Hummingbird House is a picturesque banquet hall and garden wedding venue located in Manchaca, Texas. Originally the country home of horticulturist, Tom Tinguely, he and his event-planning partner opened the doors of this elegant property in 2009 to allow couples to celebrate their love on-site. With both indoor and outdoor event spaces, Hummingbird House is an ideal location for an unforgettable wedding celebration. The Outdoor Courtyard provides a magnificent natural location for a heartfelt wedding ceremony. Situated on over five acres of luscious tropical landscape, your guests will enjoy soaking up the vibrant and fragrant floral surroundings as you exchange your vows. This location is also ideal for an evening ceremony, with ample outdoor lighting provided to create a magical ambiance. Afterward, guests can seamlessly transition to the 400-square-foot cocktail pavilion for a sophisticated cocktail hour as you make use of the extensive grounds for your wedding photographs. The cocktail tent features pristine white drapery and a bronze chandelier to elevate your event.

The Reception Pavilion comprises of a 3,200-square-foot, glass-paneled wedding pavilion. It is climate-controlled to allow you to create the perfect ambiance regardless of the weather. White, silk draping throughout creates a fairytale aesthetic, while three iron chandeliers add an extra touch of grandeur to this space. The glass-paneled walls allow the surrounding beauty of this space to be ever-present during your stylish reception event.

Dedicated get-ready rooms have been created on-site to allow for comfortable and luxurious preparations for your day. The bridal suite offers a spacious lounge, dedicated dressing room, and covered patio for your pleasure. The groom’s suite features a 50-inch TV, foosball table, leather sofas, and more.

A selection of tables and Cross Back chairs are included in the rental of this venue to accommodate up to 175 guests for your event. Event planning is offered to ensure that you get the most from this venue for your special day. Their team is happy to provide you with a preferred vendor list, but also allow outside vendors to serve your day with prior approval.
