Working with Compass Studios was one of the best wedding-planning decisions we made, and we would recommend them to anyone. Katie was flexible, responsive, and very easy to work with every step of the way. She also went above and beyond to accommodate our sparkler exit without us having to add on additional time, which she did not have to do but we really appreciated. On the wedding day, hanging out with Katie and Ryan felt like spending time with our friends, which is such an important part of choosing a photographer. And last but certainly not least, our photos and video turned out STUNNING, and we got them in record time. If we could do it all over again, we would choose Compass every time.

Compass came recommended as a preferred vendor for videography and after working with them, it’s no wonder why! Katie is quick on the administrative tasks and explaining options, and Ryan beautifully captured our microwedding. We were given the opportunity to request edits to our wedding video, which we received ahead of schedule, but it was so beautifully done we didn’t need to change a thing. We’re looking forward to watching our ceremony every year on our anniversary and are so grateful for all the footage we received. 10/10!

Andrew was our videographer and he did a GREAT job! We were able to get raw footage, getting ready footage, and the highlight video. It was the perfect way to capture our day! I would highly recommend using Compass and getting the wedding video as another way to capture your special day!

I knew they were going to be the best right away during my introduction call with Katie. She was so down to earth and wonderful to bounce ideas off of - from deciding where to shoot the engagement session, down to the detailed timeline, she was more instrumental in planning than our coordinator. Throughout the whole planning process, she was so responsive and helpful, and made such a difference!

I knew that I was going to love their style after the engagement session - she helped us relax but gave the right amount of direction we needed - it was such a fun time that I'll always look back on. For our wedding day, it was extremely windy which made me feel flustered at first- but Katie and Ryan melted away the stress just by their presence - they were so calm and collected while finding creative ways to get the right shots. The photographs are absolutely stunning—every moment was captured beautifully, with such attention to detail and artistry. I was especially impressed by the photos from the reception dance floor - their quality was amazing and truly captured the energy of everyone being on the dance floor the entire time!!! They didn’t just take pictures; they told the story of our day in the most elegant and heartfelt way. Lastly, they went out of their way to send so many sneak peak photos just after 2 DAYS!! It's so clear how much they genuinely care about you even after the big day.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Katie and Ryan capture our wedding this past September. It rained on our day and my nerves were a wreck, but they were calm, patient, and so comforting. I had a long list of photos I wanted on the property, and even with the weather challenges, Katie and Ryan managed to capture everything and more!

They were incredibly communicative, fun to work with, and somehow organized the chaos around us with complete calmness. Throughout the night, they even checked in to make sure we got those extra special dance floor shots we’ll cherish forever.

We worked with Compass Photography for our wedding and are absolutely thrilled with the photos we've received. Part of our package included an engagement photoshoot which we very much enjoyed even though everyone already knew we were engaged. On the day of, Katie and Julie were there making sure we got fantastic shots of every major step of our wedding as well as of our very large family. We definitely would recommend you work with them for your wedding or any special event.

At first we weren't even thinking about a wedding videographer with our tiny wedding of just immediate family. However after seeing them as a reccommended vendor with our wedding planner I visited their website, which I found all the information I needed to make a decision, it was also beautiful, easy to navigate, had pricing, and how to's. Katie was quick to respond with everything in the process, booking was easy and any questions answered. Our videographer for the day felt like a relative there just recording-Chris was great and we were lucky that he spoke Spanish for one of our family members who did not speak English. When I say the video was more than we expected for what we were anticipating. And loved we got to keep the raw footage. We did end up doing one small edit, because the video was edited so well. The delivery of the videos, communication, expectaions were all exceeded. Cant thank them enough for memorializing this moment forever for us.

Everyone we worked with at Compass was fantastic! Katie was so great and responsive to all our questions! The associate team was so great to work with! We loved working with Katherine for our engagement photos and wedding photos! We were hesitant to do an engagement shoot because we don’t really like being photographed, but Katherine made it fun! And we LOVE having the video - the highlight video is just beautiful!

We had a wonderful experience working with Katie & Ryan and were fortunate to have Ryan himself there to film our wedding. He was extremely professional and worked wonders alongside our photographer. We got our full videos back very quickly and were so so excited to share them with our friends and family. The editing and quality was top notch and we couldn't be happier with the end product. I'd say it's worth getting the lav mic option if you are planning to share anything personal (vows, reading, etc.) during the ceremony.
