Where do I start in describing the incredible memories we had at Hudson Bend and the privilege it was to have Steven as our venue owner?

We live in the northeast and planned our wedding largely from afar. After seeing photographs of Hudson Bend online, we fell in love and knew it was the right setting for the destination wedding we were envisioning.

Our celebration took place in June 2022. It was a truly magical experience. It's hard to describe in words how serene Hudson Bend is. There is something so intimate, beautiful, sublime, and unassumingly dignified about the gardens and grounds of this sanctuary. One of our guests literally commented: "It's ethereal here." The gardens are so lovingly curated and well-taken care of yet maintain an authentic, natural essence that allows it to serve as a sanctuary for songbirds and hummingbirds. On the morning of my wedding, I sipped coffee while watching the hummingbirds feed! What a gift.

Steven, the owner, is the hardest working venue owner I could imagine. He is incredibly patient, helpful, a problem solver, and clearly had our best interests in mind every step of the way in planning. We had to reschedule our wedding multiple times due to the pandemic and travel-related constraints. Steven was extremely patient and accommodating to our multiple delays and rescheduling requests, never making us feel rushed while we tried to find a date that would work for our busy schedules as the bride and groom and that of our loved ones who were traveling from across the country and internationally. He was extremely responsive--always answering our spontaneous calls and texts. More than that, he went above and beyond in helping us set up for our event. He literally broke a sweat for us, helping move items that we needed set up in different places around the grounds. On a few occasions, he communicated with our vendors on our behalf and helped them with their set up (averting a vendor cancellation). We are so grateful to him for being such a calming presence, so patient and understanding, and for being someone we could trust. He truly was like a friend rather than just a vendor.

Hudson Bench Ranch was everything we could have ever hoped for in a wedding venue. We had to postpone our main wedding this year due to COVID so we were looking for a venue to host a micro-wedding with our close family and friends. We wanted a location where we could do everything on site and HBR delivered on every front. Steven, the property manager, was the perfect host and was in constant contact with us before we arrived and made sure that we had everything we needed when we arrived. There are so many beautiful locations on the property to do the ceremony and we held the small reception outdoors after the ceremony was over. We cannot say enough good things about HBR and would strongly recommend anyone looking for a very high quality venue to give it a shot.

After looking at numerous wedding venues around Austin, Texas, my fiance and I came across Hudson Bend Ranch and immediately fell in love. From the beautiful, lush gardens surrounding the property, the location of being close to Lake Travis and Oasis Brewery, and the peaceful surroundings, it was an instant favorite! Steven, the property owner, was very helpful, friendly, professional, and caring from the start in helping my fiance and I plan our dream wedding.
Unfortunately, due to COVID, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel our wedding plans and Steven was understanding of our situation and timely in processing our full refund.
Hudson Bend Ranch is one of, if not, the most beautiful venues in Austin, Texas. My fiance and I consider Hudson Bend Ranch to be one of our favorite places in all of Austin.

You couldn't make a better decision. Hudson Bend is beautiful and comfortable, and Steven is an absolute pleasure. It is so unfortunate that we had to cancel our wedding here because of the current Covid-19 climate. Having said that, I still needed to leave a review because of how great Steven was. My fiancee and I booked the place for three nights of lodging for our families, with our wedding reception and ceremony to take place on one of those days. Steven truly cares about your special day and is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. We went to the venue a couple of times to plan and coordinate, and everything about this place and Steven just was a great fit. There was nothing to stress about here. I hope to one day book this place again and have a nice relaxing weekend with family on the property. This is a first class venue for your wedding, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Hudson Bend was our first pick for our wedding, we absolutely loved the property and were set to lodge our friends and families for 3 nights during our wedding weekend. It felt like a retreat! We have since changed our plans due to Covid and Steven continues to amaze us with how great of a host he is, even after we had to cancel. He is flexible, patient, and understanding throughout the whole process. This place is a definite gem!
