We were the very first reception at this barn! It was perfect and Fran was amazing (the owner) it was beautiful and I wouldn't have had it any other place. And on our o e year anniversary just the two of us set up a private dinner in the barn and it was so amazing. I am so grateful for Fran letting us do that. So many memories.

Fiddlers barn is a beautiful venue, that sits near a beautiful pond out on the countryside. However, that is the only positive thing I can say about this venue. The owner Fran, was consistently difficult to reach by phone or email during my entire planning process. As for the reception itself, it was almost cancelled and I was blamed almost solely and blatantly in front of my family, for not having provided one piece of paperwork. This all not brought to my attention until my wedding day AS my guests were showing up to the venue. We were ASSURED by her, after asking at least 3 different times weeks before the wedding day, if there was any paperwork left to give her to make sure everything went smoothly for the day of. I was left feeling very angry and embarrassed that this miscommunication had to occur so late.
By the way, if you are interested in this place, you will need to provide ALL your own basic amenities such as bathrooms and running water. No vendors are included whatsoever. Costs will be high. It's your responsibility to make sure your vendors have all of their proper insurances correctly filled out as well as all permits. Good luck keeping in communication with the owner for that.To be honest, You're better off going to a wedding barn that includes at least basic amenities.
You may also meet her "friend" she hires, who rudely bosses your guests around for parking and acts like a "bouncer", following around all your friends and family during the entire reception. Fran is strict supervisor, who will hover around your friends and family monitor everything you do closely and uncomfortably. This unfortunate experience with unprofessional behavior, left all of my guests with a bad taste in their mouths. I completely regret choosing this venue to have my reception and I would never recommend it after my experience. I can't say any of my guests were pleased with their experience. Its is such a shame, because it is a very beautiful venue.
