Our Company
Brass Tacks Events was founded by Gia Rhodes and Kevin Molesworth, both of whom came to Central Texas by way of New York City where they worked in the events industry for more than 20 years combined. We take great care to ensure that your event is expertly planned, flawlessly executed and uniquely yours.

Our Founder
Kevin Molesworth, CSEP accepted a position right out of college working for Robert De Niro's acclaimed Tribeca Productions where he quickly learned the simple rule that, whatever the assignment, you must get it right the first time. Building on that foundation, Kevin went on to become one of the most sought after event designers in New York as well as an award-winning theatrical director and producer. Kevin considers himself fortunate to have had the great privilege to produce events for Walt Disney Productions, Target, Major League Soccer and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to name a few. Kevin graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Oswego and holds Bachelors' degrees in Theatre, English and Education.

Exceeded expectations
In the long run he helped to save me money on my wedding, made the wedding day happen without a hitch, and was a huge source of support. During the year 1/2 I was engaged he was always available to chat or even meet with me, or vendors, if I asked. (And I did not book full planning services either, so he definitely went above and beyond).
Right when I met Kevin he was extremely positive and this is what I love most about him. He was always upbeat. Whenever I would get stressed or worried about wedding details speaking to him always calmed my nerves. Having an expert available to answer questions made booking him even more worth it. I probably sent him a bazillion emails. So many worries came up while planning and details I did not anticipate. It was great having someone that knows other people in the industry and how to navigate the crazy wedding world! (he let me know when there were discounts or deals around town, which is always a plus).
The day of my wedding was very busy. Kevin kept everything on track. I literally did nothing on my wedding day but enjoy my friends and guests. I’m sure there were small problems that arose - but I didn’t know about them because Kevin handled them. And everything turned out beautiful!
Kevin was worth every penny I spent on him. Even if you have to cut corners somewhere else, hire a planner (and definitely check out Kevin)! It’ll save you money in the end and TONS of stress.

Kevin with Brass Tacks Events is one of the best coordinators out there. Not only are you getting a professional who has years of experience in every aspect of the industry, you are also getting an extremely personable person who is down to earth and a pleasure to be around. Working at a venue, we see coordinators of all kinds, most of whom are ok at best. But we always know when Kevin and his team are hired that our jobs will be much easier because of how talented he is!

We love working with Lindsey at Brass Tacks. Before the wedding Lindsey kept us informed on all of the decisions for the wedding well in advance of our most recent wedding together.
