Having originally thought we wouldn’t require a wedding planner for an intimate and more casual event, I am SO happy we hired Elizabeth Carberry and her team to help us plan our wedding. Elizabeth and her team are true experts, they know the world of wedding planning, they know the vendors, and they were able to honor our requests and vision while also making valuable suggestions in order for us to achieve the day of our dreams. Elizabeth and her team were professional, communicative, and passionate about their work. They have great taste and also honored our budget. I felt confident and calm on the day of our wedding knowing that we were in good hands. It gave us great peace of mind to have such a wonderful support system in them and helped us to focus on each other and having fun in the moment, enjoying every second of the day, and we were able to leave the details and logistics to Elizabeth and her team. We were so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Elizabeth and would choose her and her team over and over again, some of the best money ever spent!

Khanh. Is. Magic. As our day of coordinator, she exceeded every possible expectation. She is so smart, communicative, kind, and clear. From the first call to the clean up, she helped us execute (and improve) upon our vision. In the debriefs after, multiple friends and family reflecting on the day said “Khanh was wonderful.” We would follow this woman into battle. If you have the opportunity to work with Khanh, run, don’t walk. Working with her was the best decision we made. We loved our wedding day, and she made it even more beautiful than we dreamed.

We love working with Elizabeth and her team as they are so responsive and easy to coordinate with! They’ve helped plan several events here at Fathom Gallery and each one was perfect. They make every event so smooth, easy, and stress free and we love collaborating with them!

My (now husband) and I cannot recommend Elizabeth enough for wedding planning & month of coordination (including day-of management) services. We both work long hours and decided that her partial planning service was the best fit for us. When I tell you that our only regret was not finding and signing a contract with Elizabeth sooner, I mean it. We met with at least 6 other planners and no one offered the exceptional level of service and expertise across literally all aspects of the wedding planning and coordination process -- from design and aesthetic (invitations, menu, ceremony, reception, etc.), vendor introductions & management, budgeting, event setup, & month/day of logistics -- absolutely incredible.

Life threw my husband and I a LOT of curveballs the week leading up to our wedding - none of which we, nor Elizabeth, could have anticipated. There were multiple times we thought our wedding might not even happen and, I can tell you, without Elizabeth, it very well may not have. Moreover, she and her team didn't just "pull it off." Our wedding day was the most beautiful day we could have ever imagined - exactly what we hoped for and more. Biased as we are, over a month later we're still getting that same feedback from all of our family and friends.

When there was a downpour just 20 minutes before our OUTDOOR ceremony was scheduled to start (followed by outdoor cocktail hour), Elizabeth and her team pivoted in literally less than 20 minutes to create the most romantic and intimate indoor ceremony site (AND separate indoor cocktail hour location) for us. Our guests had NO idea that it wasn't our "Plan A," and honestly - we forgot too.

If anyone has had the patience to read this far into this review, know that the intangibles you get when you work with Elizabeth are equally, if not more, valuable than the services outlined in any contract. I don't say this lightly. She truly radiates passion for her craft and sincere dedication to her couples every step of the way. Insert all "above and beyond" clichés here - Elizabeth is the best.

Choosing Elizabeth Carberry as our wedding planner was the best decision I made during the whole process. I look back at the wedding planning and honestly miss it all because of her. She does so much more than just being the planner. She is also your friend, stylist, therapist, bodyguard, and all the things you didn't know you needed. I'm so thankful for her because she shut out all the noise and difficulties of wedding planning and made it the best experience. I wish I could get married again just so that I can work with her!! She will be a friend for life.

Elizabeth exceeded our expectations! I simply do not know how we would have planned our big day without her. I was very busy with work during peak planning and Elizabeth took the stress off of our shoulders and we only had to worry about the fun things. I had a very particular aesthetic in mind and Elizabeth understood my vision and I trusted her opinion 100%. We ended up having quite bad weather on our big day and Elizabeth and her team were so quick to pivot and make sure everything was still beautiful! So thankful for her and her team, my husband and I would recommend her to all of our friends and family in the DMV.
