Brittany, Kelsey and the entire Floriana team were absolutely incredible to work with. From our initial tour, we knew the venue was exactly what we were looking for. It is a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor spaces to allow the day to flow nicely. We also loved and took full advantage of the getting ready spaces which accommodated all our bridal party and family members.

Throughout the planning process, Brittany was always available for questions and always had the best advice when we needed it.

On our actual wedding day, Brittany truly went above and beyond to make it the most perfect day we could have asked for. With rain all week long, we had to pivot in the morning to an indoor ceremony but Brittany and the team worked tirelessly to make sure it was going to be picture-perfect. While it wasn't what we had planned it looked beautiful and was a huge relief to know Brittany had it all under control and we didn't need to worry about a thing.

About 30 minutes before guest arrival, the sun had come out enough to allow for the outdoor ceremony and Brittany quickly made the call that we could pull off a last minute change. The team flipped the spaces in what we assume was record time.

We could not be more grateful to have had such a wonderful team supporting us for our wedding day - we truly had to worry about nothing once we arrived at the venue. It was a magical day and we cannot thank the team enough!

Having my wedding at Floriana was the best decision. They truly have an incredible, full-service team. We had the most incredible experience at Floriana! From start to finish, the entire process was so seamless and stress-free.

We first met with Jenna for our tour and booking, and she was so helpful in answering all of our questions. From there, our wedding coordinator, Brittany, was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make our day so special and guided us effortlessly through every step of the evening. She brought every little detail I had envisioned to life, which meant so much to me as a graphic designer who personally designed every aspect of our wedding.

On our wedding day, it was pouring rain but the Floriana team handled everything so seamlessly. They transitioned our ceremony and cocktail hour inside and decorated the space so beautifully with candles that it honestly didn't even matter that our plans had changed. Everything felt so intentional and magical.

The entire evening flowed so smoothly, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had, how beautiful every detail was, and how incredible the food and drinks were! Every staff member we interacted with was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. Brittany made sure we felt supported throughout the entire night, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy every moment.

We found Floriana in the midst of their rebrand from "the Hellenic Center" to "Floriana". After tirelessly searching for a venue that checked all of our boxes (elegant, historic mansion, outdoor/indoor, gardens) that was not only gorgeous but functional, we saw Floriana pop up. As a couple living in New Hampshire, we had never heard of Floriana, or even visited the North Shore. However, after tirelessly touring venues across New England, we realized that nothing was going to compare to this venue.

Floriana blew us away with their commitment to excellence. Unlike many of the other mansion/estate options we had toured, Floriana felt like a true wedding venue, while still being historical and beautiful. Not only were we getting the beauty of a historic mansion, in a quaint New England town, we were also being provided with the highest level of service that made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process.

From the very beginning, Floriana staff impressed us with their knowledge, kindness, and can-do attitude. On our first visit, on a rainy, overcast day in the middle of August, the venue shined. It was clean, smelled amazing, had gorgeous grounds and a beautifully redone interior that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It became clear to us that Floriana could not be beat.

Jenna, who gave us our initial tour, was so kind and considerate. She was prompt and detailed when emailing with us, both prior to our visit, as well as when we sent follow up questions. When it became clear that Floriana was the right venue for us, Jenna even let us set up an impromptu second visit with our parents.

We were continuously proven correct that we had made the right choice over our two year engagement. We received periodic communication from the venue, learning about upgrades they were making, getting helpful tips, and even recommendations for local vendors. Whenever we had questions, Floriana staff never made us feel like we were inconveniencing them.

The group tasting (something we were hesitant about at first) became one of our favorite memories of wedding planning. Floriana staff ran an entire mock wedding for the tasting, inviting vendors in, showcasing the "add ons" that could be added onto our wedding day. We were also able to meet our amazing coordinator, Amber, and explore Floriana in more detail at our leisure.

We were impressed by how many items of our wedding day could stay "in house" through Floriana. We loved how much was already included in our contract, as well as the affordable add ons that were options as well.

At our details meeting, Amber was amazing. She was thorough, kind, and did a great job of helping us guide our thinking, without forcing any opinions on us. We felt so comfortable working with her throughout the entire process. She did an excellent job of leading us without making us stressed.

On the day of our wedding, we chose to rent out Floriana from 9:00 am on. It was amazing getting ready on-site while watching our venue come to life. The included getting ready suites are so beautifully decorated, but were also incredibly functional. There was plenty of space for myself, 8 bridesmaids, two moms, and two hair and makeup artists in the "Bride's" suite. The groom's suite was also large enough for all the men in the wedding party. Not only was everyone comfortable while getting ready, our detail photos came out beautiful.

We hosted an informal lunch while we got ready, which allowed our flower girls to stop by with their parents, and be part of the fun. Floriana's early morning staff was so kind and accommodating, and made every person who came to the venue early feel welcomed and relaxed.

As the bride, I diy'ed a lot of parts of our wedding. I gave some direction to Amber and her team as to where and how things should be set up. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect (including a seating chart that would not stick to its frame). Amber personally took care of everything and anything, making herself known to us, and helping with even the smallest tasks (like my broken seating chart!)

Our wedding day was 90% humidity. It was a beautiful August day, sunny, 80s, but unfortunately incredibly humid. Amber and her team made quick, appropriate decisions to make sure the wedding party and our guests were taken care of. We especially loved that Amber would always come directly to us with important decisions, but made them simple and flexible (for example, moving the welcome table and drinks inside the mansion so guests could stay in the AC before the ceremony outside).

Despite not having a rehearsal dinner, Amber and her team executed a wonderful ceremony. The wedding party did not have any guesses as to what they had to do, as she made sure we were exactly where we needed to be, at exactly the right time.

After the ceremony, Amber's team ushered us to the gazebo, where our signature drinks and selected hor d'oeuvres were waiting for us. It was one of the highlights of the night, sharing our new marriage with the people closest to us, before joining the rest of our guests. The attention to detail from the entire staff was impressive. My mom, who is vegan, was given her own tray of hor d'oeuvres under the gazebo, and continued special attention throughout the entire reception.

The humidity finally broke during our reception, with lightning, thunder, and a 20 minute torrential downpour. The Floriana team handled it extremely well, keeping our guests dry in the tent. Once again, Amber did a fabulous job of keeping us in the loop, asking for our opinions, without being overbearing or disrupting the flow of our reception.

Throughout the entire night, Amber made sure we had drinks in hand, plenty of food, and were served any specialty items first. We felt so special and cared for the entire evening. Leaving at 10:30 was truly difficult!

Amber's team did a great job packing up our gifts, cards, and all of our decor that we had brought with us. This was another example of them going above and beyond to make sure we truly enjoyed our wedding day without being too involved.

The next day, we realized that Amber and the Floriana team had gifted us a whole goodie bag of items, including a beautiful Floriana scented candle and a very sweet card. Once again, showing us how amazing the service at Floriana was.

Floriana could not have been a better option for us, and we are so grateful for all the love and support they showed us while going through this process of hosting a wedding and getting married! The venue is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the people are amazing.

TLDR: When we were looking for a venue, we saw so many reviews about Floriana that mentioned how amazing it was. Many couples mentioned that their guests were impressed by the service, the food, and the beauty of the venue. We feel honored to be joining the group of reviews that share the same sentiment!

My wife and I got married here in July. We worked primarily with Amber. She and everyone else who worked with her were fantastic. Especially on the actual day, the whole staff was so attentive and prepared. Even when the power went out in all of Ipswich, the staff was ready with battery operated candelabras within 30 seconds. Thankfully they weren't needed as the power was only out for a short while. The food was great, the bar/wait staff were all incredibly friendly, and the venue speaks for itself.

Brittany and the Floriana team are incredible and you will be so thrilled if you book with them. First, the venue: Floriana is gorgeous inside and out; my husband and I fell in love with it immediately. Even the drive out to the venue is adorable with a mix of colonial and cape cod-style homes. You have several choices of both ceremony and reception sites. We had our ceremony in the upper garden, the cocktail hour in the tent (with heaters we rented through Floriana; needed in early May), and the reception inside the beautiful ballroom.

Our contact person and day-of coordinator was Brittany; WE LOVE HER. She was so enthusiastic about our wedding every time we spoke with her, and incredibly organized. The best example of her help was how she handled the tenuous weather forecast. On the morning of the wedding, she texted us both about the forecast, which was showing on and off rain. She told us the situation (the lower lawn, our original ceremony plan, was too wet for guests, even if rain stopped) and immediately told us her preferred solution (setting up both the upper garden and the tent for the ceremony, then deciding later). The weather kept changing throughout the day but Brittany kept us updated and always brought the best solution, making our choices easy and letting us focus on having fun. Brittany and the staff were so incredible that they literally were able to move all the ceremony chairs from the tent to the upper garden only 15 minutes from the ceremony start time because the sun finally came out!

That brings me to the staff; every staff member was so professional, kind, and organized. We never had a long line at the bar, every table was taken care of by their server, and they even did a great job “shepherding” the guests between the different locations. The room was set up so beautifully and thoughtfully, with every detail in its right place. They were also great at handling all of our DIY items (my husband painted every table number and multiple signs, I drew our guests’ faces on their escort cards, my dad made and bottled maple syrup for table favors, etc.).

The food was excellent, everyone especially loved the chicken with Chimichurri. They were able to make 2 custom dishes from Puerto Rico, my husband’s home (queso frito with guava sauce, and pernil pork on tostones). They also accommodated our special cocktails (cucumber martini and painkiller) which were delicious!

I could go on and on about Floriana. To sum it up, they made sure that our day was absolutely incredible without needing us to worry about anything (even the weather). I should mention we are a gay couple and while some “traditional wedding settings” can feel intimidating or unwelcoming to us, Floriana always made us feel loved, accepted, and deserving of our special day. The Floriana was absolutely stunning, and we could not have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our special day. From the beautiful location to the incredible atmosphere, everything exceeded our expectations.

The staff was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and made everything feel seamless and stress-free. The food was fantastic — our guests are still talking about how great everything was!

We are still completely blown away by our experience with Floriana for our September wedding. From the moment guests arrived, it felt special. The ambiance of the entire property was stunning: the tent was beautiful, the grounds were immaculate, the fire pit created the perfect cozy vibe, and the black-and-white elevated dance floor truly took everything to the next level. And people still talk about how lavish it felt being welcomed with cocktails/dirty martinis on platters outside the mansion.

Every vendor the venue recommended was incredible, including the florals and band, with every detail coming together seamlessly, which speaks volumes to the level of care and thought they put into their partnerships. Because of the venue’s impeccable service, organization, and attention to detail, we really didn't even need the wedding planner!

Pricing was very reasonable for the level of quality, service, and overall experience we received. We felt so taken care of from start to finish, and the end result exceeded every expectation we had. We are truly so grateful and honestly wish we could do it all over again. If you’re considering this venue-do it. You won’t regret it for a second.
