Gorgeous, Special, Charming, and Intimate

Your wedding venue search is OVER! I toured at least 9 wedding venues in the Austin area but didn't even need to see the entire property of The Hummingbird House before I knew we'd finally found our venue. The gardens are truly breathtakingly beautiful. The trees offer great shade during cocktail hour and the reception hall is air-conditioned and gorgeous, which could also act as a nice "Plan B". Because of the stunning gardens, we felt like we saved a lot of money in the floral budget because of how naturally beautiful the venue was. It is so secluded, quaint and quiet. We felt like the whole world around us paused just for our wedding. The bridal suite and groom suite were very clean, organized, and the perfect size for both groups. It is such a special and charming place. What adds to it being so charming and special are the owners. While we didn't get to meet Danny's partner, we had several vendors talk very highly about the two. Danny was an absolute blessing. From the moment we met during our venue tour, to the grand exit on our wedding day, he was there for us ensuring we were taken care of. We hired him for the wedding planning service and decor set up which was the best decision we made. I can assure you that the service and personal touch that Danny offers is not found at any other local venue. He went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfection. As the bride, I was able to have an stress-free wedding day, trusting that Danny was taking care of everything. We feel honored to have been able to make our lifelong promise in such a beautiful space.

The Perfect Place

HH could not have been more perfect! From within minutes of our tour, my now husband and I knew it would be the place. It is private, spacious, has amazing accommodations including grooms suite and bridal house, and the gardens are so beautiful, they don't require anything extra to still be incredible. We had a very minimalistic style which fit perfectly since this venue is so gorgeous on its own. The cherry on top was getting to work with Danny and Kelsey for planning and day of coordination as well. They truly made our day what it was and we could not be more thankful for them!

Get married in a secret garden

Since the first moment we saw Hummingbird House, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The venue is a beautiful secret garden with so many great spaces for guests to mingle and play games. The Hummingbird House team maintains the grounds so well that you hardly need any decorations - it is so beautiful on its own! Our photographer and videographer both commented on how easy it would be to shoot/film at Hummingbird House because there are so many spectacular spaces. The pictures we’ve gotten so far are breathtaking and seem like they were taken in some magical forest.
Even in the Texas summer, our guests still wanted to be outside sipping drinks and hanging out in the garden during the reception. The air-conditioned tent was a wonderful respite from the heat during our June wedding. The floor to ceiling windows and the white drapery make the tent magical.
Danny Hatt (the owner) is incredible! He was so patient with our incessant questions and accommodated many of our requests. Danny has such positive energy and helped ensure our day was exactly what we wanted it to be. We could not recommend Hummingbird House enough!

Absolutely Loved It

I'm so thankful I had my wedding at the Hummingbird House! Danny was an amazing coordinator and point-of-contact the whole time we worked together. He was so kind, calm, and fun and really helped me in every way he could. We planned our wedding quickly, and even despite the quick turn-around he was a dream come true!

The venue was gorgeous as well, even during the off-season! The grounds provided great photo opportunities and we were so cozy in the tent. It served us so well and our guests loved it! Nothing but praise and thanks for Danny and the Hummingbird House!

The French Summer Garden Brunch of our Dreams!!

We chose this venue because of the natural beauty of the grounds. Danny was so kind and helpful and ansered all of our question. The venue was gorgeous. The two suites on the property for getting ready were amazing. We also loved that there were chairs, tables, and a climate controlled tent included in the rental! This made our rental process weven easier. We did silk a couple silk flower garlands, but didn't need to allocate a ton for florals since the venue was decked out in plants and flowers already!

Whimsical venue

My husband and I had our wedding on October of 2021 and it was such a beautiful day. From start to finish Danny was there, helping us along the way before the big day. He was so wonderful to work with and helped so much in making sure everything was perfect. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with all the floral, it just felt whimsical, makes for beautiful photos. I definitely recommend to get married here!

Perfect garden wedding!

It was such a pleasure working with Danny at the Hummingbird House to make my wedding vision a reality! Danny was my wedding coordinator, and I couldn't not have asked for the day to have gone any better! The entire day went seamlessly! I would not have changed a thing! The Hummingbird House was so gorgeous with all the beautiful botanicals! The entire day was completely stress-free! Danny also did all the table arrangements which looked absolutely gorgeous! He set everything up the day of and I didn't have to worry about anything! I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day! Thank you Danny and the Hummingbird House for providing me and my husband such wonderful memories of our wedding!

Magical Place Looks Great in Photos

A magical place to match a magical day! I was so happy that we selected Hummingbird House as our wedding venue. Danny was so friendly, and helped us pick the perfect date for our wedding. He was quick to respond, and let us come to the venue to do walkthroughs a couple of times. The venue is so beautiful and they do a great job of making sure everything looks nice. My wedding pictures are amazing, and I give this venue five stars for anyone considering of picking them for your big day.

It’ll take your breath away!

This wedding venue is the best in Austin. It feels like a breath of fresh air upon walking in and feels like a floral oasis. It is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. I loved that there was so much space for guests to venture out into during the reception and how it didn’t confine guests to one space. The ceremony area is so gorgeous that we didn’t add many extra decorations. The AC in the reception area is the best touch during a summer wedding in Texas. Danny was our on-site manager and was the best and most fun to work with. He always met us with high energy, helpful suggestions and solutions. He was professional at all times and made our wedding vision come true. I would not change a thing about our special day being held at Hummingbird House.

Dream Come True!

If you are undecided, look no further. I think the easiest way to state what sets Hummingbird apart is that, if we had our wedding elsewhere, it wouldn’t have been nearly as beautiful and perfect. I know the trend is barns but I was someone who absolutely did not want to get married in a barn and I was thrilled when I found this place!

Hummingbird House’s outdoor garden as a ceremony space for our February was gorgeous!! I purposely added very little floral because I felt like the location alone was already beautiful and I still stand by that decision. Then you add the top to bottom glass windows with the beautiful tent shaped draping with a couple of chandeliers? Oh it was just perfect!

Along with that, Danny was an absolute joy to work with from planning to picking up our gifts and things the next day, I enjoyed every conversation. Let’s not forget what a lifesaver he was on our wedding day! For everything we wanted, he was all over it. For everything we forgot, he was all over it. He did everything from bring me hot water for tea to help my mom bustle my dress.

My friend’s husband is one of those habitual groomsmen who seems to be in everyone’s wedding including ours haha and he said it was the most beautiful venue he has ever seen. He, and so many others, were so impressed. I can go on and on but flip through the pictures. I tried to add pictures from different parts of the venue to give you an idea.

Fairy tale atmosphere with the best Coordinator on the planet!

This place was incredible. I am going to break it down into key parts:
1) The ceremony space: When you think of a fairy tale wedding this is what you have in mind. Our ceremony was on July 5 at 5:30pm. The temperature was 95 degrees...and all the guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. Not one person complained about the heat! Based on the time all the seats were in the shade despite the venue be very open and spacious. Seeing people's reactions when they walked in was so exciting!
2) Reception tent/area: Very nicely air conditioned and was plenty spacious for 190 guests. The dance floor was large but still close to all the tables to make it easy for everyone to dance. There is a great outdoor area next to the tent where we set up yard games which were a huge hit!
3) Coordinator: Courtney is completely amazing! The words I am about to write won't do her justice. There is an extra fee to get her day of support but my wife and I couldn't imagine executing this event without her. She had every detail for every vendor on point. She tracked people down for specific events (cake cutting, the Horah, receptions exit, drone photo, etc.) . Everyone tells you that your wedding day is about you and your bride/groom but in reality it often feels that isn't the case. I can tell you that Courtney makes you feel like that day is about you. She made sure we had food, that we got drinks, that I didn't have to worry about anything besides dancing. In almost every case she had things taken care of before I had to ask her. I had 100% confidence that she was going to make the event successful and she delivered. Even our guests couldn't believe how good she was. She absolutely made our day amazing.
4) Tips for the venue: The venue comes as-is with no catering, bartending, DJ, speakers, musician, etc. This was a plus for us because it gave us the freedom to hire the best vendors possible and to not have to use ones from a specific list. Truth be told we ended up using some of their preferred vendors (catering, string music, flowers, etc.) only because they were so good! We also save a TON on alcohol! We had top shelf liquor from Specs (MacCallan 12, Grey Goose, Hendrick's, etc.) and beer and wine for 190 people for around $3000. All the vendors we chose had worked at Hummingbird House at some point and all love it! It made working with multiple vendors much easier because they know the space. One additional benefit is that you get the venue for the entire day! No one else is having a wedding before or after yours so the flexibility of when to start and end is significant. Please note, or venue cost was for 13 hours!!!!
After looking back at our wedding there isn't one thing we would change. This venue and Courtney are incredible!

Best day of my life

My husband and I got married at the Hummingbird House on May 11, 2019 and I cannot say enough good things about it. Of course, the venue itself is gorgeous. The grounds are pristine and everything is tastefully done. But that is not what sold us on this place, it was the customer service. From the moment we toured the venue, we were treated with warmth and respect. The owner, Danny, was professional yet fun and showed us that he truly cared about our day. We worked the coordinator Courtney some as well and she was equally as amazing. Danny was our coordinator for our day of because Courtney was out of town and he absolutely blew us away. He put me so at ease, had an answer to all of my many questions, and just had every little detail taken care of. Booking this venue was the best decision we made for our wedding.

Natural, Whimsical, Bohemian

Everything about this venue is absolutely amazing. From the natural aesthetics to the add-on packages.. we were thoroughly in love with doing business with this venue and thoroughly in love with how our wedding day turned out. Courtney was a godsend. We couldn’t be happier with how beautiful our day was.

Beautiful!

We had our wedding at the Hummingbird House on March 15th and couldn't have been happier with the venue. Our guests were extremely impressed with how beautiful the venue is and how many locations within it were ideal for pictures. Danny is amazing and was very easy to work with during the booking process and Courtney was ridiculously helpful in the lead-up to the wedding and on the actual day. The location is great and they'll even let the guests leave their vehicle at the venue overnight if they've had one too many. I highly recommend Hummingbird House for your wedding!

Hummingbird House is a fantasy venue straight from our dreams with a staff that is marvelous to work with. We discovered this venue online and setup a tour right away. The venue speaks for itself, with a beautiful garden that doesn't need much decoration at all, especially for the ceremony. We had our wedding at the end of March and the gazebo was fully flowered and our guests made so many compliments about the venue. Not only that, but Danny and Courtney were amazing to work with! Danny was kind and made us feel welcome right away on our tour, and Courtney, our day of coordinator.... no words can describe how helpful she was on our big day. From coordinating with our vendors and making sure everything went smoothly, to mitigating surprises that inevitably come up on a wedding day, she made our day perfect and made things that could have been disastrous funny memories.
They also are a really flexible venue that allows you to pick the vendors that will make your day special, but they don't leave you in the dark and do provide awesome preferred vendors as well.
Cannot recommend this venue enough!

This venue is amazing! I looked at several venues in Austin but nothing compared to the natural beauty and amazing outdoor/indoor space for our wedding. We looked at countless wedding venues in and around Austin, but each venue we visited was missing something. When we finally visited Hummingbird House we knew immediately it was going to be the venue for our big day. The venue itself is absolutely magical, from all the exotic flora and fauna, to the pool and the little architectural touches around the property. The plants at Hummingbird House are beautiful and there are so many of them you don’t really need to get as many flowers for your big day as you would have at most other venues. Standing on the wedding grounds you are surrounded by so much breathtaking nature. The staff were amazingly friendly and a true delight to work with. Courtney (coordinator) and Danny (owner) really went out of their way to take care of us. We even had some of our vendor contacts email us to tell us what what an amazing job Courtney is doing as our coordinator and what a pleasure she is to work with. Our big day went off without a hitch and we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop for the pictures or setting for the big celebration with family and friends. If you’re on the fence or just trying to figure out where you want to get married, visit Hummingbird House and experience the magic for yourself!

Hummingbird House checked off ALL of the boxes for a wedding venue for us! I was starting to lose faith we would find a venue that didn't have a secret clause that we would discover after we got home and reviewed the contract.
Hummingbird House was completely transparent with us and worked with us to make our day everything we wanted from day ONE. And let me say, the beautiful gardens in the venue helped us save a lot of money in decorations. Who needs to bring in floral arrangements when you have beautiful mother nature tended so beautifully? Courtney was lovely to work with for anything logistical we needed and Danny keeps the venue looking like a fairytale! When our wedding photos came back, I thanked my lucky stars again that I picked Hummingbird House, the lush green backdrops were so gorgeous! I highly recommend a visit to the venue, you won't find a better match in the Austin area!

Hummingbird House was our first venue to tour and we wish it had been our last. We went to one other venue appointment because we did not want to be rude and cancel an hour before. That second place never stood a chance. Hummingbird House was our venue from the moment we got into the Bridal Suite and met Danny. I remember emailing him from the parking lot of that last venue asking him to send us the contract. We couldn't dare let anyone grab our date by wasting more time with other places. Even our puppy Vladimir loved it!

We may be five months behind in our review, but my husband, Kai, and I had a better day than we could have ever imagined for our wedding. The weather was amazing, (I'm giving Courtney that credit) the venue was set up and arranged perfectly, and we never missed the important moments of our wedding thank to Courtney's ninja-like day of coordinating skills. She knew just when to be there to help us and when to let us sit back and soak it all in.

Thank you to the amazing team. As a coordinator myself, I don't know how they do this with the small staff that they have. Goes to show that it's not about the number of staff members, rather, it's about the quality and heart of the people who work there. They do the work of 10 people on a daily basis and are in the business of ensuring perfection for their clients. We hope to call them friends from here on out and cannot wait until we have the opportunity to visit HH again.

We are so happy we chose Hummingbird House to be the place we celebrated our special day! Hummingbird House was the first and only venue we visited and that's all it took. I knew I didn't want to waste time looking anywhere else because I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. Not only is the venue breathtaking but Courtney is amazing. The minute she took over, a load was lifted off my shoulder and I knew I was in good hands. I'm still told how beautiful the wedding and place was. You won't regret choosing Hummingbird House!

If you are trying to decide whether or not to book this venue, DO IT! This was by far the best choice I made when planning my wedding. Courtney is beyond amazing and I would have been completely lost without her the day of the wedding. Not only is this an amazingly beautiful place to have a wedding, but Courtney goes above and beyond, making this venue well worth the money you will pay for it.

I can't say enough about how beautiful the Hummingbird House was on our wedding day. Courtney and Danny were amazing. The day-of I was able to relax and enjoy getting ready, while Courtney oversaw the decorations and directed the vendors where to go. All of our guests kept telling us they couldn't believe how gorgeous the venue was. It really was the wedding my husband and I dreamed of. Thank you!

We had our wedding here on June 18th and are officially obsessed with Hummingbird House. Courtney was AMAZING and made sure every detail was perfectly in place. The venue is magical - all of the greenery and flowers make it feel like an enchanted garden. The small details such as the succulent walls and string lights add a lot too - it is intimate, romantic, and beautiful without any added decorations. My day went perfectly with Courtney's help coordinating. I can't thank Hummingbird House enough for our great wedding! All of my guests raved about how amazing of a venue it is, and I have nothing but great memories of our wedding.

Exceeded all expectations! I wanted a venue that could provide an outdoor ceremony area and tented reception. When we visited Hummingbird House there was no need to look further. The venue is a dreamy garden oasis! The climate controlled pavilion was an added bonus. Getting married the first week of March ran the risk of it being cold so it was nice to have the option of a heated reception area if needed. Danny and Courtney are awesome! We met with Danny to see the venue and he was very helpful with all our questions and offering up ideas. I loved that HH gives a preferred vendor list but you are not obligated to use it. We ended up using most vendors from their list but it was nice to have the freedom to choose and not for an added fee like most venues out there. They actually understand that it's your wedding and are very accommodating and helpful to make sure your vision comes to life. One of the best thing about HH is we could actually relax the day of, enjoy mimosas and have fun during our getting ready process.
I ended up planning everything myself leading up to the wedding and then having Courtney as our day of coordinator. She is the best! When we met her for our planning meeting she was on top of everything. She helped us with the layout, schedule, and coordinating with all the vendors which was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. Courtney made the day of run smoothly and everyone in the family, including my parents, was able to actually enjoy the wedding without worrying. 100% worth adding her service in. The day of was absolutely perfect. The property was gorgeous, the weather was perfect, and everyone had so much fun. I couldn't imagine a better venue and the HH team helped make our wedding a dream!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this venue along with Courtney and Danny! We booked this venue VERY last minute (10 days before our April wedding) when our other venue suddenly couldn't accommodate us, and they were nothing less than a God-send. We got extremely lucky that they'd just had another couple reschedule and were able to squeeze us in! Courtney was amazing while we were replanning our entire wedding during that 10 days and did everything she could to help us get everything lined up perfectly. On the day of, she made sure everything went smoothly (despite the monsoon that blew in that evening) and we had a beautiful wedding day. As far as the actual venue goes, I don't know that I can find words to describe just how beautiful the grounds are. It's a perfectly manicured garden, unlike so many other venues that are overpriced dead fields. There are gorgeous water features and different types of flowers everywhere that make for amazing pictures. We ended up taking back a lot of the decor that we'd purchased once we booked this venue, because it just wasn't necessary. Absolutely amazing!

Beautiful Venue... Just had my wedding oct 16th, it was the perfect backdrop to the most important day of my life. Courtney is the greatest! She is very easy to talk to, professional, organized, and very responsive. She made sure everything ran smoothly and it did! Worth every penny spent to have such a great venue to host my wedding.

This venue is absolutely perfect. I can't imagine a more beautiful setting for our wedding and reception. Courtney, the on-site coordinator was such a pleasure to work with. She was quick to respond to questions prior to our wedding and day of she was an absolute life saver. She made my wedding completely stress free which enabled me to have the time of my life. I highly recommend this amazing venue. Its perfect for all types and styles of events!

I fell in love with the venue online, and it was absolutely stunning when I finally got to tour it with Courtney. I changed my wedding date (only by a day :) ) to make sure I could book this venue. The venue has a lot of amenities that many others didn't offer (tables, chairs, beautiful grounds), or connections with other vendors to make everything as easy as possible. Courtney was amazing during the entire wedding process, and even though I had hired outside coordinators, she was there every step of the way the day of, immediately getting on the phone and fixing a linen rental mix-up with the vendor even though they were closed! She was incredibly professional and attentive to details.

First of all, every aspect of this venue is GORGEOUS. From the Bridal Suite to the ceremony area, the details and natural beauty of this venue are stunning. Another thing we really liked about this venue is that it was inclusive of so many things (chairs, guest tables etc.), which saved us a lot of money and stress in the end!

My highest praise, however, goes to the staff of Hummingbird House. Courtney, our coordinator, made everything so incredibly seamless for us - I couldn't imagine doing this without her! Not only was she an amazing asset throughout the planning and day-of coordination, but she really just brought an amazing attitude and spirit to everything that will always be remembered. Words can't express how much we loved this venue!

If you want a beautiful memorable wedding, get married here! Every inch of this place is simply beautiful. I was worried, getting married in late June that it would be too hot or not lush and gorgeous and I was wrong! It was absolutely perfect. Everyone there was so accommodating and easy to work with. So many people have told me how beautiful the venue was. People who have seen our pictures ask me about the venue commenting about how many different backdrops there are in pictures and how amazing the place looks. I am so grateful we chose the Hummingbird House.

I'm in love with Hummingbird House. This is probably the most beautiful venue in Austin but I'm biased because they helped me pull of my dream wedding.

Weddings can be stressful but Courtney will be right there with you the entire way. She was amazing. She took care of everything. She was 2 steps ahead and had the whole wedding under control. I want her to be my life coach.

The venue is beautiful. It was everything I dreamed it would be. It's so romantic. Thanks to Hummingbird House and Courtney for making my dream wedding come true!

I can't say enough about this venue and Courtney Gayle. They made the entire experience & most of all my wedding day, one of the most memorable and amazing days of my life. They were always so helpful and prompt about everything! The wedding turned out beautiful and stress free on the day of the wedding thanks to Courtney Gayle. I would recommend this venue to anyone and, I assure you, you will have a great experience and you will be glad you chose the Hummingbird House for any event you are planning!

The Hummingbird House is beautiful! Everyone loved it and thinks it creates a "fairy tale" wedding. I agree, it was a wonderful venue. Danny, one of the owners showed us around. He was great. Courtney helped us along the way and was there through the rehearsal and big day making sure everything went smoothly. She did an amazing job, and you would be lucky to have her helping you through your wedding day. There is a designed bridal suite and groom's suite, which is great (and not available at all venues). Everything is outside, beautifully manicured lawns and flower beds, and has super cute lighting all around. The package includes the wedding seating and tables and chairs at the receptions which is a big savings. We loved that there was a tented reception area, dedicated area for the wedding, and a separate bar area. We had a cocktail hour while we were taking pictures and there was plenty of space for yard games and guests to sit, drink and chat. Courtney helped with all of the set up the day of as well as packing everything up and getting it into cars for us to get it home. Overall, is was perfect and we were so happy that we decided to go with Hummingbird House.

Wow, the Hummingbird House and Courtney are amazing! I did not hire a wedding coordinator, and a big draw for me on Hummingbird House, other than the beautiful garden, was Courtney. She is very organized, communicative and helpful. The only unfortunate thing was that the weather dropped 40 degrees in a day! And it dropped to 26 degrees F that night. Wow. We had to have the ceremony in the tent, but it was so pretty, and Courtney had organized with me 2 days before to rent propane tanks and tent heaters...which was beyond helpful! It was still pretty cold, but we can't imagine how bad it would have been w/o those heaters! Courtney really was so on top of every task for the evening.
So, if I could do it again, I'd get married here in the Spring or Fall...but oh well! It was wonderful, beautiful, and very memorable.

I got married here in May and have no doubts AT ALL about my venue choice. Danny and the rest of the team were amazing. I was so worried by the day before my wedding there was a Huge storm that came through and I didn't knows what to expect when I got to the venue. The team at hummingbird house had gotten there early to pick up all of the downed branches and cleaned up the place very nicely. It was beautiful.

Throughout the process they were organized (more so than I was) and helped coordinate all of our vendors on the day of.

The price was very reasonable compared to some of the other venues We had gone to look at.

I could go on and on about how amazing this place is but at the end of the day, you won't know for yourself unless you go take a tour of the property. Most of the venues that we visited were underwhelming. The pictures on their website would be beautiful and then I would show up and feel a little bit disappointed. The opposite occurred when I visited hummingbird house. I wasn't that excited about going to visit but once I got there was surprised by how beautiful the grounds looked.

I cannot recommend Hummingbird House and Courtney enough. My husband and I both lived in Houston during our wedding planning process, and not once have we regretted booking Hummingbird House. Courtney has been a great help throughout the wedding planning process! She acted as my day of coordinator and definitely made me feel completely calm and stress free. Our wedding was at the Hummingbird House in November, shortly after the flooding in Onion Creek. Courtney and Danny are amazing...they worked around the clock to repair the venue in time for our wedding day. We could not have asked for anything more.

If we could give Courtney at Hummingbird House a 10-star review, we would! We LOVE her. We would adopt her but she's too close to our age and we would have to fight both sets of our parents to get her. Here's why: My husband and I got married on Nov 1 2013, two days after the torrential floods that damaged many south Austin homes and businesses. When Courtney, who was serving as our day-of coordinator, called me the morning before the wedding to let me know the roads to Hummingbird House were impassable, she already had another venue lined up and a plan to notify all vendors and simply change the venue - cool as a cucumber! Once I got over the shock, we worked together to pull off an absolutely PERFECT wedding! Our guests couldn't believe that this was plan 'B' and that she and the new venue staff had moved everything to a new location in 24 hours. To top it off, Hummingbird House covered all costs related to the last-minute change and offered to host a pool party next summer to make it up to us - even though they can't control the weather! Courtney made our wedding amazing and we look forward to celebrating with her again next summer! - Mr. and Mrs. Clayton

There is no better place to get married in Austin, Texas than the Hummingbird House. My husband and I personally looked at close to 10 venues, but researched dozens. Not only are the grounds of the venue beautiful and the bride and groom suites recently updated and gorgeous, but the care with which Courtney and Danny treat each couple is heartfelt. My husband and I are event planners by trade, and we know we couldn’t have been in better hands. Courtney tends to every detail, and we were confident in the fact that once the day arrived we’d be completely taken care of. We had the typical snafus of rain and shuttle delays and Courtney handled everything with grace and poise. We are so grateful to have found them and to have started our life together at Hummingbird House!

Our wedding was at the Hummingbird House on September 14th. I CANNOT say enough good things about the venue and Danny and Courtney. Throughout the ENTIRE process, they were bot extremely responsive and helpful which was very important to me as I was planning the wedding from New York and could only be in Austin a handful of times. They had wonderful recommendations, from the florist recommendation (the Gala Gal), to detailed recommendations for the day of, such as the chair ties and napkin placement. They were both there the day of my wedding and made me feel completely calm and stress-free. They were incredibly organized and took care of everything from setting up to coordinating with the band on the timeline and announcements, to the sparkler exit. We couldn't have asked for better service than we received from both Danny and Courtney. Everything was beautiful!

We celebrated our wedding here taken along the path by Courtney. Since we booked the place late last year we were treated always with a positive and can do attitude to all the stupid questions we had to ask. We received prompt responses to our multiple calls and emails. A run through all the preparation details showed that they really know how to throw a party.
We provided our decoration (homemade) and shared out vision. We were amazed as how they carried out and how it surpassed our expectations. The place looked beautiful.
Courtney was around and on top of things during the rehearsal, ceremony and reception. We just had to be there and enjoy.
We were also surprised with our getaway car loaded with our change of clothes, wallets, cell phones, camera and everything we needed for our wedding night.
We are extremely happy with the Hummingbird House and their staff.

We celebrated my daughters wedding last night! The Hummingbird House was beautiful! All of our guest said it was one of the prettiest venues ever. Danny and Courtney were tremendous. Our decorations were a lot of work! They were there to help with what ever we needed. Never seen two people work harder. And such a joy. They are there to make your day what you want it to be. If you are looking for a garden venue, this is the place for you. The flowers just blew the guest away! Once the sun sets it becomes a beautiful romantic place. Can't wait to see our pictures. We are so incredibly happy that we chose The Hummingbird House for our wedding venue, the location is great and the venue is beautiful. The very best thing about The Hummingbird House is the help that comes with it, Courtney, AKA the most helpful person who was ever born. I exchanged emails with Courtney and Danny for almost a year up until our wedding, and they were such a huge help! The morning of our wedding I showed up to the venue expecting to have to decorate and help set up. To my surprise, when I got there everything was already in the works and under control, which made me have a very relaxing and fun day! Perfect Perfect Perfect! Danny and Courtney are an amazing team and do a great job at making you feel like a princess and giving you everything you could imagine for your special day. I don't know what we would have done without these two, Thank You again for all you hard work.
This venue is absolutely gorgeous with all the greenery and the large tents, open and spacious. With the amazing chandeliers and tent lighting you can customize to fit your color schemes it was perfect.
All I can say is that they did an absolutely AMAZING job, I couldn't have asked for anything better!

What can I say about the Hummingbird House other than FABULOUS!!!! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, then you add in Courtney and Danny, and a fairy-tale inspiration comes alive! The whole experience with Hummingbird House was wonderful. As the MOB (mother of the bride), I highly recommend Hummingbird House for your venue...you will not have to stress over the wedding day because Courtney and Danny are there to make it memorable for the bride and you.

Hummingbird House definitely does deserve more than 5 stars.

Courtney and Danny, thank you for everything you did for us in planning and executing this wedding. I didn't realize that the day could be so wonderful and beautiful!

This is the place to have your wedding! The flowers, to the archway, to the tent, to the lights on the trees! It was ALL so amazing! Loved our wedding at Hummingbird House. Danny and Courtney did such a great job from the day we visited. All throughout the they were very responsive and helpful. Danny and Courtney also acted as our day of wedding coordinator and they did a fantastic job.

As you can see the venue is absolutely amazing. The work that Hummingbird house puts into their venue to make sure it is beautiful year round really shows.

I can't say enough about how happy we are that we picked Hummingbird House as the venue for our wedding.

It was the first venue I checked out and the only one I looked at! I had seven others on my list that I didn't bother with looking at. I believe they have room for 200 guests. Which was perfect for us. They were affordable and provided everything that would have added to my budget. We got the tables, white table linens, and chairs for both the ceremony and reception. The grounds were immaculately landscaped and manicured throughout and Danny was flawless with assisting us the day of the big event. Danny was a dream to work with and accommodated us in just about everything. I did ask him if I could get a horse drawn carriage on the grounds and he said that it was not possible. It is by far the best deal in town! Danny and Tom have thought of everything at the Hummingbird House! Thank you guys!!!

What can I say, the staff at Hummingbird House was FABULOUS! I saw the images online but they do not do HH justice, it is so much more beautiful in person! As soon as we walked into the garden I knew this was exactly where I wanted our wedding to be... The day of the wedding was flawless and I know that it was because of the staff at HH... We used The Hummingbird House as our reception venue only, and it was truly wonderful! Courtney was such a dream to work with - she was incredibly helpful, informative, accessible, fun, flexible...I can't say enough great things about her! From the very beginning, everyone at The Hummingbird House was so eager to answer our questions and help make our wedding day perfect.

We got married on probably one of the coldest days of the year (naturally) and Courtney and Danny did everything they could to keep our guests warm and comfortable. It was obvious they truly cared about making our day perfect and special. All of our guests commented on how beautiful and wonderful the venue was!

The folks at The Hummingbird House work to take care of every little detail and let you just relax and enjoy your wedding day. We HIGHLY recommend them to any- and everyone!

I got married this past weekend, Dec. 8th, 2012 at Hummingbird House and I have to say that the venue far exceeded my expectations. Courtney was with me the day before at our rehearsal and the day of and I couldn't have done it without her help those two days. She went above and beyond to make sure I stayed stress-free and she managed it. Everything the day of flowed smoothly and without any problems. Courtney and Danny both were amazing. Family and friends are still raving about how beautiful the venue was! Thanks again for making my day feel truly magical!

If I could rate higher I would. My husband & I got married at the Hummingbird House on Nov. 2, 2012 and truly could not have asked for a better venue. The beautiful garden setting was even more amazing than I ever expected. Obviously the venue's beauty speaks for itself...

We got an opportunity to work with all of the staff during our 10 month planning & special day. They were the nicest people & made sure everything went according to plans. Not only did they take care of all the set up & break down, they made the night flow perfectly and popped up at all the right times to bring us a bite or a drink (which was above and beyond in my opinion).

They also made accommodations for a very ill relative/ minister so he could be a part of our special day & have a place to rest (and put my mind at ease).

We had the most romantic & beautiful night & so happy we picked Hummingbird House. Our guest reviews were stellar as well & just confirmed our thoughts. Thank you guys for the best night of our lives! It was PERFECT. :)

Danny, Lauren, and Courtney are amazing. Throughout the entire planning and the event itself, there was nothing they couldn't do! Setting up meetings with vendors (we're and out of town couple), supplying the most amazing vendor recommendations, and making sure we were taken care of.. they went above and beyond anything we could have expected.

The venue is absolutely amazing and beautiful, and needed little decoration.. but the team was so helpful in organizing ideas with our florist, and helping set everything up, and keeping the night moving along seamlessly.

They are so accommodating, so welcoming, and just so nice, that we can't imagine having gone anywhere else. It's almost laughable if anybody chooses another venue for their wedding. The Hummingbird is absolutely perfect in every way!

The wedding for my daughter last Friday was nothing short of fabulous. Over 100 guests, and every one of them thought the HH was simply gorgeous. That goes without saying as soon as you see the place. But it is the Planners at HH, Lauren, Courtney, and Danny, that really help make it so special, make it look so fabulous, and ensure everything goes flawlessly, which our wedding certainly did. Their help, ideas, coordination, and even getting directly involved with me setting up the sound equipment I brought in to sing during the ceremony makes this place a dream venue for any parent about to marry one of their children. The Planners helped us find special caterers that did an entire vegan meal, and recommended the best photographers, DJ, florists, etc that you would ever need. I am actually going to miss going out there because it is so beautiful, tranquil, and serene. In the days immediately after the ceremony, I felt like I had lost a friend. I would recommend HH to anyone about to plan a wedding without any hesitation.

I could not have asked for an easier place to get married. Danny and the team make the wedding planning much less stressful and are very easy to work with. The day of the wedding was amazing and ran so smoothly thanks to them! They take care of every little detail you could think of and will answer as many questions as needed. They help you feel relaxed, comfortable and at ease in the craziness of planning a wedding.

I got married at Hummingbird House last Saturday. I have been planning my wedding for a year and a half. All of the staff of HH have been there every step of the way. Keeping me calm and helping coordinate all my vendors.

My wedding day was full of rain, but cleared just in time for the ceremony. They kept everything on track and on schedule without it ever feeling pushy or rushed. My day was perfect from start to finish. I can not thank them all or recommend them highly enough to any bride that wants an amazing and beautiful wedding day. I should also add my photographer is now in love with the site.

As the mother-of-the-groom this past weekend, I was not directly involved with all of the venue details as were my lovely daughter-in-law and her family. I didn't know what to expect!! When we showed up for the rehearsal, HH literally had everything under control. The coordinators working with the wedding party were professional and personal exuding a warmth that went beyond their job. Then, the next day, as the rain stopped and the sun broke through the clouds HH again made the day easy, stress-less, and fun. The decor was just as we had all dreamed it would be -- from my vantage point, there was nothing left undone. From ensuring that our bride was out of sight from most early arriving guests and the groom, to gently making sure we were all where we were supposed be when we were supposed to be there, HH was there for us. Each one of the coordinators was discreetly present each step of the way gently moving us and reminding us of our time line while at the same time allowing the spirit to move us all toward an amazing celebration of marriage to be remembered. I highly recommend HH to all prospective brides and grooms!!

Danny and his team could not have made my wedding day more perfect! I hired both the venue and day of coordination for my June 2 wedding. My fiancé and I had done quite a bit of DIY for our decorating, and they were happy to have us drop everything off on Friday and set it up for us. Danny, Lauren and Courtney all did a great job coordinating with vendors and made everything go smoothly. They even walked our dogs for us during our reception! I am so, so happy that we chose them as a venue.

I honestly cannot imagine a more perfect day than the one the Hummingbird House gave us for our wedding in May.

My husband and I had two distinct Austin "visions" and experiences for our wedding - he the hill country and I the outdoor/garden setting - but when we visited the Hummingbird House back in October, we were immediately struck by the natural beauty of the site and friendliness of the team. The decision was clear from the start.

Even though we were originally working through a coordinator who left HH, we weren't worried; Danny and his co-coordinators Courtney and Lauren made the arrangements absolutely seamless. I think our laid-back approach matched each other's pretty well, but I'm convinced that even the highest maintenance bride would feel at ease in their hands. They know all the answers to all the questions, will take care of all the questions you never knew to ask, and know how to make a party last all night long.

You will not be disappointed. Getting a chance to work with this team is an experience in itself. They really made everything very intentional, special and unique, and work their tails off to make it so. Too many details to count. We love Hummingbird House!

The team at the Hummingbird House is fantastic! They were incredibly accommodating leading up to our wedding and were very quick to respond to any questions. While we came armed with our own ideas, they also made wonderful suggestions. On the wedding day, we didn't need to worry about a single detail - they were well ahead of the ball. The venue itself is gorgeous. Using the preferred vendors list (which range in price for every budget) makes it a turn-key venue, making for a perfect wedding day.

I couldn't have picked a perfect place for my wedding. Listed are the top 5 reasons why Hummingbird is awesome! I had an amazing wedding and it was all that I dreamt and more...

1) Gorgeous place, perfect outside venue with great weather back up place. The beauty of this place speaks for itself especially if you are a bride that loves the outdoors and nature. I had tons of compliments during and after my wedding how beautiful the venue was.
2) AMAZING staff! What's great about this place is the staff that comes with it. Danny and his team rock and have everything under control. I was able to enjoy my wedding and was so zen and carefree the day of because I knew I was in good hands and the day went perfectly! All the pieces fit together seamlessly.
3) Price - for what you get you get the bang for your buck. Having a staff that helps execute for you makes all the difference to enjoying your wedding day.
4) Location - south Austin but not too secluded and close enough downtown for people who wanted to keep the party going.
5) Communication - Hummingbird House kept in touch with me even after my wedding. They are very responsive and knew who I was. Made it very personable for me. I felt like a special bride the whole time.

In a word, Amazing. I looked at 30+ venues in Austin and I was so glad that I stumbled upon this place. it is just beautiful. The grounds are amazing and kept perfect even through the summer heat, thanks to the fact that the venue is owned by the folks over at The Great Outdoors nursery. The ceremony site is already decorated with flowers and wrought iron pieces and the reception tent is draped in a beautiful fabric. When I booked my wedding day here, I also paid extra to have Lauren as my day of coordinator, and she was worth every penny! She is so amazing and really truly cares that your day goes as perfect as can be. She cares about all the little details and goes well above and beyond what I'm sure most day of planners do. I also recommend taking advantage of their lighting package for the tent after the sun goes down. I would recommend this venue and Lauren as your DOC to any bride in a heartbeat.

Lauren and Danny are absolutely AMAZING to work with. Any and all questions I had, they had lots of suggestions (thank goodness) and were very responsive! I met with one or both of them at least 5+ times to look at the venue to get an idea of how to decorate or to get their help and input on things I had no clue about. And the day of the wedding was no exception, they were there every step of the way and just made the whole day stress-free for me. Everytime I turned around at the wedding, Lauren was there to hand me another drink, or pin my dress back up, or get me ready for the next thing on the agenda (first dance, cake cutting, etc). I mean all I did was have a BLAST. The venue itself is gorgeous and pretty much speaks for itself. Even without decoration, it's a beautiful place, but it was so special to see it with my little flair and it was absolutely PERFECT. It was exactly what I imagined and more. It really was everything that I wanted out of a wedding: fun, casual but glamorous and romantic. Danny and Lauren helped make my vision into reality, and with ease. I can't thank them enough for the perfect wedding. I loved every second of it!!

The Hummingbird House was the first big decision we made in regards to our wedding. At the time they were relatively new when we booked so we got the benefit of booking them at a lower rate. In the 11 months that we booked them and waited for our wedding the place went from amazing to AHHMAZZING. Many of our guests were in complete awe of all the flowers in full bloom. It rained the morning of our ceremony causing us to get married under the tent and though I was upset about it at first after walking down the aisle I could not have been happier. If you are looking to get married outdoors with a romantic feel the Hummingbird House is the place to do it.

Father of the bride here. I'm not going to comment on the looks, that will be something you need to see for yourselves, but if you like the outdoors you will not be disappointed. What I can assure you is a very high level of customer service. They may have equals but couldn't be better. Danny and his team were outstanding. If we were like most people, stress level builds as you come up on the date, and all we ever heard is "What can we do for you". Wedding was beautiful and even Mother Nature smiled on us. Thanks for a great effort. Special event made better and great memories for my daughter and new son-in-law.

I was married at the Hummingbird House earlier this year, and everything about the venue was AMAZING.

My now-husband and I set out one day to look at several venues....and never made it past the Hummingbird House! We knew right away this was the place we wanted to get married. From the instant we got there, we were warmly welcomed by Danny, who followed us all the way to the wedding day (and after!). He made sure all of my questions were answered, all of my ideas were welcomed, and that no detail was left behind. He was quick to respond to every email, which was so very appreciated. As we got closer to the wedding day, Lauren joined the Hummingbird House, and she was just as amazing as he. Just a couple days before the wedding, she helped us secure an awesome classic getaway car! She kept everyone in order, and took so much stress off my back. She and Danny kept things running so smoothly on the big day, and if something went wrong... I never knew about it.

And the beauty of the venue?! Incredible. It is a hidden tropical oasis in Austin...with so many beautiful flowers, lush grass, a beautiful pool, and romantic sparkling lights. I can't say enough good things about this place, and Danny and Lauren!!

I honestly can not say enough good things about the Hummingbird House. I feel so fortunate that we were able to have our wedding there. People are still telling us, six weeks later, that the venue was absolutely gorgeous and we even had people at our wedding tell us that they want to have their wedding there. The place is gorgeous and perfectly landscaped, and the behind the scenes is what absolutely makes this place stand out from the rest. Danny is one of the most easy going, hardworking person you would want to deal during the wedding planning process. He was always available when I had questions, concerns, anything at all. He listened to what type of personality you wanted your wedding to have and made genuine suggestions, offered advice and made it happen. My dad made a special order THE DAY BEFORE the wedding to have about 300 white roses hanging from the trees around the venue to surprise my husband and I and Danny did not hesitate once or say it couldn't be done. He went out that day, bought the roses and was having them hung on Saturday morning.
We also had the amazing opportunity to work with the go-to, get it done girl, Lauren. She was a new addition to the team after I had already booked the place, so it was an extra bonus. She is priceless. ANYTHING at all that I needed, had a question about, even had a brief thought about, she was there to get it done or make it happen all the way up to the wedding day. She has tons of contacts throughout the city so if you are stuck on something or need help with a vendor, she is on it. She saved me a lot of money on other vendors offering her advice from previous weddings. I was about to feed the whole city of Austin with my cake if she had not suggested that I cut back a bit because due to her past experiences, it was not necessary. And she was right. I cut way back and still had some left over. I needed two hair appointments SUPER last minute and she took care of it all. I was just mentioning it to her 3 days before because we were discussing the day of on the phone, not even thinking it was something she could take care of, and she immediately got on the phone with a couple girls at a salon she knew and booked me some appointments. I can't even explain how clutch she was the day of the wedding. Her and Danny were right there the whole time making sure everything was on time, getting done, and most of all that everyone was enjoying themselves. Multiple times, she came up and asked us if we needed anything and was all smiles. If something was wrong, we would have had no idea. They would have had it handled before we could even hear about it. Her and Danny both made our day incredibly stress free and special.
One of the most important things I liked best about the Hummingbird House is that they made you feel special and unique and not just another wedding on a weekend. I visited the site multiple times before the actual wedding and Danny or Lauren were there every time talking things through with me and remembered things we had talked about previously. It's like getting married at one of your friends houses is how comfortable I felt working with them. I could not have asked for a better wedding day.

This was the most wonderful place to have a wedding! We did not want to leave it's so beautiful and peaceful. Loved that we got to stay overnight, we stayed up late with a few of our guest and enjoyed the night. Danny was so helpful with everything. The venue is gorgeous and spans roughly 6 acres with incredible landscaping. The manager of the Hummingbird House was incredibly warm and helpful. Their rates are pretty low considering that the prices include chair and tent rentals.

Man, how many ways do I love this venue?

It's just beautiful. Many of our guests marveled at the beautiful Texas spring wildflowers, the landscaping, the lit tents and trees at night, the fountains with petals floating on them. It was just gorgeous. This place was just wonderful for our Texas spring wedding.

We also had the rehearsal dinner at the same place, and it was just a lovely night.

The coordinator Danny was so chill and flexible. He was just great to work with, very responsive and helpful. Flexible to a fault. I loved Danny, I want to put him in a pocket and have him coordinate all my future parties :)

Danny at the Hummingbird House went above and beyond to ensure my wedding day turned out perfectly. He made himself available for any questions that came up while I was planning (and there were a lot!) and really made me comfortable and stress-free about how the day would turn out. It was never awkward or intimidating to work with Danny (unlike some of the bigger venues), and in the end I truly feel like I can consider him a friend.

In terms of the venue, it's absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. I envisioned an elegant "backyard barbeque" and I got more than I could ever dream of. It was, in fact, a backyard barbeque but more gorgeous and romantic than anything I could have imagined. Between the white lights dancing on the trees, to the romantically draped tents, to the beautiful landscaping and natural creek running through the property, it was just stunning. The most common thing that my guests commented on after the wedding was how lovely the venue was.

If you're looking for a sweet, attentive, and helpful person to work with, I highly recommend calling Danny at the Hummingbird House. And if you're looking for a natural, outdoor setting with the capacity to also hold a large crowd for dinner and dancing, the Hummingbird House more than fits the bill. I could not have been more pleased with the venue or its owners.

I have always dreamt of my wedding day.
I?d have it in Austin, outside with the sun shining down, flowers everywhere in all colors, I could hear water nearby but never too loud, the ceremony short and the attendance private, and music softly playing in the background almost as if it was coming from the trees themselves.
I have always been a romantic, but as I went around Austin trying to find my dream I could never have it all in one place. My friend Danny invited me over to see the new house he was opening up as a new venue just to see if it could work. And there it was. The moment I stepped in the door music was playing and I felt at home. Danny showed me around and everything fell into place.
The Hummingbird House was my dream, and when the day came everything went beautifully. Everyone says that something will go wrong on your big day, but nothing happened. Everything went according to plan; I awoke in the morning after staying in one of their spectacular rooms to breakfast being served. I spent the day getting ready using one of their gorgeous bathrooms as my styling rooms. Then the time came, I walked out of the house and into my new life. The ceremony was short and sweet, perfect for me, and the reception was right there with the tent dressed in white and lit up with touches of my colors, and the music began as soon as the ceremony was over. It was the perfect day and it ended even better. Danny ushered everyone home once I said it was time for them to go and the house was all ours for the rest of the weekend.
This was the day I had always dreamed of, the moments I will always remember, and I owe it all to the Hummingbird House, and they truly made my dream come true.

We knew the Hummingbird House was "the one" when venue searching and our April wedding day was even more perfect than we could be imagined. First, Courtney (the onsite coordinator) was extremely helpful and made it possible for us to enjoy the day without interruption. If there was a problem - we didn't know about it! All of our guests were impressed with the beautiful gardens, and I am still blown away by the amazing spacious bridal and grooms suites. Second, this is the type of venue that provides everything you need (including optional decorations you can purchase, chairs, tables, lighting etc.) which makes the entire process so much easier. They don't provide onsite catering but they have a list of awesome preferred vendors who really do a great job. We chose Maudies and they provided exceptional food and service! The venue also provides really helpful planning sheets to help the bride and groom figure out what they need to coordinate ahead of the event which was a lifesaver for us when it all seemed very overwhelming. These guys really know their stuff when it comes to weddings and they are kind and helpful to everyone who visits. I'm so grateful we shared our wedding day with the Hummingbird House and I can't wait to hopefully go back someday for another visit!

I had our December 3, 2011 wedding at the Hummingbird House in Austin Texas. And I could not imagine it any other way!
Quality of Service = the venue is SPECTACULAR. It is a private home and garden. The grounds are gorgeous, lush (even in december!!), colorful, manicured but also natural. I can't say enough about it's beauty. The reception is in the white tent that's included in the venue. It's a billowy, romantic, with crystal chandeliers. Breath-taking! It's just a few yards away from the ceremony site. The ceremony was under the gazebo, we added flowers to the gazebo. It's still so fresh, it's hard to find words to say how perfect this place is! The bride and bridesmaids get ready in their own room (several rooms if needed), that are lovely and look so pretty in pictures. The grooms have a detatched trailor that is decorated in hunting themes, away from the bride so no chance of a run-in.

Responsiveness - Lauren is A+ in wedding planning. She gave me her personal cell and I could text at any hour of the day! She also was a friend. She'd find ideas or colors and ask me about them, without pushing them on me. We invited her to come to our rehearsal dinner! She responded usually on the same day unless she had a wedding that weekend. She knows EVERYTHING there is to know about vendors in Austin. I ended up using most of her recommendations, and I'm glad I did.

Professionalism - even though Lauren became a friend, she was 100% professional. Especially when it matters most, the day of the wedding. She was all business then, definitely strict, but I wouldn't want it any other way either. She conducted a 30 minute rehearsal the day before much to everyone's joy. She knows the ins and outs of wedding schedules and planning and I can't imagine anyone else planning the wedding with us. She is just spectacular.

Value - For the ceremony and reception to be in the same place, with Lauren as the planner, it was worth every single penny. And I didn't officially hire Lauren as the planner, she just came with the venue. It is not the least expensive venue by any means, and the vendors do range in price, but again, the pictures of Hummingbird house do not do justice on how amazing this place is.

Flexibility - I gave this 4.5 stars ONLY because Lauren has a template of how she is used to running wedding items and timelines, which I didn't mind, but my mother and mother-in-law wanted a few things done differently (which I ended up agreeing with). So even though it wasn't shown as an option, Lauren changed EVERYTHING that we asked and said "no problem at all". So she is 100% flexible, but you have to speak up if you don't want the timeline to go as she originally suggests. Lauren is 100% flexible, just the template they use doesn't show every option you have for ceremony timelines, where everything goes at the reception etc.

Overall I would never ever ever dream of my wedding being somewhere else. I didn't worry about a thing the day of as Lauren put out all of the decorations, she had the sparkler send off go flawlessly, it was too good to be true!!!!!!!!!!! BOOK HERE!

Beauty venue

We could have not been happier with the venue! So beautiful. We had so many compliments. The grounds are stunning. The bridal suite and grooms suite were perfect.

It was love at first sight when we first visited the Hummingbird House as we were looking for an cute outdoor venue for an intimate wedding. I loved all the greenery and florals all over the venue as it makes for great pictures and also minimal decorations. One of the other good things about the venue is that we were not obligated to use any particular vendors, but were given a less of their preferred vendors which allowed us the freedom to pick and choose the quality and pricing based on our needs. We essentially used their preferred list and ALL of them were great! It is especially nice to have vendors that have a good relationship with the venue coordinator, Courtney. We had Courtney as our day-of coordinator which was definitely worth it. Her excited and positive attitude during our planning meeting, email correspondence, dress rehearsal and wedding day was exceptional. If you are looking for a laid-back venue with lots of natural decorations, the Hummingbird House is the place for your wedding! Thanks for the memories!

I've always wanted to get married in a garden with a gazebo, so naturally Hummingbird House was the perfect choice. From our first meeting to the wedding day, I never felt like my wedding wasn't valued. Courtney, the site manager and day-of coordinator, works solely for Hummingbird House and has lots of experience there. Anytime we needed help or came by for different reasons, she always had an answer! The venue itself was beautiful. I wanted everything to look natural and pristine and this venue needs little to no help to get that way. My guests raved about the venue and how perfect it was for what we envisioned. If you want a beautiful, timeless place for your wedding, Hummingbird House is your place!

I've seen tons of venues in Austin but the Hummingbird House is by far the most amazing. Its beauty comes full circle during the spring/summer months because of greenery and flowers. At night, the venue completely changes and is even more gorg if thats possible. Not to mention Courtney is the best day of coordinator ever. Throughout the entire process she was very responsive and offered suggestions and new ideas i had not thought of. I just felt very comfortable with her and over the months of planning I go to a point where i just completely trust her ability. She's great. The venue is great. The bridal suite is huge and glamorous. The groomsmen is equally nice. This place makes for stunning photos from beginning to end.

Danny was great! Jamie and I were both extremely pleased at both the venue and the service we received from Danny. The venue was beautiful, both during the day and at night. Several guests have told us how beautiful the Hummingbird House was for the wedding and reception. We wouldn't have changed a thing!

If you are having a hard time deciding on a venue, ponder no more. The Hummingbird House is a beautiful little oasis tucked away in a corner of Austin, Texas. Lauren & Danny are awsome people to work with from every sense of the word. They bend over-backward to please you and on the day of the event, they are there making sure everything goes as planned.
Now let me share with all readers why The Hummingbird House, Danny & Lauren are awsome. Our ceremony started at 3:00p.m. and the caterer was suppose to be there chilling the wine, placing the beer on ice and getting everything set-up for the cocktail hour. 4:00p.m. rolled-around, and no caterer. by 5:00p.m. something really bad was about to happen. Reception was to start at 6:00p.m. At this point, Danny & Lauren stepped up to the plate and went beyond the call of duty. They started calling caterers until they finally found one. They also found a bartender. Even though the reception started late, at the end all 160 guests understood and we all had a great time afterwards. By the way, the bride never found out that the caterer was a no-show, until she was served BBQ. A hugh THANK YOU to Danny & Lauren for a job well done.

Danny and his helpers made our wedding flow easily and amazingly. The venue is beautiful and they were very flexible with our customization's. I could not have been happier with the way my wedding turned out.
