Booking our wedding planner was one of the first things that we sought out to do when starting the planning process for our wedding. We were doing a destination wedding and had already chosen our venue, so the next step was to start interviewing planners. Planning our trip from Florida, we knew that the planner would be so important. As the groom, I was actually the one who was doing a lot of the narrowing down for my wife to review and give feedback on. One of the things that drew me in right away about Wanda was how direct she was. She didn’t shy away from telling me right away during our first call if something was realistic or not and wasn’t shy about saying if something was not as big of a deal as we were making it or vice versa. To us, this was such a valuable trait to possess as a planner. We didn’t want someone who would just go along with every whim and worry. We wanted someone who we could trust in for their expertise, wisdom, and guidance. Wanda delivered on all of this. She was incredibly helpful with keeping us on a timeline and reminding us of when certain things needed to be completed, she even came with us to our rentals vendor meeting when we planned a weekend in Colorado. During that time, she was so valuable in giving us variation ideas for table settings and other design options which would save us money, or create different feels, etc. She offered us vendor recommendations, helped with coordinating all our vendors as the big day approached, and took the reigns on the big day in such a way that provided us with so much ease and comfort that everything was being handled. Most of all, she is just such a genuine and great person and this made it easy for us to trust her. We feel very fortunate to have had her as our planner and you will be in great hands if you choose to do the same!

Hiring Wanda with Blue Linden Weddings & Events was one of the best decisions I made for my Summer 2023 destination wedding in Beaver Creek, CO. Wanda made planning a wedding from out of state incredibly manageable. She provided excellent vendor lists as well as endless information on the area. Throughout our many conversations, Wanda really took the time to get know us and our goals/vision for the day. She helped me keep on schedule as well as create a perfect day-of timeline. While all these things are imperative for a planner, Wanda's ability to juggle the endless tasks on the wedding day is truly an art form. She wrangled my rowdy wedding party, coordinated vendors, worked through weather-based decision, and supported me at every turn with a smile on her face. I have nothing negative to say about her!

Wanda is the expert at all things wedding, her wisdom, guidance & attention to detail are remarkable. She makes you feel like her only client & she wants your day to be perfect for you. She listens to your vision & makes it happen. She becomes your friend. My daughter & I were planning between two states. Wanda kept us organized, she sends to do reminders along the way, made perfect vendor recommendations & coordinated all vendors for day of. We had a unique venue & she met us there with vendors 4 months prior to the wedding. She planned the layout for tables, chairs, band, bars etc. This was so helpful. When we were overwhelmed a call with Wanda would bring instant relief. She responds quickly & is available by phone or email. We could not envision the day of timeline, trying to coordinate with buses transporting guests from hotels to venue. This was stressful. A call with Wanda & within a few hours we had a detailed timeline. Stress gone. And the timeline worked out almost to the minute! There were a couple minor issues at the reception & Wanda & her assistant Tina were true professionals & handled them so we weren’t involved. Wanda is a lot of fun & she interacted with our guests & we received many compliments on our choice. She did so many unexpected things for us : picked up our dessert cookies on her way to the venue, set up the dessert table, got other vendors to take down tables & chairs & the list goes on. Wanda left us nothing to be concerned or stressed about leading up to & day of wedding. The wedding was perfect, lots of fun & a dream. I wish I had another daughter so I could work with Wanda again.
