From the very beginning, Wanda felt like a trusted friend who helped us along every step of the planning process. Wanda at Blue Linden did an amazing job with our wedding from beginning to end. We are a couple in California who wanted a Colorado Wedding, and so we had to coordinate everything from a distance. Wanda made that coordination so easy, and had a list of recommended vendors that we ultimately went with (and were so happy with her choices). We valued that she would vouch for us as a couple no matter what, and had our best interest at heart. She always went above and beyond to make sure that we felt comfortable in the lead up to and the day of the wedding. She even reminded us Californians to drink water and be careful of altitude sickness. If she hadn't done that, we might have had a different wedding day story.

We got married in Idaho Springs, CO in August 2024 and utilized Blue Linden’s Wedding Management Package. From our first meeting, Wanda was the most grounding and guiding force for us. There were times throughout the process where we would spin out on our own overthinking details. We would hop on a call with Wanda and all our concerns immediately melted away. Her experience and knowledge of the industry allowed her to ask questions we didn’t think of and answer our questions in a way that validated our concerns and resolved them comprehensively. She took great care and patience through many iterations of our timeline to ensure she truly understood us and our vision. She communicated with us in a straightforward manner on our evolving vision to ensure its feasibility and execute it perfectly. We had limited time at our rehearsal and Wanda was excellent at managing and instructing our wedding party and family. Our time was used efficiently, and everyone understood their role and how they fit into our vision. She helped our day be perfect, from the day-of coordination to all the guidance and support in the months prior. We really appreciated her help in coordinating with other vendors as our day got closer and we got busier. Hiring Wanda with Blue Linden Weddings & Events was one of the best decisions I made for my Summer 2023 destination wedding in Beaver Creek, CO. Wanda made planning a wedding from out of state incredibly manageable. She provided excellent vendor lists as well as endless information on the area. Throughout our many conversations, Wanda really took the time to get know us and our goals/vision for the day. She helped me keep on schedule as well as create a perfect day-of timeline. While all these things are imperative for a planner, Wanda's ability to juggle the endless tasks on the wedding day is truly an art form. She wrangled my rowdy wedding party, coordinated vendors, worked through weather-based decision, and supported me at every turn with a smile on her face. I have nothing negative to say about her!

(For those that like a bit of a background: we chose to have our wedding at a church in downtown Denver and the wedding reception in Sedalia, CO. We were looking for a wedding planner who could help us navigate the vendors, timeline, and coordination of transporting approximately 150 guests from one location to another. Along with this, the majority of our guests were from out-of-state and flying in that weekend.)

Wanda, Founder of Blue Linden Weddings and Events, worked with my husband and I for our wedding in June 2023 as our wedding planner. She was outstanding! From our very first conversation together, Wanda put us at ease with the wedding planning process and was extremely knowledgeable. She didn’t miss a beat in helping us streamline our thoughts and desires, helping us bring our vision to life.

For instance, she provided a month-to-month checklist of to-dos leading to the wedding day. She also included samples for the day-of-the wedding timelines. These were helpful in deciding how we wanted to execute our wedding.

Her communication was quick and responsive. She sent reminder emails and was open to phone calls, as needed. She also mediated between our vendors and venues, allowing us to be more focused on the details we enjoyed like cake tasting and picking out our linens. Furthermore, she had amazing connections with many of the local vendors, making conversations with those that we hired natural, organized and overall flawless.

She is knowledgeable in the Denver area, with excellent recommendations for places our out-of-state guests would like to explore and enjoy while in Colorado.

On the day of our wedding, she was there for the both of us every step of the way. She made the day seem effortless, allowing us to enjoy the time spent together with our friends and families, and took care of any of the unforeseeable issues on the big day. She went above and beyond, going to both venues at our request, helping set up before the ceremony and checking in on the bride and groom to make sure we were well taken care of throughout the day. She was very professional, kind to all our guests, and we never felt like she was overbearing in any way. She was there as someone we could lean on when we needed to, and also allowed the day to flow in its own natural way.

You will be thankful you decided to hire a wedding planner. Our BEST decision was to choose BLUE LINDEN! Wanda is the expert at all things wedding, her wisdom, guidance & attention to detail are remarkable. She makes you feel like her only client & she wants your day to be perfect for you. She listens to your vision & makes it happen. She becomes your friend. My daughter & I were planning between two states. Wanda kept us organized, she sends to do reminders along the way, made perfect vendor recommendations & coordinated all vendors for day of. We had a unique venue & she met us there with vendors 4 months prior to the wedding. She planned the layout for tables, chairs, band, bars etc. This was so helpful. When we were overwhelmed a call with Wanda would bring instant relief. She responds quickly & is available by phone or email. We could not envision the day of timeline, trying to coordinate with buses transporting guests from hotels to venue. This was stressful. A call with Wanda & within a few hours we had a detailed timeline. Stress gone. And the timeline worked out almost to the minute! There were a couple minor issues at the reception & Wanda & her assistant Tina were true professionals & handled them so we weren’t involved. Wanda is a lot of fun & she interacted with our guests & we received many compliments on our choice. She did so many unexpected things for us : picked up our dessert cookies on her way to the venue, set up the dessert table, got other vendors to take down tables & chairs & the list goes on. Wanda left us nothing to be concerned or stressed about leading up to & day of wedding. The wedding was perfect, lots of fun & a dream. I wish I had another daughter so I could work with Wanda again.
