Meet The Next Best Men! We’re Wyatt, Evan, Rikki, and Justin—a close-knit crew of friends, photographers, and professional wedding-day wingmen who believe the best wedding photos are the ones that capture how your day actually felt.
Northern Michigan is especially close to our hearts. Rikki was born and raised in Traverse City, and it’s also where Wyatt and Rikki tied the knot themselves—with Evan behind the lens, of course! From waterfront weddings along Grand Traverse Bay and vineyard celebrations on the Leelanau Peninsula to beautiful venues in Charlevoix, Petoskey, and beyond, we love everything Michigan weddings have to offer. We also photograph weddings throughout Grand Rapids, Saugatuck, and the surrounding West Michigan area.
Our approach is all about candid, documentary-style wedding photography. We’ll find the beautiful light, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and make sure you get those gorgeous portraits. But our favorite moments are usually the ones nobody planned—the happy tears, ridiculous dance moves, unexpected laughs, and little interactions that make your wedding yours.
We’re a small team of longtime friends, not a big photography agency. When you book us, you’re booking the actual people behind the photos. We pride ourselves on being easygoing, professional, and genuinely fun to have around.

Captured the magical day perfectly!
Wyatt and Rikki did an amazing job photographing our Northern Michigan Wedding! They were responsive and flexible while coordinating the "first look" photos, and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. The pictures we received so far are truly incredible and really capture how beautiful the day was. I have gotten so many compliments on how amazing our photos turned out, I knew I had to write a review to praise their great work! Not to mention how fairly priced their packages are, we definitely got the most bang for our buck. I recommend them for anyone getting married in beautiful northern Michigan!

The pictures are a freaking dream!
Wyatt and Evan were literally the most fun photographers we have ever experienced! Wyatt even trudged through some Florida terrain to get some shots for our bridal party as well! They were so helpful from our first phone session with Wyatt all the way leading up to helping us pose and have some fun on our big day! We got our sneak peak within 5 days and are looking forward to the rest of the pictures! If you are someone who values photos and capturing memories in an artistic way- these are the photographers for you! Thank you so much, guys!!

Amazing to work with!
Evan was absolutely amazing to work with. All our guests commented on how they couldn’t wait to see the pictures because the photographer seemed like he was really great. And boy oh boy were they right! Our pictures were SO good. Next Best Men will give you a better than expected rate and the most beautiful pictures. Do not look any further!

Truly the next BEST MEN!!
Evan from Next Best Men was our wedding photographer for our summer wedding in the NC mountains. We had him come for 6 hours of photography. He did an amazing job capturing our day. Was very easy to communicate with and made sure to get all of our requested shots. All of our family and friends raved about Evan during the wedding. He was so friendly and easy going. I would recommend this group to anyone getting married as they travel all over the country!!
