The North Farm is a large, recently renovated wedding event venue located in Geneva, New York. Consisting of repurposed 19th century dairy barns, a large courtyard and a manicured ceremony location with gorgeous lake views, this venue is perfect for rustic wedding couples who are looking for something truly unique. With six different gathering spaces available, you’ll have an environment that is centered around sustainability and flexibility, allowing you to create a completely customized and memorable experience that you’ll cherish for a lifetime. The uniqueness of the space will provide a truly memorable wedding backdrop; you can also make use of the space for incredibly memorable wedding photos that you can cherish for years to come!

Facilities and Capacity

The North Farm includes two reception sites: the Dinner Barn and the Reception Barn. Both spaces feature rustic, yet modern amenities that will amaze you and your guests. The Dinner Barn is the dining area that is complete with 17 handmade, wood farm tables, 225 cafe chairs, and Edison lights to create a warm, romantic, and farm-chic banquet hall setting. The Reception Barn is located in the upstairs portion of the same building, and it is a wonderful gathering space for dancing and after-dinner events. The space features a stage where a DJ or a band can set up, a built-in bar and lounge area, and an elevated mezzanine for guests who want to catch views of the event from above. Both barns feature hardwood floors, exposed wooden walls and elegant string lights to complement your décor. WIth all of these fabulous features, The North Farm will be a hard place for your guests to forget!

Everything about the North Farm is perfect. My husband and I are both creative people, so having the freedom to decorate a space was something that was important to us. We wanted something simple yet beautiful. The Finger Lakes region is already a beautiful location, so we wanted a venue that displayed the incredible scenery.

We gave up on looking in the region. Nothing we looked at fit our aesthetic or our vision. Luckily, a friend recommended the sweet Elkin family who run The North Farm. I can't thank her enough! Everything about The North Farm is perfect and exactly what we were looking for! Their attention to detail is superb, the restoration of the barn is authentic and the views!!! We absolutely loved the flow of the space as well.

My husband and I got married in the middle of June. We were able to decorate the space with the help of family, friends and the Elkin family a few days before the wedding. It was a blast having everyone together. We got married on top of their hill overlooking the beautiful scenery of the farm and Seneca Lake. We had a beautiful band sing during the ceremony that Sophie recommended. It was a dream. The farm tables that were included in the dining room were exactly what we wanted. The new modern outdoor furniture is gorgeous and we loved the juxtaposition of old and new. The dance floor was perfect for 145 people and the guests who didn't want to dance got to relax in the lounge. Everything about the venue had a nice flow. So many photos were taken. Not one person could take a bad picture in this beautiful setting.

The Elkin family were such a delight to work with. Not only did we have an amazing wedding, but we also made new friends that we'll cherish for a lifetime! We're so thankful they welcomed us to their farm to celebrate our marriage.

Breathtaking

My daughter’s wedding was held at The North Farm in Geneva and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the venue.
The planning of a wedding that is held at a barn venue can be extremely overwhelming with so many details to be attended to. Sophie and Adrienne were very helpful. They were always more than willing to give us suggestions for vendors and help us with any other details that may have been needed.
The venue itself is simply breathtaking. Our guest were amazed at how beautiful everything was.

Magical experience

We held our wedding at The North Farm at the end of May. When we visited The North Farm for the first time, we couldn't help but fall in love. We took a tour of the barns, walked up the hill to the ceremony spot overlooking Seneca Lake, and had tea in the farmhouse kitchen after seeing the gorgeous Bridal Suite. We loved working with Sophie and Adrienne. The North Farm provides a totally magical, elegant, and flexible space that served as a blank canvas for our vision. Everyone raved about the venue and wants to get married there!
