Paperboys is a boutique wedding film/photo agency located on the ‘skirtz of Washington D.C. We started down this regal road in 2014 and we have the mountain of harddrives to prove it! We’re a collaborative team of filmmakers and photographers who live for making amazing things for the world’s most friggin’ amazing couples.
When we started this business on a wing and a prayer, we quickly realized that working alone is not a ton of fun - some would say, it’s for the birds. So, we grew our team and that’s when things really started to come to life. It turns out, having a bunch of incredibly talented creatives with film degrees is better than a lonely brooding artist… not that I (Simon) would know anything about that…
What makes us unique? Simple, it’s our dedication to the craft. Each of our team members are full-time staff, each with a heart to collaborate, to learn, and to produce the best work possible. It’s this spirit of collaboration and sharpening each other that has made our films and photo galleries better and better with each passing season.
But even as our films evolve, each one still possesses that Paperboys spark, which inspired this whole endeavor - a passion for breathtaking cinematic imagery, and for storytelling that, hopefully, moves the soul.

Paperboys is THE BEST!
For our photography we worked with Daniel, he is incredibly professional, talented and easy going. We aren’t great with knowing how to pose and he guided us effortlessly. I think it’s important to feel comfortable around your photographer & he does just that - really made it about us and feel supported through the entire process. He did our pre wedding shoot with us in NYC and recommended some great options, he was was with us for 3 wedding events. He went above and beyond for us all weekend.
Sal was our videographer & he is incredible, easy going & he really knows what he’s doing - how to capture the best angles. We were really looking for our video content to “feel like a story” while capturing the best moments of the weekend, & he delivered. Our same day edit was amazing, it was put together so well in such a short time.
Both Daniel and Sal were involved with our wedding where their creativity really showed. Both of them were professional, on time, respectful to the South Asian rituals, but at the same time able to get the shots they needed. We HIGHLY recommend paperboys!
