In short, going with La Vida Creations was the best decision we made for our wedding. Everything else - the food, the music, the venue - is temporary. The pictures La Vida took of our special day are timeless and we are going to cherish them forever. We are absolutely going to think of La Vida Creations when we need professional photographers for our future events, and we whole-heartedly recommend them for yours!

There are truly not enough good things to say about Betsy and her photography. Betsy also photographed my husband's brother's wedding, so we got to interact with her quite a bit throughout our engagement and wedding. She immediately made us feel so comfortable, and the engagement shoot session got us used to being in front of their cameras. They have experience working with pets, also, so we were so happy to get to include our dogs in the photos, too!

While wedding planning can be stressful, I always trusted that Betsy would be amazing and make the day so easy--and of course I was right! She and Jeff stayed in constant communication with us leading up to the big day, helping us put together a list of our "must have" shots and even a wedding day timeline. The day of, they were punctual and so sweet, and their calming energy definitely kept everyone else mellow and organized.

After the wedding, we were so antsy for the blog post to go live, and couldn't have been more amazed when it did! Betsy not only captured the major moments of our wedding day, but (more importantly) captured the feelings we had while celebrating. So many of the shots during the ceremony are of the wedding party and guests laughing hysterically, while others show the total connection and relief I had once my husband and I were together and could take a breath. They made sure to grab us for some special shots, but also did an awesome job letting us enjoy the day, and documenting those interactions as well. We so appreciate that they made our priorities their own, and provided the professional guidance we needed in order to document the day perfectly.

As I said, not enough words in the world to describe how great these people are. We will absolutely keep in touch and use La Vida in the future!

When looking for our wedding photographers, we didn't know where to start. Our wedding planner gave us a list of her top recommendations, and asked us to pay close attention to each photographer's style. We ended up loving La Vida Creations' portfolio, and loved them even more after meeting them in person! This husband and wife team works together flawlessly to get the most amazing shots from different perspectives. We didn't want those typical wedding shots that sometimes go more cheesy than cute; that is not Jeff & Betsy's style. They are great at getting candid shots, so much so that most of the people attending our wedding didn't even realize we had photographers there! We also did an engagement shoot with La Vida, something they highly recommended to get comfortable with taking professional, posed photos. It was during that shoot that we really got to know Jeff and Betsy, so that on our wedding day it was like having old friends around rather than vendors who you barely know. We have received so many compliments on both our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos, they are so beautiful! La Vida Creations does the most amazing work; we were so glad to have worked with them to capture the happiest day of our lives.

Just got our wedding album and...wow! It's so nice. Perfectly captured our day. We have great photos of the ceremony, both families, and of us with the kids. The album flows, the photo quality is excellent, the materials used are top-notch, it's just great. Jeff and Betsy were both there, taking photos in tandem, obviously each with a different objective, as they had different angles, lenses, etc. This resulted in a broad range of photos, close-ups, farther afield, and so on. We are extremely satisfied with our photos and with the service La Vida provided. They were very easy and professional to work with. Highly recommended.

Jeff and Betsy of La Vida Creations did a fantastic job with our outdoor small wedding, including a last minute relocation from beach to Balboa Park due to rain. During the ceremony they were invisible, but now we have many wonderful shots of us, and our families. After, we had the group photos and family photos, then done just before the heavy rain. Our wedding album is on super heavy paper, the images crisp and well laid out, All in all, we couldn't be happier, and recommend La Vida Creations Photography to all.

Jeff and Betsy are hands-down amazing! We were about to contract with another photographer, when we stumbled upon La Vida at the last minute and I had to have them if we could. They were able to squeeze us into their schedule. With just a couple months out before the wedding they were even able to include an engagement session for us. These two are so genuine and made both of us nerds feel so comfortable and relaxed. We couldn’t have gotten more beautiful photos. On the wedding day I was so sick, but they were so accommodating and comforting that it really took the edge off. We had to change venues day-of too, and they rocked it. Gorgeous pictures. They’ve got amazing gear, and are prepared for anything. Betsy even hooked my mom up with some industrial tape to put together the pearl necklace that broke as she was trying to put it around my neck. Serious professionals and worth every penny! Couldn’t have gotten any luckier with these two! We’re going to treasure these pictures forever.

Amazing! Words cannot express the emotion we felt when we saw the images Betsy and Jeff captured during our intimate elopement. It was as though they traveled back with us through our 22 year relationship and captured every significant moment. They made us feel very comfortable and are just genuine people. These storytellers have a skill set that surpasses all others!

Jeff and Betsy are TRULY professionals - fun and talented ones, to boot! We booked them as our wedding photographers back about a year and a half ago and have never regretted it for a single second. We first bonded over our love of the chow/lab mix as we both have fur babies of that variety ourselves, and instantly felt at ease and comfortable with them. All we can say is WOW! La Vida Creations Photography blew our mind from day one. We have never felt so at ease with a photographer as we did with Betsy and Jeff. They made it a point, from the first time we met, to be courteous, respectful, and excited about our wedding. We NEVER felt like we were “just another client”. They consistently made us feel as if we were their only clients (which we weren’t) but it really gave us the sense that they were invested in us as a couple, and clients second. Their service and product speaks for itself. They were adamant that they wanted to really capture us, and they did that by getting to know us and understand us. They captured the moments of our wedding beautifully. Their attention to detail is impeccable. They also interacted with our families and were nothing short of perfect.
