The Absolute Best Photographers & Videographers

I hired Paperboys for my daughter's wedding in Washington, DC April 2023. This was the best decision I made. From the beginning of the process, they were wonderful, responsive, answered all questions. They worked with my daughter and son-in-law to ensure they knew the vision they had for their wedding. The day of the wedding, went perfectly. They were there on time, made the whole process enjoyable and fun. You knew you had photographers and a videographer there but they were never in the way. I highly recommend them and thank them for the beautiful work they did.

Amazing!!!

Do yourself a huge favor and book Paperboys for your wedding!!! I cannot recommend them enough -- my husband and I were over the moon happy with our wedding videos, and we can't wait to watch them for years to come! Paperboys really captured "us" as a couple versus a one-size-fits-all approach to wedding highlight videos. From start to finish, Paperboys was professional, thoughtful, and so easy to work with!

Having a videographer at our wedding was a last minute decision but Simon still made sure he met and communicated clearly with us to ensure he knew what we were looking for. He was very professional and made the "interview" part of our video fun and easy! He finished the video quickly, which was great because we were able to show it to family members at Christmas. I am SO glad we decided to have a videographer at our wedding and even MORE glad we had Simon do it! The video was beautiful and depicted our story and the details of our wedding perfectly. Simon created something that we will be able to cherish for the rest of our lives.

Stop reading now and hire Simon! To say Simon was the best videographer ever would be an UNDERSTATEMENT! He and his wife could not have been more caring, professional, sincere, and courteous. Simon met with us in person, walked us through how he would operate, set clear expectations, and over delivered on EVERYTHING. The video we got was OUTSTANDING. His cinematic and beautiful shots left me speechless.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Paperboys Wedding Photography and Videography! From the very beginning, Nate, our lead photographer, was incredible—from the moment we started our engagement photoshoot to capturing every special moment of our wedding and reception with care and creativity. Laura, our lead videographer, was amazing and brought such a beautiful cinematic touch to every scene! A huge thank you to Jonny as well, who poured so much heart into our wedding highlight film and didn’t stop until it was absolutely perfect. If we could rate Simon 1000.0 we would in a heartbeat!! He is as amazing of a person as he is a videographer! He was very responsive and professional throughout the entire process. He made us feel so comfortable throughout the day. We were so lucky to have found him and even luckier to have made a lifelong friend throughout the crazy wedding planning process. Phenomenal wedding videography team!!

We couldn’t have imagined a better video team for our wedding! Right off the bat, our initial conversation with Jordan and further contracting questions with Matt were helpful and friendly; they were quick to answer questions we had and generally just fun to chat with. When we met with Logan (our videographer), it was the exact same, and on our wedding day he was amazing! He was friendly and fun to be around all day, and captured everything we could have wanted. Both our teaser and full highlight reels were stunning - we both teared up watching them and all of our family were shocked at how much he was able to capture. All that to say - thanks so much to Logan & the Paperboys team for a perfect wedding video!!

More than a video, a work of art!

The Paperboys create more than a wedding video. They create a work of art that my husband and our families will cherish forever. Trust in their talent and give them permission to take whatever shots they need and use whatever music they think is best and you will be blown away by the final product. Logistically, Jordan and Raul were exceptionally easy and fun to work with the day of our wedding and you barely even realized they were there! Yet, they captured every beautiful moment and gave our wedding "life" that photos simply can't. And they are kind. When my grandfather passed shortly after the wedding, I asked the Paperboys to please be sure to find extra footage of my grandfather to include in our video. They did and I cannot express how much that meant to me and my family. P.S. If you can, go for the full package with the 15-20 minute feature documentary AND highlight reel . . . the highlight reel is great but the 15-20 minute feature film is next-level fantastic. Thank you, Paperboys!

Paperboys IS THE BEST PHOTO/VIDEO team to work with!!

Paperboys were the best photographer and videographer team we could ask for! They first caught my attention during our friends' wedding back in 2022 when I was in the bridal party. I immediately noticed how meticulous they were with capturing the small details, while also making the bride and groom feel very comfortable. The pictures came out and I was in love - I KNEW I had to book them for my wedding. They were very communicative with sending out the contract details and final schedule before the wedding. During the actual weekend itself, Yana and the team were so great to work with! I had told Yana that both my husband and I aren't the most comfortable in front of a camera and we're not very photogenic. She made it so comfortable and easy for us! When I asked her for certain poses or photos, she was very patient with us and took her time taking as many photos as possible. Our photos came out BEAUTIFUL! We loved them so much and so did our family. I highly recommend booking Paperboys as their work is impeccable, their prices are fair, and the whole team is so great and fun to work with!

Beautiful photography

Our experience with Paperboys was unparalleled. Not only did we have amazing documentation of our wedding day, we also had from the start a dream team that was organized, communicative, and truly made the night that much more special. John, the lead photographer, was beyond amazing. Their creative vision for our photography was everything we wanted, and the energy they brought to the day made us so comfortable, even though neither of us generally like getting our photos taken.

You won’t regret hiring Paperboys for your wedding. 11/10 must hire!

The absolute best

Choosing Paperboys to do our wedding videography was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the initial phone call with Simon to wedding day with Jordan and V we could not be any happier with how everything played out. Any initial questions we had were addressed immediately and by the end of the day we felt like we had new friends instead of vendors. The "highlight reel" finished product blew us away and it felt like we were watching a movie trailer about our big day. Amazingly talented people and don't see how any one could be better at what they do. Highly recommend, go book them!

Simon is a freaking genius. From the first time I sent him an email all the way through the production of our highlight clip, he was responsive, professional, and just an expert at what he does. He captured shots that I did not even know were possible, nor did I see him taking. Simon is a tall dude (over 6'2 easily) and has a big camera and still managed to almost seem invisible throughout the night all while capturing our favorite moments and minute details. In hindsight, I wish I had booked his assistant also, no knock on his work or capabilities, but he just could not be in 2 places at once, which meant that the groom and the groomsmen getting ready was not captured. That is my only regret and it was a personal decision, again not a Simon thing. If you are debating whether or not you "need" a videographer, just stop and book Simon because he helps you relive the entire day, which will go by like a whirlwind. Simon is the BOMB!

We love Paperboys!

We love every second of our wedding video! Production was done with such superior quality. Josh and team were also super easy and fun to work with before and on wedding day. In particular, Josh and team made sure to get the dream shot that we wanted, even though it means shooting in 90 degree heat! Josh and team really made our wedding a memory of our lifetime. Best decision we made!

Being a COVID wedding was stressful but they made this transition so easy. They were incredible to work with for our intimate ceremony that we livestreamed for my elderly grandmother who couldn't attend and then our wedding in 2021. The highlight video and entire film just feels like a movie. They were so easy to work with and have amazing packages!! Truly stop looking for a videography they are who you NEED!!!

Most Amazing Videography Team Ever. Worth every penny!

My husband and I loved the portfolio of this dream team and they were super professional, responsive, and kind leading up to the wedding, but they surpassed ALL expectations day of. Not only did they do anything and everything videography related, they were helpful with so many other things like fanning us in the blistering heat and helping out the photographers - they were complete utility players who had an amazing and helpful attitude all day long that went so far above and beyond their job description. In the end, they captured incredible footage and created a highlight film that allows us to relive our day every time we watch it. It is AMAZING. So many friends and family have also told us it is the best wedding video they've ever seen - it's truly a cinematic production! The entire portfolio is simply beautiful. I cannot wait to show them to my future children and continue to relive our special day whenever I'm feeling blue. If you're on the fence about whether or not to hire this team, DO IT. THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY. Simon and Jordan were so easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable right from the start and it felt like I had two of my closest friends by my side throughout the day. We had a long day with two ceremonies and a reception and Simon and Jordan were able to get all of it! There were so many beautiful moments captured that we weren't even aware of because of all the excitement going on around us. Our video came out beautiful and better than we could have imagined. All of our friends and family loved re-living the day every time it was viewed and we received so many compliments on it. Simon and Jordan were patient, fun, had great energy and were very professional.

There are not enough words to truly explain how wonderful this team is! My husband and I came across their work for so many of our friends weddings and everything always turned out so magical. What took them over the top was how friendly and kind they were on the single most important day of your life! Things are stressful and you want to make sure everything turns out ok, and they weren't in the way and were in fact very helpful in reminding my husband and I that this day is ours and to relax and enjoy it! The best videographer team you could dream of!

Just wow!!!

Absolutely incredible team from start to finish. We had hired paperboys to be the videographers for our Maryland wedding we had originally planned during the pandemic but we unfortunately had to cancel. They were graceful enough to even give us our deposit back when we made the devastating decision to postpone and they were so kind and understanding during that time. 3 years later, we finally get a new wedding date but we’d moved to Jersey City by that point. We were so excited to have them for our first wedding that we reached out to them again to see if they were free and thank God they were - they traveled to NJ for our new wedding date. And the excitement we received from them to still be part of our new day was so heart warming. And from then, the team was so organized, prompt and reliable in their communication. Always full of enthusiasm with every email, it definitely stood out how sweet they always were. And the wedding day hadn’t even begun yet.

Then we got blessed with Laura as our videographer for the wedding. Right from the start of talking with Laura, she was so lovely and polite and again equally as enthusiastic to work with us. She arrived early to set up and got straight to work. She worked so seamlessly alongside our photography team also to get the best shots of us. She made us feel very comfortable throughout the day to get those real candid moments and would even cheer us on when she caught a good shot. Then the teaser video that came out a few days later and wow. We cannot stop replaying it, it was just spectacular. It captured the fire of the day perfectly and made us feel like movie stars. We could not be more excited to see how the final video turns out when she’s done. We are beyond grateful and blessed to have had this amazing team to be the videographers for our day. I could not recommend this team more to anyone’s upcoming wedding, especially if Laura is your chosen videographer! We love you guys!

Worth every penny!

We are beyond thrilled with the experience we had with Issac from Paperboys Wedding Videography & Photography! From start to finish Issac was incredible to work with. Communication was effortless and seamless—he made sure all of our questions were answered and every detail was covered which made us feel completely at ease leading up to the big day. Especially when our venue canceled on us 5 weeks and we had to re-plan the whole wedding.

On our wedding day Issac was such a natural part of the celebration. He blended in so effortlessly with our guests that it honestly felt like he was just another friend there capturing the moments. His presence was professional yet friendly, and he brought a calm and positive energy that was so appreciated amidst the chaos of wedding planning.

When we received our highlight and full-length videos, we were absolutely blown away. The quality and emotion captured were beyond our expectations. Even with a small audio issue during our vows, Issac worked his magic with editing, and the final product made it seem like there was never any issue at all. As someone who previously worked in freelance wedding video/photography work I was VERY happy with the whole process. We also received all the raw footage, which was completely worth it. There were so many beautiful and candid moments captured that we never even realized were happening, and having that footage to relive is priceless.
We couldn’t be more grateful to Issac and Paperboys for the outstanding work they did. The videos are something we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives, and it was absolutely worth every penny!!!!

Great wedding photos and video!

The Paperboys team was an essential part of our wedding weekend. First and perhaps most importantly, Robbie and Jonny were a pleasure to have around for the wedding weekend which was important since we spent a lot of time together! Beyond that, they gave us helpful cues to get shots that we ended up loving and generally helped us to feel comfortable having our photos taken. We also did our engagement shoot with Robbie which was great as well!

We spent a lot of time working with Robbie on planning out how to work photos into our schedule for the day appropriately. Robbie was very available to meet with us over videochat to talk things through, and super flexible with figuring out how to make the photography/videography plans work with what we envisioned for the weekend.

We met with a few different wedding photographers/videographers and found the Paperboys team to be really great to work with and we were extremely happy with the final products. Thank you Paperboys!

Considering a videographer? Do it! And pick these guys!

Getting married during a pandemic meant that our guest list was intimate. Like 10 guests intimate. One of our best decisions was hiring Paperboys to capture our day in video. It wasn't safe for my husband's grandfather to attend, but getting to share the ceremony and highlight reel with him after the fact was priceless. Jordan was attentive, but not intrusive, professional, yet adept at putting us at ease with his humor. He worked seamlessly with our photographer (Nichole Haun) to make sure they were each able to get the perfect shot. We watch our videos over and over again, blown away with the quality and artistic touch. Overwhelmingly, the reactions from our friends and family are "WOW". We chose the trailer, highlight reel, and full ceremony. If you're on the fence about hiring a videographer- it's so worth it. And the Paperboys are the best in the game.

Just hire them, you won't regret it

John, Sal, Drew and Jonah were truly the A team. If you have a husband who doesn’t know how to pose or know what to do with his hands, these guys are the right photographers and videographers for you. They’ll give you ideas for different types of pictures and clear directions for poses while also giving you space to express your natural personality so that they can fully capture your wedding day. They’re really efficient and had multiple people shooting and filming simultaneously to get various angles. They work well as a team to get all the pictures and videos you want while making sure you’re still on schedule throughout the day. One pleasant surprise that we didn’t expect (but makes sense) is that they’ll provide lighting for main events like the dances, speeches, cake cutting, etc. when it gets darker in the evening. You can tell that they’re masters of their craft when you see John dancing to the Cupid Shuffle while holding a lighting pole and camera. Also can’t write this review without giving a shoutout to Jonah. We had a mishap when one of the groomsmen’s ties came in the wrong color, but Jonah let him borrow his tie for the evening because it happened to match the rest of the groomsmen. What a true gentleman! And even better, he rocked the tie that came in the wrong color the whole night! If your wedding is anything like ours, they’ll capture moments that you would have otherwise missed entirely since you can’t be everywhere at once. The Paperboys will bring such a friendly attitude that it makes it easy to smile for the hundreds of amazing pictures they’ll edit and send to you so you can remember and reminisce for years to come.

Having a videographer was just a "nice to have" for us, as we were working with a tight budget and did not want to cut back on photographer costs. I am so glad ended up with Simon!! He worked with us to meet our budgetary needs and provided AMAZING service. He was so fun to work with and is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met. The short video he produced was done so quickly and could not have been more perfect. He also provided us with DVDs that had personalized cases and an easy to navigate menu where we could watch the short video, the ceremony or any of the speeches. I highly highly recommend hiring him!

Paperboys did such a fantastic job! First of all, Simon was one of the kindest vendors to work - so easy going and willing to work with our tight budget. Simon provided us with a sneak peek video just a few days after our wedding which was such a great surprise. We just got our wedding highlight film and ceremony and reception footage last week and cannot rave enough about the quality and attention to detail. We would recommend Paperboys again and again!

Simon did a fantastic job providing video coverage of our June 2016 wedding in Baltimore City, MD. We decided to book Simon after interviewing several videographers and we could not have been more pleased with our choice. Simon delivered a stunning highlight video and we are certain the rest of the footage will be great too. He responds promptly to emails and was a pleasure to work with on the wedding day. We never felt like the videographer was "in our face" or in the face of our guests - which was a key factor in our decision to get a videographer. The second shooter was equally pleasant and professional. I am so grateful for the beautiful images Simon captured and would absolutely recommend couples book him if he is available!

The Very Best

Our experience with Paperboys was perfection. Not only did they bring unparalleled creative vision to our film and photography, they were also our biggest cheerleaders on our wedding day and during our engagement photos. Somehow, they have managed to assemble a team of artistic geniuses, who must also meet the criteria of being bundles of joy -- absolutely critical on a stressful wedding day. Memories for a Lifetime

We had the pleasure of having two weddings within 90 days. Luckily our daughter-in-law contacted Paperboys to capture their wedding. We then asked Jordan to film our daughter's wedding a few months later. We now how the most fantastic set of memories for both weddings. Still photos are great, but what the team at Paperboys did for each wedding was capture the essence of the day. They are truly magical, and evoke the exact same emotions from each day, every time we watch them.

Without question, we without reservation, endorse and highly recommend Paperboys for your wedding. Why spend the extra cash on food/drink when you could capture for eternity the feelings and emotions from that day. Thank you Paperboys!

Stunning work & incredible experience

Paperboys did both our photography (Nate) and videography (Jordan) for our wedding. The quality of their work is truly outstanding. The deliverables we received have far exceeded our expectations. All our family has been blown away from the teaser/highlight videos as well.
The day before our first wedding event, we got a call from Jordan (head of videography) to let us know that he would be stepping in since our original videographer had suffered an injury. He was immediately caught up on all our pre-event notes and stepped in effortlessly.
During the wedding weekend, the team kept the energy going and mood positive which really kept me from getting stressed.
By the time Nate and Jordan departed from our reception, it was with hugs of goodbye because we were sad to see them go. They had really been an integral part of our wedding weekend and we were so happy for it!

My wife and I hired Paperboys to shoot our twelve-hour wedding day; simply put, Simon and Jordan were nothing short of fantastic for us. In preparing for our event, they were thorough, professional, communicative, and (above all) extremely personable – making sure to not only ask for our input, but also to get to know us as people. On the day of the wedding, Jordan and his supporting team were collaborative with our other vendors and our planner; and made sure to be as covert as possible when shooting. They were tireless throughout their twelve-hour workday. It’s also worth noting that Jordan was brimming with genuine enthusiasm and happiness for us the entire time, which only made the experience that much better.

The final product of Paperboys’ work – a highlight video, as well as full footage of our two wedding ceremonies and reception – was beyond anything we could have expected. It was professional-grade – shot beautifully, perfectly edited and compiled to capture the emotions of the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to remember the happiest event of our lives. Simon and Jordan made it all so easy for us, and the result was amazing. If you hire these guys, you’ll be happy you did!

Right off the bat, I knew I wanted to work with Simon. He was as professional as he was friendly, something we found to be unique in the wedding planning industry. While corresponded like old friends from the beginning, I also always felt like I was working with a sophisticated businessman. Simon kept in touch throughout the wedding planning process, keeping us up to date on upcoming payment deadlines, walking us through the day-of needs, and answering any and all of our questions within a matter of hours. Again, on the day of the wedding, Simon was again among the friendliest and warmest of the vendors with whom we worked, while also being unobtrusive throughout the event. The filming was pretty seamless.

Most importantly, we absolutely adore the end product. I had hesitated to get a wedding film because, to me, they can be awkward and dry and not great quality. Simon's film was anything but. We collaborated with him to pick a song choice, and he edited together truly stunning video of our wedding day that my husband and I have watched and shared no less than 50 times in the two months since our wedding. I know it's something that we will continue to treasure in the coming years. I think it's safe to say that Simon was our favorite wedding vendor, both in terms of service and product. It was probably the best decision we made for our wedding.

Loved Working with Them

We worked with Paperboys as our videographer for our September wedding in DC, and they absolutely killed it! Nick and the team were amazing to work with. They were super communicative and organized throughout the whole process. They walked us through all our preferences ahead of time, which made things completely hands-off on the wedding day. They were great to have around on the day and really added to the energy of the day. We’ve only received our teaser video so far, but we already know everything will turn out incredible!

We all only have once chance to capture the day and they nailed it!
Their films have soul, it's not just a random stitching of clips together, they tell a story and capture the grace and integrity of life’s most powerful and fleeting moments.

Knowing how important video would be in the time of covid weddings, I researched every video company in the area and knew there could be no one other than Paperboys for our wedding! This team of artists are true professionals with such great hearts, spirit and energy. They were like ninjas and so unobstructive allowing us to really enjoy our day but at the same time the they were like the most fun guests of our wedding and made the experience of being on video fun! They weren't pulling us in a million directions like most videographers do.

I love that their style means our video is so unique and not like other wedding video reels that have been done over and over.

They also created a video to bring my daughter into the wedding ceremony and have everyone in absolute tears!

After so many postponements and having to finally have a mini-wedding, it was heartbreaking to not have so many of our family and friends there with us to celebrate the day. But Paperboys were amazing with helping us pivot whenever we had changes and helped us make the BEST out of every situation.

Thank you for giving us this gift to be able to share with each other for a lifetime and to share with our family and friends. I know it will be something we watch every year as we recommit to the vows we gave each other on our wedding day. Excellent people, photos, and service.

Paperboys recently provided their photography services to my wife's and my engagement shoot and wedding day, and we could not have been happier. From our initial communication with Matt - and subsequent emails and chats - to working with Aiden (our photographer for the engagement and wedding), the process was very smooth. They offered suggestions for shoot locations, were always open for questions, and took the time to talk with us regarding what we wanted, as well as worked with us to find the right arrangements regarding pricing.

Would re-book them over and over again!

Truly one of the best wedding vendors we had. After a lot of research, we went with Paperboys because we loved their style, their flexibility, and how nice they were! They did not disappoint throughout the whole wedding process. They were easy to work with (which was very important to us) and we loved the pictures/video we got in the end! There were little edits we wanted to make to our video and they were very responsive to this. There was even bonuses not included in our contract that they decided to include, which was so so kind. Our families loved them as well and it's been incredible to watch their company do so well! Would re-book with Paperboys over and over again.

It’s impossible to describe how huge and incredible a role Paperboys had in our wedding. From engagement photos, to wedding photos, to wedding video - every aspect of our wedding process was made seamless and beautiful in their hands.

On your biggest days you want people who you trust on your team and Paperboys were there with us every step of the way making us feel confident, comfortable and created phenomenal content. Matt in particular photographed our engagement and wedding and feels like family to us at this point. The whole team was so patient with us and perfectly delivered and took direction to make every moment into a lasting memory.

Even when we needed quick photo turn around due to a unexpected loss of a family member, Paperboys stepped up to quickly edit and deliver us an album of tailored photos to ease our pain and help us memorialize our loved one.

Couldn’t Recommend Enough

Justin and Nate went above and beyond for our wedding to take photos. We haven’t received our photos yet as it’s only been two days but we already know it’s going to be great because they did everything they could to get the best angles and the best shots. They were breaking their backs just to get the perfect shot during our sparkler send off! Absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the DMV area. We’re so beyond grateful to have had Logan capture our wedding weekend!! He didn’t just film the event—he told our story. The best of the best!

My husband and I could not be more thrilled with Paperboys! From the very beginning of planning until the last second of our special day, we felt supported and heard by this amazing company. We were called and asked many questions to ensure that our wishes were heard and they took every one of them and put them into our video. There was a family emergency with the videographer we were initially assigned two days before the wedding and while I thought maybe this would be chaos and stress, Paperboys seamlessly took care of it and I immediately felt relief. Jordan met with us prior to our wedding day and had all of the notes from our original videographer and we felt so at ease. Jordan and his team were prompt, kind, and hyped a couple up in just the perfect way. We got married last summer on a gorgeous but very windy day and you wouldn't know it all from our perfect video. I was amazed at the end product because all night, I didn't even see the team it felt like. They were present but not in your face and it is exactly what we wanted! Simon was amazing! From the very beginning, he was super easy to work with and very quick to respond to emails! One of our BEST wedding decisions!!

Hiring the Paperboys team is hands down one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning!! To say we are obsessed with the final product is an understatement and words don't do it justice!

I tell all our friends and family that at first, my husband didn't want a videographer, thinking it would be repetitive of our photographer or whatever his reasoning was. Now, he is the first one to show off our videos and telling everyone they need to go with Paperboys!

Jordan and the Paperboys team were truly amazing to work with from the first time we contacted them, making sure they captured all the moments we wanted and then some, and I'm only sad now that we won't be in contact or working with them as frequently. Their videos are insanely beautiful and will make your heart burst with happiness re-living your big day. Obsessed with paperboys!

We had the absolute best experience working with paperboys and couldn't recommend them more! Having a videography team at our wedding was a priority for us. We wanted to capture the EMOTION of the day and the only way to hold onto that feeling forever was through video... We looked at sooo many videographers and spoke with a handful. Once we found paperboys, it was love at first sight! We fell in love with their demos and were just praying that they'd be available on our date. The stars aligned and they were. Day of, they were awesome. Perfect mix of checking in and handling things without being in the way. Post-event, they turned around our highlight video SO FAST and they were so helpful as we finalized all of the video deliverables. They were super receptive of any feedback I had and we walked away with a suite of videos that we are truly in love with! 1000% recommend!

My husband and I agree that Simon Cook was hands-down one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding, aside from marrying each other! We were truly blown away by his work and the incredible video he created. The videography so perfectly captured the day, the emotions, our families, our friends, every small moment. It was honestly more than we thought was possible! It is so much more than a photograph or simple video could ever do. It was truly the best money we invested, and we have already watched our video over and over again! Simon captured more than we ever thought a videographer could (he even used drones!) and expertly knew which moments (and which our dearest loved ones) should be included in our highlight video. I came upon Simon after stumbling upon his wedding wire reviews while searching for a videographer. After going to his site and watching some of his highlight videos, I knew I wanted him to be our videographer. Simon was the utmost professional throughout the whole wedding process. He was always prompt with his replies, which as any bride knows is sometimes a be-all end-all, during the wedding planning process. On the wedding day, it was great to have a videographer that kept us laughing -- it helped keep some of the stress at bay. If you want a videographer that gives you a product to re-live the most beautiful moments of your wedding day, then hire Simon, because he'll do just that. Best Decision You Will Make!

Paperboys is amazing!! From my initial meeting with Jordan and Simon, everything has been smooth sailing. Their energy is great and they truly know the definition of customer service. Searching for a quality videographer can be difficult, but trust and behold, if you choose Paperboys, it will be the right choice! Jordan was the main videographer for our wedding. And believe it or not, he actually said he had fun : ) He loves his job and it definitely shines through. He was timely, and when he and his 2nd videographer arrived on my wedding day, they immediately started filming. I didn’t have to do anything. The professionalism displayed while working with him was great. He was very flexible and is also great with details. Any follow-up I had with him after the wedding was well received and he wanted to make sure I loved our film. It was a stress free experience while working with him. The quality of the film is superb, along with the timing of scenes and the way Paperboys tells your wedding story is creative. I chose Simon Cook Films after watching one of his wedding videos. I immediately fell in love! After booking him, he kept regular contact with me over the months before my wedding day. When my big day arrived I was a little late meeting him at the time we scheduled, but he was at the venue already getting footage and had already introduced himself to all of the staff. I've heard the hours leading up to the ceremony can get a little hectic for some brides, but thanks to Simon I was so calm and relaxed. He made both my bridal party and me feel so special that day! His second videographer, Jordyn, was just as amazing as he was. Those two definitely know what they are doing, I got my wedding highlight video back within six weeks and it is just SO amazing. All of my friends want him when they get married. He managed to capture every single detail and make it look perfect. I cannot begin to explain how much I recommend getting a videographer for the wedding day, and I recommend ten times that to use Simon Cook Films!

Amazing!!!!!

Working with paperboys on our wedding day was a breeze! They knew exactly how to guide us to get the most amazing shots. We felt like they captured every moment beautifully. Our video was delivered to us within the terms of our contract and was incredible!!! We love it so much and watch it probably 50 times a day. Paperboys are the BEST option for wedding videographers!

The team at Paperboys cannot be beat and they were instrumental in making our day special. From the pre-wedding coordination meetings to the delivery of the final product and everything in between, this team made sure that everything was perfect. They were such an easy group to work with and ensured that we were able to get everything we wanted. On the day of the event, they were professional, polite and captured everything we wanted. Paperboys was a great example of everything you could want for a wedding photographer. They were very easy to work with in the planning phase and made sure we felt confident going into the day.

We also got the videography package and are blown away with the results and can't imagine what it would be like to not have a copy of our special day. The sizzle real alone is priceless I actually cannot count how many times my wife watched it.

The team was great to work with and made us feel so comfortable getting the perfect picture. I could feel that they focus on a personal touch and loved our photographers.

With competitive pricing and A+ service, I couldn't recommend Paperboys enough for your wedding day.

Simon is a true gem. We worked with him for our December 2015 wedding. We could have not picked a better videographer. We watched so many different highlight films by other videographers before we came across Simon’s work. We thought his work was incredible and wanted him to capture our wedding, Once we actually spoke to him, we booked him immediately. He is so talented, but also incredibly easy going and great to be around. He not only created an incredible highlight video of our wedding, but amazing overall footage of our day. He’s an awesome human being. You will not regret choosing his team.

In the beginning, my fiance and I both were not planning on getting a videographer, since we thought it may not be worth it and we probably will never watch or want to watch our awkward selves on tv. But then I stumbled onto Simon’s videos—and just fell in love with his cinematic approach. Just like his website, he was really down-to-earth and extremely easy to work with. He listened to what our “must-haves” and what our wedding day would consist of, so he can make sure he will capture it all. On the day of, he was prompt, professional and even made us feel comfortable by just being funny. I think our photographers and him really work well together and on his questionnaire, he asked if there was one shot, who would you want to have capture it (him or photographer)—so you have choices. After our wedding day, my fiance and I both agreed that we made the right decision that we had Simon be part of our big day. There were reception parts that we missed (when we were taking pictures, changing outfits, etc) so he was there to document, which was pretty cool and he was sorta like a ninja, capturing footage from all different angles, while we were not not even aware he was even there (how does he do that!). We are waiting for the rest of the footage but we are really happy with our highlights video. If you are on the fence like I was, I definitely say go it! Simon definitely made that decision easier for us!

More than just videographers they will make your fairy tales come true

I can't say enough good things about these gentleman. I don't know what I would have done without them. I got so many compliments from guests on how professional they were. If I didn't go with Paperboy's I think I would not have had such a beautiful fairy tale wedding. They were there for every last detail. Simone and the crew made sure but to just capture every moment but to assist with making sure that we didn't miss our moments. I had a fantastic wedding planner but I had a super complex wedding with lots of Disney Lenox decor and birds, and flowers. With so much going on she could not have done what these guys did for us. They were so helpful and did everything effortlessly. The quality of my package was amazing. I feel that the price I paid was not enough. This is Hollywood quality and people watched my wedding reels like they were a blockbuster hit. That's not all these men have hearts of gold! They were there for me during the pandemic. Not only did they reschedule several times but they also helped me with my micro wedding. If it was not for them I may not have gotten married when we wanted and the stress of that may have made getting married to much for this bride. Being a Covid bride was stressful but God knew I needed these men to save my wedding and to make beautiful memories that would last a life time. Don't hesitate I have worked with so many professional photographers and videographers in my career and this crew is the best I have ever worked with. If money is the issue choose one if their smaller packages and try and save for a be little more later on. Don't pay for mediocre when you could have Hollywood quality for a decent price. I think even they're smaller packages would be more than worth it they take their work to the next level and pay attention to every detail. You just won't get that anywhere else and you will probably pay just as much or a little less for something that just isn't what you wanted. Whether you're having a micro wedding or 200 guests they will exceed your if you're having a micro wedding and don't have all the vendors you need don't worry they will make sure you don't miss out. And if you're having a larger wedding don't worry they will make sure things go right so that you don't go crazy. You won't regret it every time I look at these photos or videos and brings me closer to my spouse and makes me realize why I love him so much. When someone can capture all of that in just a few hours it's more than talent it's a miracle.

Paperboys is AMAZING. We hired them for our Indian wedding events and also had an engagement shoot.

First off - they are one of the most responsive and kind vendors in the industry that I spoke to. Having a vendor like this on your team while wedding planning makes life SO much easier. They are flexible and always willing to hop on a call and discuss any concerns or questions.

For photos - we worked with John primarily for photography, and he made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot; we had full trust when it came to our wedding. Those photos came out like art. He is such a pro - perfect cues for posing, always knows what to do, and really takes into account your preferences/concerns. He works so seamlessly, and on top of that, he is insanely kind, accommodating, and makes you feel so prioritized. He is so familiar with the brown wedding scene that he knew to call everyone auntie and uncle! He really went above and beyond for us throughout our weekend, and I can't express my appreciation enough. AND obviously, our photos are beautiful! We also worked with Matt and Matthew for photos, and they were both equally amazing, kind, polite, and talented. Their vibe really is so calming, warm and efficient, which you definitely need on your wedding day.

For video - we primarily worked with Jonny, and Laura came to a couple of our events as well. They were both so chill, kind, and just a pleasure to be around. Something must be in the water at Paperboys honestly! Now.. Jonny created a same-day edit that was SO above and beyond my expectations. I mean, I was sobbing when I saw it at the reception. I only briefly described to him my vision for it, and he understood it perfectly. It was dramatic, beautiful, and every element was well thought out. He is a genius! I truly have no words. Jonny and Laura captured so many cool moments and shots, and I am just so excited to relive all of our most special moments when we receive more video content.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Paperboys, especially the folks highlighted above, to anyone looking for wedding photographers and videographers!

My husband didn't think we really needed a videographer, but when we got our highlight video from Simon, he completely agreed it was worth every penny (and he teared up). You can really get a sense of our whole day. Other wedding videos are too much fluff, too many shots of the couple kissing in various locations. Simon included many detail shots (cake, church, rings, centerpieces, etc), getting ready, taking photos with our wedding party, first look, parts of the ceremony, guests mingling at cocktail hour, speeches, bride & dad dance, groom & mom dance, first dance, cake cutting, dancing, and more. My siblings sang a few funny songs as part of my sister's maid of honor speech, which were too long to include in the highlight video of course. But Simon did include a few parts, and even matched up the 8 counts and song beats so it doesn't seem choppy! It's as if that's exactly how they performed it. Amazing. I absolutely love seeing people's reactions and interactions that I didn't get to see on the day. My mom has watched our video every single day, multiple times per day, since we received it a few weeks ago. My brother is so proud of it that he shows his own friends I don't even really know.

If you work with Simon, in addition to getting an epic wedding video, he will make you laugh and feel completely at ease as you get ready and do all the pre-wedding shots. Then during the ceremony and reception, he's a ninja filming without anybody noticing. I don't know how he got some of the shots he did. I HIGHLY recommend going for at least the Cat's Pajamas package to get the ceremony or reception audio clips included in your highlight video. This package also gets you 2 videographers. WORTH IT. Everyone would make a few minor tweaks to their wedding, but there is nothing about Simon's work that I would change. He is awesome.

From our very first call with Logan, we knew we were in great hands. He took the time to truly understand us—our style, our preferences, and what mattered most for our big day. Logan was not only professional but also incredibly friendly and fun to work with, which made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.

I can't say enough great things about Simon and Jordan. Outside of being amazing videographers, they are just both really friendly, down-to-earth guys who will make you feel less like you're being filmed all day and more like you're hanging out with two old friends. Seriously. Not to mention, our wedding video turned out better than we could have ever expected. Like, we both still cry when we watch it. They were able to capture the perfect balance of our raw emotions throughout the day but also how much fun our guests were having - something that was really important to us! And, when I reached back out to Simon after one of our guests unexpectedly passed away after our wedding, he went completely above and beyond to find him in the footage and send us still shots that we could share with his family. Truly amazing guys who do amazing work. You're going to want to book them quickly, trust me!

All of the other 5-star reviews raving about Simon Cook Films are completely accurate and sound like I wrote them myself!!! So I'm going to share how my situation was a bit unique... With only an 8 month engagement, I was having trouble locking-in certain vendors. After searching a few wedding videographers and being told they were booked on my wedding date (or way too pricey, anyways), Simon enthusiastically responded saying he himself was booked for shooting the wedding on my date, BUT that he'd still be delighted in working with us and could send his "extra team of back-up filmers" to film the day-of, and that he would then be the one to cut and edit the footage for the final films. I was a bit hesitant at first, but agreed to this set-up because we had such a good conversation about it all and I trusted him (so don't be scared if this turns out to be your situation!). I got our highlight film back a few weeks ago and could not stop smiling/trembling with joy/crying happy tears the entire time!! Absolute perfection capturing the day in the edited film, and Simon wasn't even there! But the two guys who were there, Anthony and Jordan, were phenomenal!! Although they were not intrusive, they were still very present, professional, and a JOY to have as part of our special day. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. My husband and I highly recommend Simon Cook Films in EVERY regard -- you won't regret it!!!

Simon and his wife Katrina are the definition of ‘professional’. From the beginning of the engagement, Simon took time to call us to hear about our vision for the day and norm on how the day would run. From the bridal party preparations to the actual ceremony and reception, Simon caught the best moments and somehow it felt like we didn’t even know they were there. Instead of guests feeling like they were on a movie set, Simon moved gracefully through the event and captured the most intimate moments that we will cherish forever.

Above all else, it was clear that what Simon and his wife do so well is build relationships and tell stories. Beyond sheer technical mastery (industry standard equipment, innovative/dynamic shots, outstanding audio/visual editing, etc.), Simon’s insights about our relationship allowed him tell a story of who we are and the final product takes me right back to that day-- you can truly feel why we were made for one another! Simon is a supremely talented story-teller and a consummate professional. I can’t wait for another major life milestone because we’ll be calling Simon to celebrate with us and help us capture the spirit of the occasion!!

Epic videography

Let me fist say, my potographer literally gave me a discount just so I could afford them, I knew they had to be the best! I have met probably around 30 videographers in the area which is practically all of them and I can honestly say, they are the best.

I should also add that one of my previous jobs was doing hair and makeup for photoshoots and commercial videography. I know a thing or two about quality and their work is like watching a movie.

I can't wait to see what they do for my whimsical wedding. I know what ever they do will be amazing. Oh and talking to Simon on the phone was like talking to an old friend, so down to earth. Professional and straight forward guy that Simon.

Wedding planning can be stressful, so save yourself some time and stop the research, just go ahead and hire Paperboys RIGHT NOW. I can't say enough great things about them. Simon was AWESOME to work with, and was incredible the day of our wedding. He's so much fun to be around, creative, and put my husband and me at ease. Then our highlight video came, and O-M-G. It was the greatest video I have ever seen/could have hoped for. They captured every highlight of our wedding perfectly. The full video of the entire wedding was incredible as well. My advice to future brides who are planning their wedding, is that I really, truly think that having a videographer is the one of the MOST important vendors to have. No one cares what type of flowers you chose, but being able to look back on the day of your wedding through a video is priceless. The emotions we felt watching the videos back after the wedding made every penny worth it. It's something we can show our families, future children, and will live on forever. If I had to, I would cut costs in other areas to hire Paperboys again. Seriously, they are that good. Thank you, Simon, for doing an amazing job!

Amazing videography!!

Professionals who deliver a great product

We had a great experience with Paper Boys. The team worked very well with our photographer to make sure they got the perfect shots and did not have to reshoot anything twice. The crew knew how to get the perfect shots without being disruptive and provided us with a great highlight video as well as raw footage of the ceremony, speeches, first look, dances and more. The video is incredibly valuable to us and we feel that we can relive our wedding day whenever we want now. I could not have been happier with Simon's work! I searched for a long time to find a videographer in my price range, especially one who was not cheesy in their approach, but was coming up short. I finally found Simon, and immediately fell in love with his style!

Simon and his wife documented everything without interfering with any of the events. In fact, my husband, upon reviewing the video, said he was shocked that he was able to get such cinematic shots without us even knowing! The video was so well put together and thought out, and really captured the lighthearted, fun nature of not only our own wedding, but of Simon and his wife.

The Best Team to Capture Your Wedding Day!

We couldn't be more thrilled with our experience working with the Paperboys team. Simon and Jordan are so easy to work with, very responsive, and produce incredible content that views more like a movie than just another wedding video. We worked with Simon and Jordan to tweak/replace a couple items in their wedding package to make ours more personalized and they were super accommodating. Every time we watch our film we are taken straight back into our venues and makes it feel like we're there again. We viewed our videography for our wedding as an investment and sought out to hire a team that we knew would knock it out of the park, and Paperboys did that and more. Paperboys = the must-have vendor!!!

Booking Paperboys for our photo & video was one of the best things we did for our wedding. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about John Martin, David, and Brianna. These three exceptional human beings cared so much about our wedding weekend, and they really gave us a fantastic experience. They were so professional, always hyped us up, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Many of our guests and family members were so impressed with their efficiency and how they flowed as a team. If this review still hasn't convinced you, please check out their packages for booking photo & video together. As a South-Asian bride, oftentimes vendors charge an arm and a leg for big investments such as cinematography/photography due to the lengthy timelines and multiday events. However, their packages were so affordable while still providing excellent quality. So yes they can do it all! Western ceremonies, elopements, big fat Indian weddings, the works! Book them now because you will not regret it!

Rockstars!!

If I had to redo my wedding all over again and only keep one element the same, it would be hiring Paperboys to capture the event. They were energetic, enthusiastic, professional, expertly skilled, and blended in seamlessly with the atmosphere and vibe of our wedding. The quality of the photos and videos they took is simply jaw-dropping, and they captured every moment in exquisite detail while making all of us look our absolute best! When my fiance talked me into getting a videographer for our big day, I was dubious. I thought I would be uncomfortable with the camera in my face while I was trying to say my vows, cut the cake, etc. But as it turned out, I was very surprised to realize that it wasn't uncomfortable at all! I didn't notice the film crew any more than I did the photographers. But even more surprising was just how awesome the finished product turned out to be. Simon and his crew captured everything so incredibly well, I've watched the thing ten times already and I'm certain we will continue to go back and watch it for the rest of our lives.

Everything we hoped and more!

Paperboys did videography and photography for our NYE wedding, and they were worth EVERY PENNY! Jordan was super helpful throughout the planning process, giving awesome tips and advice that really took away a lot of stress leading up to the big day. Throughout the day (and night) of, they made sure to capture all of the big moments we wanted without fail, and then some. Needless to say, the photos, highlight film, and wedding videos all came out even better than we had hoped for! The highlight film itself was by far our favorite - they put together the video in a way that perfectly captured us as a couple. We’ve been watching the videos over and over since we got them!

If you are looking for beautiful photos and videos, look no further. We found Paperboys on Reddit and thought their work was incredible; after working with them they are hands down the best team we could have asked for. Hope, our photo lead, also took our engagement pictures and they were absolutely stunning. Isaac, our video lead, just sent over our teaser reel and we are beyond over the moon with how beautiful it is. Paper Boys is undoubtedly the BEST wedding videographer out there!

I cannot express how thrilled my husband and I are with Paper Boys' incredible videography work! Before we even spoke to the team, it was obvious that Paper Boys films are not just wedding films but cinematic works of art. Paper Boys also offered live streaming services, which was a requirement for us, even post-COVID, knowing that we have older, and out-of-state families that could not travel to be with us on our big day. From the moment we first spoke to Matt, we felt like he was understanding of our vision, unique style, and preferences. Closer to our wedding day, we were told that our lead videographer was Joshua, who immediately connected with us in order to listen to our ideas, talk through the timeline, and offer recommendations in order for him to capture every detail of our day seamlessly.

Joshua and the team managed to be everywhere without being intrusive, ensuring that they didn't miss a single precious memory. The live streaming also went on without a hitch, and our family members told us they appreciated this detail so much and truly felt like they were part of the celebrations. Less than a week after our wedding day, we received our video teaser. We were absolutely blown away by the attention to detail, editing, and music choice (which we left entirely in Joshua’s hands) in such a short amount of time. The teaser has already been watched countless times by my husband and I, and are anxiously anticipating the magnificence that we imagine our full-length video being after already seeing the masterpiece of the teaser.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of working with Paper Boys. They are true professionals who are passionate about their craft, and it shows in the remarkable work they produce. If you're looking for a videographer who will capture the magic of your special day in the most beautiful way, look no further. We highly recommend them without hesitation! 100% hands down absolutely yes.

These guys were incredible. Fun, professional, SO easy to work with, and the final products (photos and video) are astoundingly good. When the day is over, and you barely remember a thing, you'll be so glad you hired Paperboys to beautifully capture everything. I sent my famously stoic father the highlight film, and the man teared up. THAT is an endorsement, as his eyes were dry the entire actual wedding. If you want to splurge on one thing for your wedding, make it Paperboys.

This guy rocks! I will admit before meeting Simon I had this perceived thought that the videography would be something that resembled a early 90's music video. This wasnt the case! When Simon sat down with my wife and I, I knew he was the man for the job and my thoughts of that 90's music video were all wrong. He explained the whole process down to the "T" and made sure that all the "I's" were dotted! As we met in a cozy hip coffee shop (his recommendation which was awesome!) we gave him our vision of what we wanted and told him our story and relinquished control. His attentiveness was second to none and his confidence made us feel at ease! As our big day was soon arriving he checked in with us to see how we were doing and even helped calm some pre-wedding nerves that I was having. The day of the wedding he showed up on time with eagerness and a hunger to capture all the right shots ensuring every part of our wedding story could be told and shared with everyone! Simon is simply the best, with a true passion and vision for what he does and our video shows that! I would encourage everyone who is looking for a videographer to book Simon and recieve the "Simon Cook" expierence to see for yourselves.

Paperboys and Sal were amazing

I truly can’t say enough about how much I loved Sal and the Paperboys company. They were on the 'preferred vendor list' of my venue, and I can totally see why. Looking through the whole vendor list, I decided that if Paperboys was unable to do my wedding, I was not going to have a video. Their portfolio was THAT much more impressive to me than all the others.

Relationships are almost as important to me as the product, and the Paperboys team was incredible to work with. They were prompt in their communication, answered all my questions open and honestly, and set me up with the most perfect videographer for my wedding. Sal is the man. As much as he was in the background of my wedding, he was also such a joy and positive energy to have around us that day. He was our biggest hype man and it actually felt like he was excited to be with us, not just there for a job.

I was very unsure if I wanted a videographer for my wedding. Bride to bride, do it. It’s worth every penny. The whole day is such a chaotic beautiful blur and it's been indescribable to be able to look back at our day through these videos.

We have said it over and over again- using Paperboys was hands down the greatest decision we made for our wedding day. Both Jordan and Simon were extremely accommodating and quick to respond before, during, and after the wedding. Not only did Jordan and Veronica spend extra time with us when our party ran over, they braved a snowstorm and were shooting outside during it to get the perfect shot. On top of that, our highlight video was done the very next week. I can't sing the praises of Paperboys enough- thank you guys for capturing our day in a video we will cherish forever. You all are THE best!

Personalized and Friendly!

We loved working with paperboys! They were so helpful and friendly and our experience truly felt very personalized to our wedding. We did half film photography for our gallery and they came out STUNNING!!

Hiring Paperboys was the BEST decision we made! Simon and his team were so amazing and blew our guests away with the same day edit. We had a lot of weather challenges on our wedding day and they were more than flexible and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. They were also so fun and down to earth! We 100% will be recommending them to any getting married!

Photo/video

Our photo/video team was amazing. Aiden (photo) and Laura (video) did a great job making us and our families feel comfortable in front of the camera. The quality of the photos we received was great. We were on the fence about getting videography before our wedding but seeing the end result, we’re so glad we did.

One thing that come to mind when I think about Simon Cook Films is QUALITY. From the equipment that he uses, to the blu ray's, he just obviously knows what he is doing, and the final product is unreal. Are there cheaper videographers out there? Sure. But for what you are getting with Simon, it is a no brainer. He was worth EVERY PENNY of our investment, as he created a film for us that we will be able to cherish the rest of our lives. Plus he is so nice, kind, funny, warm, yet somehow INCREDIBLY professional. I am so grateful that he was available on my wedding date. He really is as good as it gets in this industry. I would hire him again in a second!

Getting videography from Simon Cook was the best decision I could have made for the wedding. I wasn't originally planning or budgeting for videography services, but decided after looking over a few of Simon's video's (as well as several other vendors) to go ahead and do it, and I am more than glad I did.

Simon was extremely responsive, super friendly and cool to work with. He blended in so well, but was still able to capture everything. He also really listened to what I wanted and the few key factors of the day which were important to me, and all of those were very evident in the end product. The quality of his video and the thought behind his work was unlike any other product I have seen. He truly did capture our wedding day in the most perfect way. I have heard nothing but absolute rave reviews from friends and family who have also seen our video as well. I would recommend Simon Cook to anyone and everyone I know. Also, for any brides debating on whether to get videography- DO IT. You will not regret it.

Simon- Thank you again for giving us the best gift you could. The video is absolutely perfect and still brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it. You are the best!!

Cant say enough good things!

Amazing! We worked with Matt to book and plan our video and Clay on wedding day and both were simply wonderful. They were very open to what we wanted, but gave great ideas throughout! The video looks incredible and we feel so lucky to be able to look back on all the parts of our day and even find some moments our guests had that we missed!! They also worked wonderfully and seamlessly with our photographers and other vendors and that also made the day flow so well!

Simon. Is. The Best. He has such a calm, cheerful demeanor and was such a welcome presence on the day of our wedding - not only is his videography excellent, we really just enjoyed having him around! We've gotten our highlight reel back so far, and we are SO happy with it - he managed the perfect balance of capturing all of the key moments/emotions without ever being too intrusive on the day of. It's a beautifully composed video and definitely something we'll treasure for years to come.

Simon is super responsive and works with you to figure out your preferences (e.g., if you have to choose, would you want the videographer or photographer to get the perfect shot, do you want him to bring extra lighting, etc.) to ensure that he tailors his approach to exactly what you want. He's also very reasonably priced given the high quality product he delivers. We HIGHLY recommend him. Even if you weren't thinking you need a videographer, definitely do it, and definitely go with Simon!
