We had a wedding ceremony and reception at The Hellenic Center the weekend of November 2, 2024. We, the parents of the bride, had visited the facility twice - in the winter and early spring of 2024. Our view was rather neutral after these two visits.

This all changed on our daughter’s wedding day. We entered the hall early afternoon for a ceremony that was scheduled to begin several hours later - to get prepared for pictures, etc. We were immediately impressed at how beautiful the hall was as it was being transformed to the finished product.

Every detail was managed impeccably - from the four ply napkins in each restroom, to the chairs lined up perfectly outside for the ceremony, to the distribution of the appetizers immediately after the ceremony. The bar and catering personnel were excellent as were the drinks and food. Even the plates at the beginning of the buffet line were warm - something only my Mom would do. We were all so impressed with the entire event that I would recommend, without reservation, to any and all. Kelsey and the entire staff / crew were outstanding.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Floriana! From the moment we toured the venue all the way through our wedding day they were responsive, helpful, and kind. The venue is GORGEOUS, you will fall in love with it the minute you walk in, and definitely once you see the outdoor space. The bride and groom "getting ready" rooms and stunning and spacious.

We worked closely with the wedding coordinator, Kelsey, who was incredibly responsive, and helped us plan our dream wedding on a budget. She was flexible and creative with options. She offered suggestions without being rigid or pushy. The actual day of the wedding went off without a single issue. At one point (in the middle of the dancing and chaos) I misplaced my bouquet, crystal champagne glass and my mom's garter. I approached Kelsey to ask her to keep an eye out, and before I could even say anything she said "don't worry I found all three." That sums up our experience perfectly- they were on top of things they didn't even need to be! I couldn't have been happier and 100% recommend!

We recently had the most wonderful wedding at Floriana!!! The grounds and the mansion were the perfect backdrop for our early fall wedding, with a beautiful, simple elegant, classic New England feel. We have had nothing but amazing experiences since the day we toured the venue – Jenna and Kelsey were there every step of the way during the planning process and they were so helpful answering all of our questions. On the day of, Kelsey and the staff executed everything flawlessly – we didn’t have to worry about a single thing, everything was perfectly coordinated, and she made our wedding vision come to life just as we imagined! The getting ready suites at the venue are spacious and beautiful, setting a relaxing atmosphere and fantastic for photos. All of the food by Vinwood was exceptional – from the apps to the dinner, and the drinks were wonderful too. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We have heard nothing but overwhelmingly positive feedback from family and friends since the wedding – they loved the setting and the food, and multiple people have mentioned how well organized and executed the entire day was. We cannot say enough great things about Floriana! We highly recommend hosting your wedding here, as we had the very best experience from start to finish!!!

As a wedding venue, this place was a dream. Very classic New England feel, with an extremely accommodating staff and catering service. I’d recommend this spot to anyone currently looking at wedding venues!

While planning my wedding at the Floriana, the team got back to my emails in a timely fashion. I really felt like all my needs would be met come wedding day and that I wouldn’t have anything to manage come the big day. However, on our wedding day the coordinator we were assigned (Christine) had so many questions for me while I was getting ready upstairs, taking a walk around the venue before guests arrived, and during the reception. I was asked questions that were set in stone weeks ago on the day of like “what votives did you want again?” “how are these napkins meant to be folded?” “what’s next on the schedule? Cake cutting or dances?” Mind you all of the answers to these questions were in countless emails and documented thoroughly on the website they use for planning. I'm sorry but no bride should have to deal with being asked to fold napkins and look through emails to confirm what you told your coordinator days ago on YOUR WEDDING DAY as you're LITERALLY getting ready. Come on.

I requested that my husband and my family's rows be swapped for the ceremony so I could see their faces as I married my husband, and my coordinator instead made the entire ceremony BACKWARDS and had my husband and groomsmen standing on the left instead of the right. This threw me off entirely and I couldn't even do my dip correctly at the middle of the aisle because I was backwards. This is something that could have easily been avoided had there been a rehearsal included but this venue doesn't do that. If you want a rehearsal you have to spend 500 dollars on one. I was told it wasn't needed. I beg to differ.

In one of calls my husband and I told the team that enjoying our dinner and not being interrupted while we sat at our sweetheart table was important to us and we were told that would be no issue. Well none of the staff did anything to stop the countless guests that approached our table while we were trying to eat our meals. In fact we had a total of 5 minutes of eating time because no one thought to tell guests to stay seated so we could enjoy our meal like they assured us they would. I had cocktail napkins custom made to be passed with cocktails and appetizers. The coordinator knew this. And yet those napkins were left sitting at the bar and in the end only 50 of the 300 I ordered were even used. Same goes for our programs. They were never handed out or even pointed to. Guests told me that no one was even clearly directing them to the table at our ceremony that had our programs and bubbles for our bubble exit. At one point I was getting ready upstairs when my coordinator came up to me and said that the bride from last night took home the gold easel I reserved and paid extra for to hold our welcome sign. They didn't even notice their large iron easel was missing until I was getting ready. And even then they didn't even offer to reimburse me for their mistake. Who does that? I have been planning my wedding for the last 2 years. I have spent a ridiculous amount of money along the way to ensure that the best vendors are hired so that nothing major would go wrong on the day I spent years planning for. And here we are, only a few days after my wedding has passed, filled with so much regret over this day I put my whole heart into planning. All because the team I hired didn't put nearly as much thought or care into it as I did. Awful.

My husband and I got engaged in July 2023 and as soon as we toured The Hellenic Center we fell in love with the spacious back lawn and gorgeous mansion for our elegant garden wedding. Our wedding was on August 16, 2024 and it was perfect from start to finish. Our day of coordinator, Stacey, was wonderful to work with and was very attentive! From stocking the bridal and grooms getting ready suite with our favorite drinks, handing out our vendor tips, and helping with the flow of the evening, everything was smooth! The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious! We loved our outdoor ceremony, indoor cocktail hour that lead nicely to our tented reception outside under the stars. The grounds of the venue are beautiful and a summer wedding here is breathtaking! Stacey even helped break down our decor and kept everything organized throughout the entire night. We highly recommend The Hellenic Center team, Stacey and Kelsey are extremely knowledgable and made the planning process very enjoyable. They are a dream to work with!

Our wedding at Floriana was truly a dream come true. From the moment we stepped into the venue, we felt an overwhelming sense of joy and peace. The mansion, grounds, and tent were magical, with every corner of Floriana giving off beauty and elegance. It felt like we were in a storybook.

What made our experience even more special was the incredible team at Floriana. They treated us like family, making sure every detail was perfect and that we felt supported and cherished. Their warmth and professionalism made the entire day stress-free, allowing us to focus on each other and our loved ones. Kelsey really made the planning process and day run so smoothly!

The food was exquisite, and our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Every moment at Floriana was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We are so grateful for the amazing experience and couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to start our forever.

We just got married at Floriana a few weeks ago and it was the most perfect day! Besides the beautiful mansion and grounds, Kelsey was so incredibly helpful in everything leading up to the wedding and we really knew we were in good hands. She answered any and all of my questions, concerns, and was also a great resource for nearby vendors and such. Kelsey and her team made my vision come to life, and I felt confident that the day would be just as I imagined. They did a lot of work to upgrade the bridal and grooms suites since we first toured, and the spaces were so ideal for getting ready. Vinwood's food was fantastic, our guests were all raving about the food, and the bartenders and serving staff were all so lovely. The customer service is the highlight of this venue and made it feel very personal and approachable. It was the perfect wedding weekend and we couldn't be happier!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Floriana this past June. Kelsie and her team were amazing and made sure every detail was thought of. They made our day so special and were there for us every step of the way. Definitely recommend this venue for a perfect wedding! :)

The Hellenic Center was the perfect place for our wedding, the grounds are beautiful and offer so many locations for photos (and ceremonies!), the bridal suite and grooms suite are the perfect place to relax and get ready before the wedding, and the interior ballroom is beautiful. A couple months before our wedding we were informed of a change in management which was a little stressful to hear but we ended up working with Dana and we could not have been happier, she was phenomenal to work with. She made sure all of our decorations were set up beautifully and that the day ran smoothly. Our wedding day also brought pouring rain (which cleared up and we were able to have our outdoor ceremony in the garden!) and Dana was in contact with me as soon she arrived at the venue to let me know how the grounds looked. I can honestly say I was not stressed at all and our wedding day went perfectly. We can't recommend the Hellenic Center enough!

The Hellenic Center was the perfect venue for our wedding. We fell in love with the property the moment we saw it! It is well kept both inside and out. We were a COVID reschedule from September 2020 to September 2021. Deb was easy to work with and accommodating every step along the way! She was responsive and organized and put our minds at ease. Our wedding was everything we could have imagined and more! I would highly recommend this venue!

We got married at The Hellenic Center this past February. My husband and I fell instantly in love with the entire venue when we toured it for the first time. It was everything we wanted and more! Even though our assigned coordinator changed midstream, it was a seamless change. Deb was our day of coordinator and she was awesome! She was so easy going. She answered all my questions and really put me at ease. They have great off season pricing and the mansion was a perfect setting for our winter wedding!

If I knew the events that happened leading up to my wedding, would’ve happened, I would have never gone forward with the Hellenic Center. I gave them 2 stars because through all the chaos in having 3 different wedding coordinators, Deb did accommodate us...however I was reminded that this is not how it goes and they were doing us a favor and to not advertise that this was previously promised to us. It was uncomfortable to be quite honest. I expressed my gratitude for them accommodating but it’s not my fault that there was a change in management. What I originally was told in my first official meeting with Tamie, should’ve been executed without the reminders of the favors they were doing us.

To start, I had an amazing coordinator, Tamie. I moved forward with The Hellenic center because of Tamie’s longevity with the venue. She was all about providing the couple with a perfect day. After seeing her in action when a wedding took place, I knew she’d do everything in her power to make sure my day was perfect for us. Half way throughout wedding planning, I emailed Tamie only to get an auto-response from someone new, Linda. She was terrible and had an attitude problem. After a month or so of dealing with Linda, we got another coordinator about 2/3 months before our wedding day.

Things were fine up until the day before and day of the wedding. When I showed up with all my stuff, Deb was asking me where everything should go. When I originally spoke with Tamie she said she’d take care of all the decorating unless I specifically wanted something somewhere. I told her I wanted ALL the mantels decorated with the candles, along with the signs I had bought. I had also asked that the 4 long tables have many candles on them. The day of the wedding, I arrived to 4 bare tables, without candles and one mantel not decorated at all, not even 1 candle. I even had guests tell me it was a missed opportunity not to decorate that mantel.

Not only did I come back to find that the lack in decorations but my cocktail hour was all over the place. The cocktail hour was supposed to be outdoors. It had rained that day but stopped by the time we got there. My guestbook, seating arrangement and card box were outside while the hor d’oeuvres were served inside. There was ZERO direction for guests when they arrived. Some just walked in the front door, some walked around the side, no one knew where to go until our best man jumped out of point guests in the right direction. Because some walked in through the front door, they didn’t get a chance to see our guestbook. We had 167 guests but only ended up with 15 messages. Guests couldn’t find where they were sitting because the cocktail hour was inside while my cardbox and seating chart was outside. Just with the few guests I spoke with, each were confused on where they were sitting because again, there was 0 direction and the logic of having the seating chart outside while everything else was inside didn’t dawn upon our guests.

There was zero supervision on the cardbox. Guests searched for my mom to let her know the box was full and it had to be emptied out. My mom connected with Deb on this she said she’d put the cards in her locked office. We had some guests arrive late and they had cards they gave us, we couldn’t find Deb but when we tried to get into her office we did so without a problem, it wasn’t locked and we came to cards all over her office. We are also missing a handful of cards to this day. It could very well be that guests came without gifts but my immediate thought is that it was probably lost somewhere in the office since there were cards scattered around the office.


All in all, we were disappointed with our experience at the Hellenic Center. One thing I can say, is that we partnered with Vinwood through the Hellenic Center and the food was AMAZING! Guests raved about it. The manager there that I interacted with me far more engaged than our coordinator at the Hellenic Center. She checked in enough times to make sure everything was going as planned and that my husband and I were happy.

The Hellenic Center exceeded all of our expectations! We had an absolutely amazing experience with the Hellenic Center, and Deb was so wonderful to work with! Our day was perfect, and that is thanks to Deb!

We just had our wedding at The Hellenic Center and the entire day was incredible. We experienced first hand their attention to detail, responsiveness, and talent. The event coordinator was changed during our wedding planning process which was initially unnerving but Deb stepped in and made our experience seamless, taking care of our every request and need with professionalism. If you are looking for an elegant Northshore wedding venue, look no further than this beautiful estate.

The Hellenic Center was the greatest venue we could have picked. We had a great day, it was all very easy and stress free. The whole process with the hellenic center was enjoyable and straightforward. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful the Hellenic Center is, not only is it absolutely beautiful on the inside and outside, but Tamie was fantastic to work with! Everything from start to finish about our day went smooth and Tamie made sure everything was perfect for us. The bridal suite and grooms suites upstairs at the venue were great for getting ready and the grounds are kept beautifully which makes for beautiful photos. It’s very reasonably priced as well! I can’t say enough about this venue and I promise you won’t be upset with your decision :)

The Hellenic Center was a stunning, perfect location for our October wedding. Tamie, Marisa and staff are top notch- helpful, organized and responsive. Our wedding was better than we dreamed of with every detail taken care of better than we imagined. The grounds and ballroom are absolutely gorgeous. I’d recommend to absolutely anyone.

We had the most amazing experience at the Hellenic Center! From the beautiful venue and grounds to the spectacular service. It was everything I could have dreamed of and more. The venue comes with the most amazing wedding planner, Tamie who made being a bride easy. She has so many years of experience and can tackle any issue that may come her way. I really enjoyed meeting with her and getting her bridal advice throughout the wedding process. I could not thank her enough for making my wedding day so amazing and memorable with no issues. I am sad it is over but so thankful for the fabulous experience! I would refer any future bridal to this venue.

I loved having my wedding at the Hellenic Center!! Tamie and her staff are amazing and always quick to answer emails or phone calls with any questions I had throughout the entire process. From the day I stepped into this beautiful venue I knew it was where I wanted to have my wedding reception. It’s so private and peaceful, the grounds are kept beautiful and the inside is classic and stunning. I loved getting ready in the bridal suite and having photos taken there. Everyone is so accommodating and willing to help, I am so thankful for them all. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a classic wedding

I cannot say enough good things about Tamie, her team and the Hellenic Center. Tamie made our dream wedding come true this August 2018. From the day we first visited the property through crunch time the two weeks before, Tamie had answers to questions before we even asked them. Her and her team’s timely responses, willingness to work with you, and ideas helped turn our wedding into one we would never forget. Our evening was flawless because of her work. Thank you Tamie for an amazing wedding!!!

My husband and I got married on April 28, and with major thanks to Tamie and the staff here at the Hellenic Center our day was absolutely perfect. Tamie was amazing and helpful throughout the entire process, and was present and available throughout the day of. The grounds were absolutely amazing - inside and outside of the venue was breathtaking. They truly helped us have a fairytale wedding. If I could give over five stars, I would. Unbelievable to work with! Just wonderful.

The Hellenic Center is the most amazing place to have your wedding! My husband and I had visited a LOT of venues during our wedding planning, and we fell in love with the Hellenic Center and knew it was the right place for us immediately. The venue is so beautiful and Tamie is wonderful to work with. We had our ceremony under the oak tree and reception inside the mansion in September and all of the landscaping, flowers, lighting, etc. that's already in place at the venue in the fall are so beautiful before you even add in your own things! The first time I had a chance to come downstairs to see the room set up was right as I was coming to walk down the aisle, and I could not believe what an amazing job everyone did with making my dream wedding come to life. I didn't have to worry about a thing, everything had been put together even better than I had imagined. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all run smoothly and beautifully - except for the button holding up my bustle breaking right in the middle of our first dance. Luckily, my mother in law had put sewing kits in the bathroom basket, and Tamie took me into her office and stitched me back up before I could start panicking about carrying my very long train around all night! I've had so many people say that this was the best wedding they've ever been to, and I owe a lot of that to the Hellenic Center! I would recommend Tamie and this venue to any couple without hesitation!!!
