Susan, Tammy, Chris and Jean worked their magic to make our daughter's June 2024 wedding dream a reality. Our daughter and her BC alum groom had the best outdoor wedding weekend at the Connors Center. The comprehensive website is the second most valuable resource the Connors Center has - next to Jean Drum. Their online recommended vendor list made it possible line up a stellar team of talented professionals who are excellent communicators and knowledgeable of the ins and outs of the venue. Jean's attention to detail and professional/attentive manner allowed us to relax and enjoy the moments of the weekend on-site events - Welcome Party, Wedding Day Brunch Buffet and Wedding Ceremony and Reception. I will highly recommend this venue and team.

Our wedding at the Connors Center was the best day ever! From being married in the garden to cocktail hour on the terrace to the sailcloth tented reception everything went perfect! Jean’s team is the best and made everything so incredibly perfect! We could not have asked for a better venue to work with!

The best wedding decision I made (aside from marrying my husband!) was to get married at the Connors Center. My wedding was on June 10 and I HAD to write a review as soon as possible because I am still smiling ear to ear about how wonderful everything was. The venue is absolutely stunning and my guests were in awe - pictures just don't do it justice. You need to visit to get a sense of just how incredible it is! There are countless beautiful places to take photos and the stone, ivy, and numerous gardens makes the place look straight out of a fairy tale. One thing we loved about the venue was that we could completely customize everything about the wedding - from the caterer to the tent and everything in between. (Although if you're the type who prefers not to make those decisions, they can make that part easy. We just happen to be very type A!) We had a lobster bake rehearsal dinner in the pavilion- complete with lawn games- and loved that our guests could stay at the venue to participate in all the festivities, from the rehearsal to getting ready in the Sun Parlor (plenty of space for 12 of us to get hair/makeup done), to the actual wedding, after-party in the hospitality suite, and brunch in their dining room the next day. The ceremony took place in St. Cecilia's Garden, with cocktail hour indoor/outdoor, followed by a tented reception. The staff at the Connors Center were wonderfully attentive, patient, and tremendously helpful every step of the way with recommendations, planning, running the rehearsal, and ensuring everything went smoothly on the actual wedding day. We considered hiring a day-of coordinator but didn't end up needing to because Susan and Jean went above and beyond. They could not have been more wonderful to us, and we remain forever thankful in their help attaining our dream wedding!!! Lastly, as nostalgic BC alum, it was extra special knowing that our venue was part of our alma mater. You won't regret having your wedding at the Connors Center.

Classy. Elegant. Enchanting. Special. The Connors Center is more than even those words can adequately describe. We feel so happy and lucky to have been able to become husband and wife in this place. Jean Drum and her team made our vision for what we wanted for our wedding day come true. From our first meeting with Jean, we knew that we would be well taken care of because of her attention to detail, patience, calm demeanor, and supportive nature. She was always available to reassure us, offer excellent vendor suggestions, and answer our many questions. We are so grateful for her and our wedding would not have been possible in the manner we wanted it to be without her. We wed in St. Ignatius Chapel in the presence of our immediate families (15 people total). The space is so open, clean, and fresh that the only decoration needed was a tall floral piece to go in front of the altar. The floor to ceiling window behind the altar adds perfect light and natural beauty which flooded the space, even on a rainy day. The grounds offer so many places for amazing photos to be taken and we utilized all of them! We took "first look" photos at the Garden of St. Cecilia, family photos in the arches, and used the Main Parlor for dinner. The architecture and stonework offers the perfect backdrop for incredibly artistic and beautiful photos. It's a photographer's dream! The female members of the wedding got ready in the bridal suite, which was comfortable and spacious. The male members of the wedding used the game room and loved watching sports and playing with the games. The Main Parlor with the hidden book case, tall ceilings, wooden wainscoting was such an elegant place to have a formal meal. After the wedding guests departed, we sat as husband and wife by the fireplace to soak in the entire perfect day. The Connors Center took care of us and we feel so blessed to have started our new lives as Mr. and Mrs. there.

The Connors Center is clearly a magnificent venue, and a true hidden gem - But, the highlight of our experience has to be the people who work there/run the venue - especially Susan and Jean. We couldn't be happier with the incredible service we received right up to and through the actual wedding day - and even after the wedding. We were listened to, attended to, and cared for while at The Connors Center. What more could you ask for? I am a very happy bride - and I know my parents are so very pleased with everything about The Connors Center.

The Connors Center is an absolutely gorgeous venue if you like small gardens and big grassy yards. The rooms have a very classical feel like it is something from Dowtown Abbey. The staff are truly professionals and took care of many major and minor details that cropped up. The wedding ceremony and reception setup was impeccable and well done. They did a tremendous job walking my wife and I through the rehearsal and the schedule. It was truly a perfect wedding day. If you have a large wedding guest list, then doing it outside may better with a tent. If you have a smaller wedding guest list, the main room would suffice. Overall, Connors Center is a truly a hidden gem in terms of a beautiful wedding venue.

My husband and I got married at the Connors Center on June 9, 2018 and it was the best decision we could have made! From day one of meeting Jean, Susan, and the team we knew we wouldn’t have to worry about a thing. They helped us every step of the way and were in constant communication throughout the whole process. We ended up going with the weekend package so our friends and relatives from out of town could arrive on Friday and be able to just relax and enjoy the weekend away. The team was great in helping us get the décor and flowers set up in the parlors and outside Friday night and Saturday before the guests arrived. The venue is absolutely beautiful, so even though our ceremony was in the early evening, everyone said they enjoyed just walking around and taking in the beautiful grounds during the day. We had the rehearsal dinner on site Friday night with catered BBQ which was a lot of fun, and since everyone was staying there we felt great knowing they would be safe and could have a good time! The day of the wedding went off without a hitch, and a lot of that was due to the incredible staff at the Connors Center. We received an incredibly personal experience and would not change anything about our wedding weekend! We are so happy we decided on the Connors Center!

We were married at the beautiful Connors Center in May 2022 and enjoyed a memorable and special wedding weekend! The venue is stunning, both inside and out, with magical stone walls, arches and gardens. Like something out of a fairytale. We booked a wedding weekend which included use of the property from Friday evening through Sunday morning. We had many guests traveling from out of town, including internationally, so we were thrilled to find such a beautiful venue which enabled all of us to stay onsite together for the weekend. We hosted an onsite rehearsal dinner on Friday evening, breakfast on Saturday morning, our wedding on Saturday evening and a brunch on Sunday morning. An incredible amount of planning and details, but well worth it!
Both Jean and Susan were very helpful in our planning process, offering ideas on how to leverage the space for different aspects of our weekend and vendor referrals. Likewise, both Jean and Susan’s help throughout the wedding weekend was exceptional, largely acting as a day-of coordinator, so that we could enjoy everything. We have amazing memories and photographs and are very happy with having chosen the Connors Center for our special day.
Our only caveat to prospective couples is that while the ability to leverage the overnight accommodation is fantastic, there is a high likelihood of another wedding being set up before you have left the next day. While we had booked the weekend package through late Sunday morning, there were vendors and wedding party members for another wedding arriving by 8am on Sunday before our contracted time ended. While this generally all worked out okay, it made it feel a bit like a wedding factory and misaligned with our contract. In hindsight, had we known, we would have rented the property for Sunday as well allowing ourselves and our guests to fully enjoy the property the day after the wedding too.

We were so lucky to have found the Connors Center for our June, 2019 wedding! Jean, Susan, Kaitlyn, and Jess were absolutely amazing to work with. They were kind and caring, and clearly just wanted us to enjoy our special day. Jean wears many hats at the Connors Center; she was not always able to respond to emails ASAP, but I never worried that she would not respond. When she did, she was always calm, reassuring, and so informative, which was particularly helpful for a Type A bride who was perpetually running on far too little sleep. Every single person we interacted with at the Connors Center was friendly and made us feel like we were their number one priority, which was pretty impressive given that they have weddings there every weekend!

Getting married at the Connors Center enabled us to have our ideal wedding weekend - our last big "hurrah." Most of our friends who are scattered all over the country with little children, which makes traveling hard. We were able to hold our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and Sunday brunch on site, and there were enough rooms for all of our out-of-state guests to stay on site as well. This fostered an incredibly fun, festive, and home-y vibe. While I was getting ready the morning of the wedding, it was so fun to be able to peek out the window and see friends hanging out together while their kids all played together in the back yard.

Every single one of our guests commented on how gorgeous the Connors Center is. Through the course of 9 months of wedding planning, we were fortunate to see the center during all four seasons, and we honestly could not have gone wrong with a single one of them; the place is always beautiful and magical. From the beautiful stonework to the perfectly landscaped grounds to the rich mahogany wood-work inside, there is truly no part of the center that is not pretty. And when you drive up to the grounds, you get to drive through a tree-lined road that is surreal and promises beautiful things ahead. All of our pictures are gorgeous, and our memories are even better.
