The moment my fiancé (now husband) walked into Alden Castle we fell in love. We were greeted by the bubbly Michelle Sagi (in her rockin' heels) and given a thorough tour of the venue. Michelle's passion for Alden was evident throughout our meeting; she was so thorough and knowledgeable but most importantly, genuine.Sent on 09/10/2016
Amanda, our planner was equally fantastic. She made every dream of ours come true. She was able to special order ingredients for our specialty cocktails; I had a dream of having my cocktail garnished with edible flowers and they got them!! My husbands favorite craft Gin, Barr Hill, was also brought in for the wedding. He was thrilled, and trust me, there wasn't a lot about the wedding he was "excited" about ;) Amanda met with me several times to go over the floor plans and details of the day. She was prompt responding to all of emails, and was willing to stay late to meet with me and my maid of honor. I am a very visual, detail orientated person and Amanda was very respectful and patient of this. I never felt rushed or dismissed by her. I would have never known how busy her schedule was because she treated me with such attention.
Our wedding day was perfect, not a single thing went awry (!!) Everyone loved the passed apps; the Mac N Cheese Balls, Pork Lolipop and the BMT's were all raved over. People also spoke very highly of their dinners, we did the filet and short rib combo for our beef selection and it was heavenly. My husband and I sat together and ate our whole meal. We also received many compliments about the venue itself and how beautiful it was. Alden is unlike most other venues in the city; it doesn't need a lot of décor to be beautiful; the space speaks for itself. With our added décor, flowers and votive candles throughout, and the space was simply stunning. It felt romantic but on a very organic level. Thank you to whole Alden team for making our wedding a dream come true!

The Perfect Venue & Vendor!
Alden Castle is a beautiful and elegant venue. From the moment we stepped in to see the Vintage Ballroom we were in love. Amanda P. helped us envision our wedding and we knew then we were in great hands. She also gave is great recommendations on what we needed, vendors she recommended as well as ideas on what to think about as we planned the wedding.Sent on 04/08/2019
On our wedding day, the staff was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken cared of throughout the whole day. My husband and I were in awe to the attention to detail and service we received. We've received compliments all night about the food, service and overall flow of the wedding and it was all due to our amazing coordinator Candice K. She was great throughout the whole process and coordinated with our vendors. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with to make our day extra special.
A million thanks!

Stay away!! We had our wedding here at Alden Castle in the summer of 2017, for about 130 guests. Long story short the air conditioning broke the day of our wedding and the staff did not tell us, lied to our guests about it, and did nothing to make guests comfortable or fix the situation. Bartenders were rude to our guests (I don't blame them as they were hot as hell and shouldn't have had to work in those conditions). All of our guests were very uncomfortable and we had people leave early.Sent on 11/21/2017
I thought how dissapointed/mad/upset we were about the whole thing would fade with time, but it hasn't. Looking back at our wedding photos and seeing people clearly sweating makes us upset to this day and always will. Still feel embarrassed for all of our guests, almost all traveled very far to be there.
Would not recommend this venue or any other Longwood Venues location. Stay away unless you are going to spend $100,000 (then maybe they won't let something like that happen).
A real shame because the physical space is beautiful, and food was great as well. Head chef very friendly too.
