An easy-going, professional power couple!
Upon reaching out, I spoke with Danielle and she was super easy-going and professional. It was stress-free working with them -- they asked me to fill out a page or two about my preferences, we had a phone call a few months before our wedding to meet each other, and then got back in touch about a month before my wedding date about scheduling and logistics.
The day of, Danielle and Jared reflected that same easy-going attitude. They worked with my photographer to partner up when it made sense to. They worked really well as a team (they are husband and wife, after all :) ). As a bride, my definition of an amazing vendor is when they're quiet. This might be a weird thing to say, but that's when I know that they're professional and confident, and for a videographer, able to focus on capturing as much footage as possible without getting in the way of any other vendors.
We got our videos a few weeks after our wedding and they're SPECTACULAR. They gave us a couple of videos to help capture different elements of the day (highlight, ceremony, reception, and bonus footage). Nothing felt overproduced or undervalued -- they truly hit the mark on showing how our wedding was, representing every element really well. The end result looked natural and reflective of our day. We showed the videos to some family members who fell ill and couldn't attend last minute, and they thoroughly enjoyed all of the footage.

Side by Side is absolutely amazing! We have had the pleasure of working alongside them on numerous occasions and they are simply the best of the best! I am a professional wedding photographer and I needed a promotional video to showcase my business and myself while I was working. I commissioned Jared and Danielle to create my video after working with them at a previous wedding where we were both vendors. Jared and Danielle are so easy to work with - they are laid back, but professional at the same time. I did not know how difficult talking in front of a camera actually was until I sat down to do it. I thought for sure I had ruined the video and wasted everyone’s time. But when I got the video back from Jared and Danielle they had worked their editing magic and it was awesome! They had listened to all of my input and let me make changes to the video (which were actually very minor; they nailed the promo video from the start). I needed the video fast because I was relocating my business from San Diego, CA to Virginia Beach, VA and they were so accommodating. Jared and Danielle picked the perfect music to set the tone for the video. They are so amazing and professional I felt like I had to do very little work on my end for such an amazing product. If your business does not have a promotional video then you are missing out. I can’t thank Jared and Danielle of Side By Side Cinema enough.
Side by Side was a fabulous company to work with! I worked with them in February of 2012 and the entire wedding was so smooth. They are a very easy going and highly professional couple to work with.
