We're so happy we hired Sal as our wedding DJ! Sal was very responsive throughout our entire planning process - addressing all of our questions, sharing advice and recommendations for things we hadn't even considered, and providing us with a level of comfort and confidence that he would have everything covered - which he did. On our wedding day, Sal and Marissa were phenomenal. They coordinated every moment seamlessly, worked closely with our other vendors, kept the schedule (and us!) on track, and did it all in a way that kept us, our wedding party/family and guests relaxed and having fun. On top of that, they kept the dance floor alive all night - incorporating all the songs we had requested plus so many others that fit our vibe. Every guest we spoke with raved about Sal's energy and professionalism. At the end of the night, Sal and Marissa shared a flashdrive with photos and videos from the day, which was such a sweet surprise and something we've already enjoyed looking back on. We highly recommend Sal, Marissa and the After Hours team to all couples getting married - we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

My husband and I got married at The Simsbury Inn on 11/7/25. We used After Hours Events of New England for our officiating, photo booth, and DJ services and we truly couldn’t be happier. Working with Sal, Vanessa, and the entire team was incredibly easy from start to finish. I’ll admit I was a little unsure at first about having the same person serve as both our officiant and DJ, but Sal absolutely knocked it out of the park. He delivered a beautiful ceremony and then kept the energy high all night long. Several guests even came up to me throughout the evening asking where we found him because they loved him so much! I had been nervous about the dance floor being empty, but thanks to Sal, it stayed full the entire night. It was also such a relief that Sal was already familiar with The Simsbury Inn and had worked with our photographer before It made everything run that much more smoothly! One of my absolute favorite parts of the night was the photo booth. It was so much fun taking pictures with everyone and using all the props. At the end of the night, Sal surprised us with a keepsake book filled with collages of all the photo booth pictures, along with little messages from our guests. He also included copies of the photo strips and a USB with all the images plus a recording of our ceremony. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gift! If anyone is planning a wedding, I highly recommend getting a photo booth because the memories are priceless. I would also 100% recommend After Hours Events of New England to anyone. They offer so many services, are incredibly easy to work with, and truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable.

Sal from After Hours Events of New England was beyond amazing ! He made planning our special day very easy, he helped us get everything organized and stay stress free the entire time. Even the Day of the wedding, he was coordinating speeches and timing perfectly. He gave great recommendations on music and song choices and we danced for way longer than expected, it was a blast. He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night and we never slowed down once ! After the wedding everyone was saying how great the dancing was, Thank you Sal and Team, 10/10 !!

We honestly can’t say enough amazing things about DJ Sal and his wife Vanessa! From the very beginning, Sal was there to help us plan out the timeline and make sure everything went smoothly. He was so easy to talk to, super organized, and made us feel completely at ease leading up to the big day.
On the day of the wedding, Sal and Vanessa were absolutely incredible! Sal brought so much energy and excitement, from hyping up the crowd before the ceremony to keeping the dance floor packed all night long. Sal really knew how to read the room and play the perfect songs to keep everyone dancing all night long and having the best time. Vanessa was such a huge help throughout the day too, making sure everything ran perfectly and that we were enjoying every moment.

We used DJ Mike Moscato through after hour events, and the night could not have been more perfect! Mike was very communicative throughout the entire process and listened to all of our requests! We asked for a mix of multiple genres of music and he created the perfect playlist for us. All of the ceremony and processional / recessional music was perfect and played at the right time. We had the best night ever thanks to Mike!

We cannot recommend After Hours Events enough! They DJ’d our wedding on August 8, 2025 at the Waterford Room in St. Clements Castle (Portland, CT), and they made it truly unforgettable.
