of contact went on vacation without telling me and without providing any sort of back up.
The reservation in question, as it turns out, was cancelled by someone from the hotel. No on directed them to do this. No one at the hotel could figure this out until the guest called to re-book the room. There was never any communication that the reservation had been cancelled before that.
When booking rooms online, the user interface was not exactly user friendly. There were issues with some guests not properly being coded as part of our group. These issues were resolved, but I practically had to send over my entire guest list to figure out who had or hadn't made a reservation.
Of the rooms that were booked, many guests, including myself, booked a room with either a king size bed, or two queens, and were checked into the opposite. I had one guest who had to book a room for one night with a king bed and two queens for the remaining two nights. When they checked in, only one reservation was on file but they were "magically" able to fit her in for the other two nights.
For check in, we had baseball tickets that were to be handed out to people checking in. There were several guests who did not receive their baseball tickets. This was a minor inconvenience as we were able to get everyone who needed a ticket to the game. But it is endemic of the lack of attention to detail.
As I started writing this review I felt like the hotel was probably average in quality and value. But the myriad issues put all together in one space proves otherwise. I would not book here again. I would not recommend booking here. There were other hotels with similar prices that could have accommodated us and likely would not have been such a disaster.
