We used the Whoopie Wagon for our wedding and we had an amazing experience! Mary and Philip were so easy to work with and helped us pick out the right desserts for our 180 person wedding. And I still have people texting me about how delicious the desserts were! We did whoopie pies, cannolis and macaroons and it was SUCH a hit. There were no whoopies left behind. We used the Topsfield Bakeshop for our July 2025 wedding at the Evermore. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such prompt, clear communication with a business! Philip was so wonderful to plan with. He answered my (many!) questions, gave great suggestions, and helped create my exact vision. I had every faith that the cake would be tasty, but when I took a bite for a photo - I had to excuse myself and eat the whole slice. Our cake was DELICIOUS. So many guests approached us to compliment how tasty both the red velvet and lemon raspberry torte were. The design of the cake looked exactly like the picture I sent Philip - only prettier. We worked with Topsfield Bakeshop for our wedding in April 2025! My husband has always been a big whoopie pie fan (and we have a history ordering from Topsfield Bakeshop) so it was a no brainer to us to order their mini whoopie pies as the main dessert for our wedding.

We first got connected with Topsfield Bakeshop in July 2024 and were able to do a take-home cake tasting later that month. Talk about tough decisions! The cake flavors were heavenly, so much so that we didn’t end up deciding what cake flavor to go with (lemon raspberry torte) until weeks before the wedding.

The mini whoopie pies were the main attraction. We got a variety of flavors, but the red velvet and s’mores were our favorites. Topsfield Bakeshop also offers gluten-free and dairy-free options, which we took advantage of! As I mentioned, the mini whoopies pies were the primary dessert option, but the lemon raspberry torte was heavenly and so refreshing!

We have to recognize Philip, who helped us with all of the details and planning. Philip was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was extremely thorough, incredibly professional, and always so responsive. We mostly communicated via email, so it was such a treat to finally meet him! Topsfield Bakeshop will definitely be seeing more of us!

The best gluten free wedding EVER! We got gluten free mini whoopie pies (chocolate and pumpkin) as well as the gluten free chocolate chunk cookies. Everyone kept commenting that they were the best gluten free desserts they have ever had and I agree! Working with Philip was so easy and he was so accommodating and kind. They delivered the desserts, provided the towers/displays, and decorated the whole setup. Everything was absolutely amazing and they helped make my day perfect!!

Topsfield bake shop catered desserts for my daughter's wedding on May 3rd, 2025. My daughter wanted whoppie pies and cookies and because she has Celiac Disease we wanted everything gluten free. Well Topsfield bake shop did just that. Their gluten free chocolate and pumpkin mini whoppie pies were AMAZING!!! Not one guest could tell that they were gluten free because they tasted just like their regular ones. We also had gluten free chocolate chunk cookies that were also fabulous! If any bride or groom are looking for something other than a tradition cake please check them out. They did all the delivery and set up at the venue and we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was all AMAZING!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Topsfield Bakery for our wedding cake! From the moment we started planning, the team was incredibly professional, helpful, and reliable, and the final product was absolutely perfect.
One of the highlights of our experience was the cake tasting to-go box. It was such a fun experience! We got to try a variety of flavors, and we loved every single one. It was a memorable afternoon spent with family and our best man as we sampled the different cakes, and we couldn’t stop talking about how delicious each flavor was. Ultimately, we chose the Viennese Torte and carrot cake flavors, and they were both fantastic. The cakes were moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the frosting was to die for!
The delivery was incredibly reliable as well. We never had to worry about missing a deadline or any mistakes. The Topsfield Bakery team took care of everything and made sure the cake was delivered right on time, exactly as promised, which gave us one less thing to think about on the big day.
As for the cake itself, it was a huge hit with our guests! So many people complimented us on how delicious it was, and it definitely lived up to the high expectations we had. The Viennese Torte was rich and decadent, while the carrot cake was flavorful and perfectly spiced. The icing was especially great. The cake was not only delicious but beautifully decorated, and it made a stunning centerpiece at our wedding.

Philip was extremely helpful, attentive, and responsive, and he ensured that everything went off without a hitch. We really appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail throughout the entire process.

Topsfield Bake Shop made a delicious, beautiful cake for our wedding day! They were great at communicating throughout the process and we loved the at-home tasting box. It was also awesome that we could just take home the separate top tier (provided in a separate box) and not have to worry about forgetting to instruct the caterers to save the top. Topsfield bakeshop was phenomenal! Mary was super helpful when I met with her to plan desserts for my wedding. She gave helpful tips and suggestions and made me feel so relaxed and excited for my big day!
Everyone raved about the desserts and there wasn’t a single one left at the end of the night! We ordered Whoopie pies, cupcakes, cookies and cannolis and they were so good, I had to stop at the shop a week after my wedding to get some more.
