Dream Event Staffing!

Austin's Elite were an integral part of our wedding day. They provided all the staffing for our event and our Day of Coordination services. On the day of the wedding, I walked outside to a whole crew of people executing our vision without any issues. They had everything set up perfectly and created an absolutely magical event for us. We only had one hour from our venue opening to guests arriving and they pulled it off perfectly. They were so kind, attentive to guests and all night long delivered exceptional service. We loved Austin's Elite!

Great attitudes, So helpful!

We hired Austin's Elite Events to bartend, as well as pick up our catering order from Central Market. They handled the alcohol order, the table linens, and food seamlessly. Our rep, Shannon was beyond helpful and patient with us during the entire wedding planning process. The staff at our wedding were so kind and genuine people. We received so many compliments from guests about how kind and helpful the staff were. I've been to a handful of weddings were the staff and/or bartenders don't seem particularly happy to be there, but our team from AE were happy and kind the whole night. I honestly wished we had gotten more time to spend with them! We're so thankful for their hard work and great attitudes and the huge role they played in making our day so perfect. THANKS AE!!

Fantastic Experience!

We used Austin's Elite for staff for my wedding and the welcome party (as well as previous events I've hosted for work) and continue to have the best of experiences. The staff are on time, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and overall fantastic. Will use them for all of my events in the future.

Joel and his team provided excellent service and bartending!

We hired Austin’s Elite staffing for our wedding at Prospect House at the recommendation of our planner from Lovely Day Events. Joel and his team did an excellent job! We brought in catering from Central Market for appetizers, Micklethwait Craft Meats for dinner, Rolling in Thyme and Dough for dessert, and Whataburger for the late night snack. Needless to say there were multiple moving pieces and Austin’s Elite did an excellent job at set-up, serving food, bartending, bussing and more. The waitstaff was very attentive and took care of everything behind the scenes. When the late night snack was dropped off by Whataburger, Austin’s Elite staff brought them around to guests whether they were seated or even on the dance floor. The bartenders did an excellent job - they were attentive, efficient and very friendly. I highly recommend working with Joel and his team from Austin’s Elite!

Austin's Elite made our wedding run smoothly

We hired Austin's Elite to staff our wedding at Pecan Springs Ranch. We had three different food trucks so we needed bussing, bartenders, etc. We met with them during our final walk through and they were very organized. They noted everything we needed and provided it for our wedding. On our wedding, they were on top of everything. They worked hard and the bartenders were great. We would definitely recommend them to help with your event.

Hired Austin's Elite for our Sangeet (pre-wedding event) - reasonable and professional

Haley, Colin, Shannon, and team, you are absolute pros! Thank you for ensuring everything went seamlessly!

We hired Austin's Elite for our April 2022 Sangeet at Brodie Homstead, and they went above and beyond in making sure how to cater an Indian event. They were also way more reasonable than any other option. Shannon took so much time to work with us to understand what we needed and also to explain the pricing behind everything.

Great Day-Of Service Staff, Not the Easiest Quoting/Communication

Austin’s Elite handled the buffet service and general food cleanup at our wedding in February and their staff conducted themselves professionally all evening – kind and considerate to all of our guests, and worked efficiently to get everything packaged and tidied up at the end of the night. The process of getting a quote and details ironed out was a little bit trickier, which was partly due to the extremely truncated timeline we had to plan our event (~2 months). Our contacts at Austin’s Elite were always responsive, but it wasn’t entirely made clear to us how much time we were allotted to discuss/coordinate under the basic coordinating fee. We really appreciated AE being flexible on some deadlines that we had missed amidst the scramble – however, when we asked for a few more hours to review the contract before signing, our contact was a little brusque on the phone and directly told us that management was quite mad about how much time we had taken up with questions/negotiating before signing. We understood where she was coming from and owned up to previously being tardy, but it also immediately made us feel like problem-clients simply for wanting clarity on details before signing a multi-thousand-dollar contract. The experience had a bit of a chilling effect on our subsequent communications, as we felt like any further questions or requests would be unwelcome. Ultimately, our final questions were answered and the AE team provided a few extra supplies that we asked for, and everything went off without a hitch on the day of. The rates they charge for supplies and service appeared fairly reasonable compared to other staffing companies in town, and although there was some confusion in how certain line items broke down, their infrastructure and resources made their service reliable and effective. We’re willing to chalk up the tense communications to both sides juggling a lot of correspondence, and we left our event really pleased with how everything turned out.

Extremely Unprofessional and Lacking Accountability

We hired Austin Elite for our wedding. We decided to order our food from a restaurant. Austin Elite was responsible for picking up the food and plating the meals. Days before the wedding, I made a spreadsheet showing who was at each table and what each person was eating (this was not requested by Austin Elite). I did this to make it easier for them. On the wedding day, interactions with the staff of Austin Elite were unpleasant. My wife was told by our venue that she could park her car in the driveway to unload her car of items for our wedding. The driver from Austin Elite was unaware of this and was very rude towards her about her car being parked there. The staff was also rude to a few of our guests…not giving them charger plates and a table setting because they “thought they were our vendors.” I ordered water goblets for each table from an outside vendor. We paid for full bar service from Austin Elite and they informed us that they had their own plastic cups. They served alcohol from our water goblets because they thought they were for our signature drinks. We had no water goblets left over for actual water. When the driver went to pick up the food from the restaurant, he never checked the order. The restaurant forgot to pack mashed potatoes. When the food arrived at the venue, the food was not checked for nearly 2 hours until they started plating it. Checking the food order is a part of Austin Elite’s policy. Because of this slip up, they had to go back to the restaurant and get the potatoes. We were supposed to be served dinner at about 7:15 pm. We were not notified about the slip up until they made the decision to hold dinner until they got the potatoes. Our guests were not served dinner until almost 8:30 pm. In addition to this, the plating of the food was wrong. Austin Elite sent us home with nearly 27 pieces of chicken cutlets that were supposed to be served to the guest who ordered chicken. We ended up having to pay an additional amount of money to extend our time at the venue. I spoke to a supervisor at Austin Elite about the issues and she seemed to understand and wanted to accommodate us. That supervisor spoke to Kim (the owner) and she did not agree with what we were asking for. When we spoke to Kim, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. There was zero accountability on her behalf and she had no idea what happened at our wedding. The staff that night kept trying to cover for themselves. The driver communicated to Kim that he had arrived at the restaurant on time and that the restaurant took 45 minutes to bring out the food order. Kim said that had the restaurant brought the food out on time, they would have had time to check the order when the driver got back and dinner wouldn’t have gotten pushed back. Upon investigation with the restaurant and their camera footage, the driver lied. The restaurant brought out the food immediately. Kim would not acknowledge or address this. She said we didn’t hire enough staff for what we wanted done. We had communicated with Austin Elite several times about exactly what we wanted done and it was never communicated that we needed to hire more staff. Kim also said that it wasn’t their responsibility to know how to plate the food. She said that her supervisor went above and beyond creating a spreadsheet for plating the meals - she was unaware that I created the spreadsheet without them requesting it. This was a terrible experience and I would not recommend hiring them for your event.
