Incredible Officiant, DJ, and the Best Photo Booth Ever!

My husband and I got married at The Simsbury Inn on 11/7/25. We used After Hours Events of New England for our officiating, photo booth, and DJ services and we truly couldn’t be happier. Working with Sal, Vanessa, and the entire team was incredibly easy from start to finish. I’ll admit I was a little unsure at first about having the same person serve as both our officiant and DJ, but Sal absolutely knocked it out of the park. He delivered a beautiful ceremony and then kept the energy high all night long. Several guests even came up to me throughout the evening asking where we found him because they loved him so much! I had been nervous about the dance floor being empty, but thanks to Sal, it stayed full the entire night. It was also such a relief that Sal was already familiar with The Simsbury Inn and had worked with our photographer before It made everything run that much more smoothly! One of my absolute favorite parts of the night was the photo booth. It was so much fun taking pictures with everyone and using all the props. At the end of the night, Sal surprised us with a keepsake book filled with collages of all the photo booth pictures, along with little messages from our guests. He also included copies of the photo strips and a USB with all the images plus a recording of our ceremony. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gift! If anyone is planning a wedding, I highly recommend getting a photo booth because the memories are priceless. I would also 100% recommend After Hours Events of New England to anyone. They offer so many services, are incredibly easy to work with, and truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable.

Amazing DJ for our Wedding !

Sal from After Hours Events of New England was beyond amazing ! He made planning our special day very easy, he helped us get everything organized and stay stress free the entire time. Even the Day of the wedding, he was coordinating speeches and timing perfectly. He gave great recommendations on music and song choices and we danced for way longer than expected, it was a blast. He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night and we never slowed down once ! After the wedding everyone was saying how great the dancing was, Thank you Sal and Team, 10/10 !!

Absolutely Amazing!

We honestly can’t say enough amazing things about DJ Sal and his wife Vanessa! From the very beginning, Sal was there to help us plan out the timeline and make sure everything went smoothly. He was so easy to talk to, super organized, and made us feel completely at ease leading up to the big day.
On the day of the wedding, Sal and Vanessa were absolutely incredible! Sal brought so much energy and excitement, from hyping up the crowd before the ceremony to keeping the dance floor packed all night long. Sal really knew how to read the room and play the perfect songs to keep everyone dancing all night long and having the best time. Vanessa was such a huge help throughout the day too, making sure everything ran perfectly and that we were enjoying every moment.
Our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was and how much fun they had! Sal and Vanessa truly went above and beyond for us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to be part of our wedding day. We’re so grateful for them and would recommend them a thousand times over! ❤️

Dj Mike Moscato!

We used DJ Mike Moscato through after hour events, and the night could not have been more perfect! Mike was very communicative throughout the entire process and listened to all of our requests! We asked for a mix of multiple genres of music and he created the perfect playlist for us. All of the ceremony and processional / recessional music was perfect and played at the right time. We had the best night ever thanks to Mike!

An Unforgettable Experience!

We cannot recommend After Hours Events enough! They DJ’d our wedding on August 8, 2025 at the Waterford Room in St. Clements Castle (Portland, CT), and they made it truly unforgettable.

From start to finish, Sal (our DJ) and Vanessa (who assisted throughout the day) went above and beyond. Sal wasn’t just our DJ—he was practically a wedding planner. He guided us through every step, helped us with things we never would have even thought about, and kept the entire day running smoothly. Vanessa was such a huge help behind the scenes, making sure everything flowed perfectly.

When it came time to celebrate, Sal had everyone on the dance floor all night long. The energy was electric, the transitions seamless, and the music fit our guests perfectly. We received countless compliments from friends and family about how much fun they had dancing, and it was all thanks to Sal’s incredible talent and professionalism.

Incredible DJ experience

Sal was incredible throughout the entire wedding planning process. He took the time to talk through the whole reception in detail and addressed all our concerns before we even booked his services. Communication was easy and reliable. On the wedding night, Sal and Vanessa really brought the energy and organization. My husband and I didn't need to think of a thing! He made sure we were in the right place at the right time. When it was time to party, he kept the energy high. There was no point in the night where the dance floor wasn't packed with guests. All of our guests, which ranged in age significantly, conveyed major compliments to the music choices and energy Sal and Vanessa brought. I would highly recommend!! Best day ever!

Sal and his wife Vanessa exceeded all expectations as DJ/MC for our wedding, we couldn't have asked for a better team! They were incredibly kind and easy to communicate with, we had multiple meetings and a very detailed questionnaire that Sal shared with our venue and photographer to make everything run very smoothly, and kept everyone on the same page. Our wedding day was perfect, we have gotten so many compliments from our guests, we owe it all to Sal and Vanessa! We had guests that don't dance that were up on the dance floor all night (including myself), and they really knew how get the party started and keep it going! Sal even gave us a priceless surprise gift at the end of the night that captured all of the important moments from the day, and we are eternally grateful! Highly Recommend DJ!

Wow, where do we begin? Sal was absolutely incredible at our wedding, along with Marissa. From the very first conversation, he took the time to understand our music preferences and the vibe we wanted for our big day, along with giving us wedding planning advice throughout the process. The playlist was perfect—a seamless mix of songs that kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. He really listened to our requests and was flexible when we wanted to adjust our requested songs ahead of the big day.
The sound quality was amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. Sal was so professional, punctual, and a joy to work with. He worked with the venue and other vendors to ensure a smooth day. We felt confident the whole time that our reception was in great hands.
They also took pictures and video throughout the night and surprised us with it at the end of the night, which was so thoughtful and generous.
If you want a DJ who knows how to bring the party and make your wedding unforgettable, Sal is the one! We can’t recommend him and Marissa enough!

We absolutely loved our DJ - Chris Garcia! He set up multiple calls throughout the process to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted and to make sure everything ran smoothly! Having never planned a wedding before, we appreciated the questions Chris asked that we hadn't given thought to and made our day that much better. While we gave a handful of "must play" songs, we said our main goal was to play songs everyone would recognize and want to stay on the dance floor for and WOW did he deliver. Working with After Hours was the best choice ever. They were a one stop shop for everything we needed for vendors. Mike was so kind and professional throughout the process. He communicated everything to us in a timely fashion and made sure that everything we wanted for our wedding day DJ was executed to perfection. The music never stopped flowing and the dance floor photos truly showed that. He got people out of their seats and onto the floor dancing in no time. Cathy was truly amazing. She took what we wanted for our ceremony and made it happen. During the reception I didnt realize cathy was taking photos and was pleasantly surprised when they emailed them over it created these adorable candid photos of the night!

Our first consultation call with Sal was early on in our wedding planning, and as soon as we ended our meeting with him, we knew we wanted to work with him. Sal was always extremely responsive, and offered so much guidance leading up to our big day. Sal and Vanessa provided music for our reception and ceremony and worked to coordinate with our officiant and venue staff to keep to a schedule, line up our bridal party, and check in on us. They went above and beyond to provide us with photos and videos of our dances and ceremony by the end of the evening - a totally unexpected surprise! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about our reception and loved their energy and enthusiasm. 7.27 wedding success

Sal was absolutely everything we needed from the moment we began meeting with him virtually, until the very last song (Mr. Brightside) was played at the reception.

Not only was he respectful of what we wanted out of our wedding ceremony/reception, he was helpful with suggestions and past experiences when we needed them. Sal was honest, energetic and did everything he could to ensure our wedding was a success… AND IT WAS. He quarterbacked the ceremony with zero issues, and followed suit during the reception with the wedding party announcements and introductions

The music had everyone on the dance floor from small children, to the bride and grooms parents, and we cannot thank him and his wife Vanessa for everything they did during the day.

To end the night before leaving, Sal made sure to take a quick second with us both to say how great of a night it was and even surprised us with a slap bracelet that contained a usb that had videos of the ceremony, speeches and our first dance. This truly blew us away and we will cherish those videos forever

Highly Recommend!

We hired Mike and Cathy as our DJ and officiant for our wedding in June 2024 and they were amazing!! They were extremely responsive to our questions throughout the planning process, professional, organized and fun!! We had so many guests tell us that the music selection was the best that they've ever heard at a wedding, and that they couldn't even take a bathroom break because every song that came on they wanted to stay on the dance floor for! The online planning form was streamline, detailed, and easy to fill out. Based on our requested song selections, Mike was able to choose music to fill the night that perfectly matched our vibe. He played my dinner song requests when he saw me sitting and eating so that I could enjoy them! His fun, enthusiastic energy was exactly what we wanted. It truly was the best night of our lives. Cathy takes candid photos and videos throughout the reception and gives them to you in a flash drive at the end of the night, which truly was the cherry on top. We found their services to be very reasonably priced compared to others, and we really felt like they cared about us as individuals and not just as another customer. Thank you After Hours for the most amazing night!! We are so happy we booked Mike and Cathy for our wedding!

Amazing Wedding DJ!!

We worked with Sal and Marissa Fusco of After Hour Events for our wedding and they were AMAZING. Sal was our primary contact and could not have been more professional. He went through the timing of the cocktail hour and reception, helped us with song choices when we were stuck and accommodated every thing we asked, including a last minute birthday tribute to my uncle. He gave us a timeline of when we would all check in leading up to the wedding and was always available for questions at any point.

We had a small wedding and he was wonderful at getting people up on the dance floor and providing the right music for when guests were a bit more mellow. His play list was wonderful and all of our guests kept complimenting us throughout the night on his song choices.

The best part was at the end, Sal and Marissa provided us with a video of the toasts and groom-MoG and bride-FoB dances . . . we didn't have a videographer and this was PRICELESS.

I enthusiastically recommend Sal, Marissa and AHE for your events!

best day of my life thanks to after hours

I just wanted to extend my deepest thank you for the services After Hours provided at my and Iris’s wedding this past Sunday at The Woodwinds. I already texted Carlos, but he is one of the most skilled DJs I have seen. And his cousin Natasha’s MC’ing was truly what made our wedding have the upbeat energy like I have never seen at a wedding before. Even the wedding Coordinator at Woodwinds, Sergio, said he has not seen a wedding with so much uplifting and fun energy in a long time. And that couldn’t have happened without Carlos and Natasha’s expertise and skilled craft. And the Photo Booth services were phenomenal, people could not stop lining up to take pictures in there, and the scrapbook of Photo Booth pics they provided me at the end was stunning. We can't say enough great things about our DJ, Mike Moscato. As someone who firmly believes that the music can make or break a wedding, the DJ for mine was hands down the most important consideration when it came to vendors. I was extremely picky about the music I wanted and didn't want and the best way I can put it is that Mike understood the assignment!! He knocked it out of the park - we got dozens of compliments about how great the music was. After Hours of NE's pricing was more than reasonable as we felt we got more than what we paid for. He communicated with us throughout the process, and it was clear he was committed to making our day perfect. At the end, Mike's assistant Catherine even gave me a bracelet/thumb drive with a bunch of photos she took of our day - it was such a nice gesture and was just another example of how he exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful and highly recommend him.

Sal from After Hours gave us the wedding of our dreams!

We hired Sal from after hours for our wedding in September of 2024. He exceeded our expectations not only on our wedding day but leading up to it. He is very organized and had clear and quick communication through the whole process on multiple occasions. He even made his own schedule for the day and touched based with my other vendors so everyone is on the same page! I really cannot say anything negative about our experience. He really listened to our suggestions and tailored our playlist to what we want. The day of ran so smoothly and I had a weight lifted of my shoulders knowing how organized he is. I have gotten more complements on my DJ than any other vendor I had that day! He kept the dance floor full and really read the room on what people are enjoying. My guests are still talking about him almost 6 months out! I defiantly would recommend Sal from After Hours!

Definitely Hire DJ Mike!

I cannot recommend DJ Mike from After Hours enough! From start to finish, he was an absolute delight to work with and truly made our wedding unforgettable.

Mike's ability to keep everyone on the dance floor was simply phenomenal. He expertly mixed music, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. The energy he brought to the reception was infectious, and he had guests of all ages dancing the night away.

Not only did DJ Mike keep the party going, but he also played a crucial role in keeping our wedding schedule on track. His professionalism and attention to detail meant that transitions between speeches, dinner, and dancing were seamless. We never had to worry about a single thing, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the celebration.

We recently had the pleasure of partnering with After Hours for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the incredible experience they provided. They truly went above and beyond to make our special day unforgettable.

Mike and Cathy exceeded all expectations and handled everything from officiating the ceremony to emceeing the reception and keeping our guests on the dance floor all night! And a big thank you to Diedre who not only ran the photo booth (which was a big hit) but also helped craft personalized photo prints that served as mementos for all of our guests.

The team’s professionalism and attention to detail were apparent from the very beginning and helped ensure a stress-free planning process for us.

Sal and Vanessa were a huge part of making our wedding day such a success. Everyone danced!

AfterHours (Mike) was very easy to work with. He was flexible, responsive and personable. He was very receptive to using "our" music which was definitely not typical reception/wedding. Everyone danced and didn't want it to end. We even got a flash drive with photos from the day!

Could recommend After Hours more!

We were so happy with After Hours for our wedding! Chris was our DJ and was absolutely amazing. He was so communicative throughout the entire planning process and was quick to answer any questions we had. As for the wedding itself, the dance floor was packed ALL night. I received so many compliments on the music and the overall energy that Chris brought to our wedding. We talked to him about how important it was to us that our wedding was high energy and just an over-all party and Chris delivered 110%. I couldn’t recommend After Hours more!

Amazing Experience with Sal & Vanessa!

Sal and Vanessa went above and BEYOND in the planning process leading up to the wedding and n the day itself. During planning sessions Sal was professional yet approachable and very encouraging, asking us questions about things that we never would have even taken into account as we planned. He was instrumental in ensuring that our special day ran smoothly, from him getting guests amped up before we walked down the aisle to emceeing and recording our ceremony and reception. Not only did Sal and Vanessa absolutely kill it as DJs but they helped everything run so smoothly that we did not need a day-of coordinator. They provided an amazing experience for a really great price. I cannot recommend them enough!

Best Choice Ever

DJ Sal Fusco and his wife Vanessa were the perfect addition to my wedding. Sal and his wife did not do music for our ceremony, but still heavily participated in ensuring the crowd was ready for our big day, as well as each person in our wedding party. Not only did he ensure our ceremony went so smoothly, but he was the man behind the mic, fading people in and out to make each moment perfect. Not to mention the hype up for our entrances, even the parents had a blast. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and our guests were begging for it to not be over. He is truly a professional and it is clear to anyone who works with him. At the end of the night, his wife and he surprised me with photos and videos of the entire night. He captured our entire ceremony, our speeches, our dances, and a ton of other magical moments. When he told my fiancé and I, it brought me to tears. I couldn’t recommend a better DJ, or person really, to help make your day absolutely perfect.

Thank you After Hours!

Our wedding venue, the Riverview, recommended After Hours Events of New England. Mike was terrific! He was extremely responsive when we had questions! The questionnaire that he provided was quite thorough and inquired about every aspect of the day- from the ceremony and cocktail hour to our music preferences. Mike took the time to meet with us to ask and answer our questions. During our wedding, he kept the party going with lively music that got everyone on the dance floor! The event flowed nicely under his guidance and the guests felt very much at ease. In addition to being our DJ, After Hours also provided their officiant services. They made everything so easy! After Hours even gifted us with a USB filled with additional pictures that were taken throughout the entire event. Would definitely recommend After Hours!

Chris Garcia and our fantastic experience with After Hours!

We booked After Hours for our wedding in October based on a recommendation from my brother who also worked with them for his wedding. Chris Garcia and his team were wonderful!!! Chris was super nice when talking to him prior to the wedding and was very flexible when we needed to make a few changes to the song line-up. The day of the wedding was everything we could have asked for and more! Chris played great music which had lots of our guests up and dancing on the dance floor! I was especially pleased when Chris sent us home with a flashdrive with videos of our first dance, wedding party speeches, and a playlist of the special songs we requested to have played. Chris Garcia and After Hours Events of New England were awesome and I cannot recommend them enough.

We loved working with Mike & After Hours Events!

Mike was the DJ for our wedding back in October and was an absolute dream to work with! From the very beginning of reaching out he was responsive and helpful. My husband and I have very different music preferences and Mike was able to provide a perfect blend of everything we asked for and was also very accommodating with a few last-minute changes we ended up having. Mike and his team filmed our first dance and parent dances which was a big bonus for us. We decided to not hire a videographer so it was incredible to still have someone capture such a special moment. We also hired After Hours to provide a photobooth and our guests (as well as our venue) really loved both services. Mike and his team were so incredibly organized, which helped us so much in the final days before our wedding. I could not recommend Mike and After Hours Events enough!!

After hours events DJ/Photo Booth

We had Mike Moscato as our DJ and we cannot say enough nice things about him! He announced everything perfectly, understood our requests and made everyone have the best night ever and kept the dance floor full at all times! His assistant helped with our glow items without us even asking! They made this the most stress free and enjoyable experience we could have ever asked for!! Guests at the wedding were taking Mike’s card for their future weddings! We had Sheryl in the Photo Booth as well and her and her partner were so kind to our guests and guided them through the Photo Booth process! The end resulted in a gorgeous Photo Booth scrap book!! I highly highly recommend this group!

Fantastic!

After Hours Events of New England exceeded our expectations. The DJ services were amazing! Sal met with us multiple times to discuss in detail what we were looking for. The whole team is so dedicated and thorough, and consistently went above and beyond to make our celebration truly unforgettable! Everyone at our wedding loved the music and danced all night! The photo booth was a huge hit as well. The photo booth team was fantastic, the props are awesome, and the photo booth prints were completely customizable. We also had uplighting from After Hours Events and it truly transformed the reception space. We absolutely recommend After Hours Events for anyone in search of top-notch dj services, a lively photo booth experience, and beautiful uplighting for their wedding or events.

The Vendor That Made The Day Easier

This team could not have made this experience any easier. Sal is a true professional and helped us get ready for our day in every sense of the phrase. He had our day planned out and charted and contacted all of our vendors to make sure our day was as easy as possible. The music selections was perfect and tailored to our day. Can't beat JR & After Hours

We booked JR for our wedding after I'd seen him officiate and DJ another wedding and I am SO glad I did! We met a few times throughout the planning process and he was always extremely thorough and organized. One thing I most appreciated about JR and RD, apart from their actual DJing skills which kept the night moving and the dance floor full the whole time, was how well he collaborated with our other wedding professionals (the photographer and the wedding coordinator at our venue) to make sure everything went smoothly and everyone was on the same page.

JR was able to create a mashup of two songs we wanted for our first dance, rolled with our individual punches like a bouquet dedication instead of a bouquet toss and getting everyone organized for our send-off. It was also great that at the end of the night, he presented us with a flash drive that had some candid shots and recordings of our ceremony, speeches and other important moments.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about JR and After Hours Entertainment. I'd use them again in a heartbeat!

It can be difficult to decide who should emcee your wedding, we were fortunate enough to have had some experience with After Hours Events at another wedding. Sal had done my sisters wedding and after seeing how organized & professional he and his team were, I knew we had to have him for our wedding. Sal made the entire experience stress free and enjoyable. The meetings we had to discuss plans always left us feeling satisfied, knowing that things were being handled properly. Sal is very knowledgeable and was able to help guide us the entire way, from planning before the wedding until the very end of the night, he was always there for us. Sal and Vanessa are the best!

Sal and Vanessa were amazing! Super professional and great at what they do. They did a great job of making sure our wedding day went perfectly without us having to worry about anything. All our other vendors were excited to work with them (our wedding coordinator even said she used them for her own wedding!). Amazing DJ! Would absolutely recommend!

We knew from the first meeting we had with Mike from After Hours Events that he was the right DJ for our wedding. He brings such great energy, professionalism, fun, and years of industry experience to the table. His forms for filling out ceremony details and song selection are easy to use and he is available to help and answer questions every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, Dave arrived promptly and connected with our wedding coordinator and other vendors to make sure everything was perfect. His equipment is state of the art and he kept the crowd dancing the whole night. If you are looking for a wedding DJ, I cannot recommend Mike enough. The packages offered are reasonably priced and his extensive selection of music and perfectly curated playlists are sure to keep your guests entertained!

October Wedding

DJ Sal and his wife Vanessa were incredible to work with. They didn't play the music too loud, so you can actually have a conversation. He sent us a form to fill out which covered our choice of music for everything throughout the evening. He made a day of schedule and sent it to the vendors so everyone was on the same page. He was very quick to respond to my emails and handled all my last minute changes with a smile. He really thought of it all. I want to throw a party just so we can party with Sal and Vanessa again. Great DJ and Photo Booth

We hired After Hours Events for our wedding in June, specifically Sal, recommended by our venue The Riverview. Sal came with his wife Vanessa and they were fabulous. We have gotten many compliments about how great the DJ was. He played a mix of old and new songs which I think made the whole crowd happy. He even videoed important events and gave it to us on a wristband which was something totally unexpected but very appreciated. We also hired them to do a photobooth. We had a hard time deciding if this was something we wanted to spend extra money, but I'm glad we did. It was definitely a crowd favorite, people young and old used it and went back multiple times and Diedre, who ran the booth, did an excellent job managing everyone and making us a great scrapbook of all the photos. I'm definitely happy with our choice to hire After Hours, they were great to work with before the wedding, even helping with the wedding day timeline, and they did great day of.

Perfect day

We hired After Hours Events of NE at the recommendation of our Site Coordinator at Wickham Park and we are so happy that we did. Our original DJ ended up having to retire suddenly, so we were immediately paired up with JR. JR took the time to call us and get to know us multiple times throughout the planning process. When opposing family opinions reared their head during the planning process he was more than willing to be the pretend villain to keep our vision on track. JR's incite and guidance through the planning process what super helpful, it gave us a much better idea of how the day would run. When our big day finally came, JR was fantastic, he kept the timeline moving and created a great, fun atmosphere. My family is still raving about him. Best, and most unexpected of all, was that at the end of the night we were gifted videos of our ceremony, speeches, as well as pictures from all throughout the day.

Sal and the after hours of NE team truly saved the day. We had chosen another vendor who cancelled on us at the last minute. AHEofNE was empathetic to our situation, got us under contract in less than an hour and the outcome was fantastic. They have a great team between Sal who handles the office logistics, was a great resource for recommendations on other vendors, and answered all of our questions very quickly. Mike Moscato and his assistant Cathy provided music and microphones for our wedding ceremony and DJ’d our wedding, as well as a great collection of complimentary photos from our wedding and reception. They are fantastic! Mike had an online form that was easy for us to complete - it walked us through our various music and song choices for key moments during our wedding and reception. Thank You Sal!

This review is long overdue—My husband and I need to thank After Hour Events of NE, Sal, and his wife, Vanessa, for their wonderful DJ and lighting services at our wedding. Sal was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. He is extremely organized, which took a lot of stress off of us as we were planning the wedding. His wedding form where we outlined the details of the day and our desired music was super helpful and ensured us that we were in good hands. On the day of the wedding, Sal was great at organizing an unplugged ceremony, where he encouraged guests to live in the moment; he also encouraged guests to clap and cheer on the wedding party as they processed down the aisle (and also for the bride and groom of course). This was exceptionally special—walking down the aisle with our family and friends cheering us on was one of our most special memories of the day. Additionally, Sal was great at wrangling our rowdy wedding party after cocktail hour to get them ready for introductions. Furthermore, the uplighting was absolutely essential to our venue. It really lightened up the space during dinner and set the mood for dancing. We were so happy we added this feature! As for Sal as our DJ, he really knows how to get the dance floor going. Keeps the guests on the dance floor!

Sal and Vanessa were amazing to work with! Sal was so helpful with planning out our day and putting together a timeline for the reception. The whole reception went so smoothly because everything was so well organized. We had DJ, uplighting, and photo booth through After Hours and couldn’t be happier! The photo booth was a hit and we got a great album at the end of the reception that kept us laughing on the way home. The music was AMAZING! We were on the dance floor for most of the night and so were our guests. We are still getting comments about how fun our wedding was! Thank you After Hours for making our wedding a blast!

Best dj ever!

Couldn’t say enough good things about this company!! So wonderful!! Especially our DJ, JR Burrows!! He was FANTASTIC!! Kept the whole day in order and moving efficiently and played amazing music! Best DJ Services Ever

After Hours Events of New England and DJ Sal were absolutely amazing at our wedding. Sal's professionalism, organization, and facilitation of wedding events was amazing. He alleviated all stress on our big day and made sure everything was taken care of. He was so engaging and really got the crowd excited. Amazing Experience!

Best money spent

Sal was the best money we spent! We got married at Wadsworth Mansion and it truly was a stress free and seamless experience thanks to Sal. He answered every question confidently, created our timeline, and spoke with vendors.

He saved us money since there was no need to hire a wedding planner. Our ceremony was beautiful and relaxed; the entire night, Sal played music that fit the vibe of us as a couple and our guests. Our friends are still talking about how fun our wedding was a month later.

We are so thankful for After Hours and Sal. I could not recommend him and his team enough! Thank you for making our day the best day of our lives!

AMAZING! Sal and Vanessa are absolutely wonderful! They were extremely professional, organized and all around fantastic. Get the party started!

We used After Hours Events for both DJ and photobooth services. Our DJ, Mike, was awesome and helped create the "giant party" atmosphere we were hoping for - the dance floor was crowded from cocktail hour until the end. The photobooth was a hit. Dierdre and Sheryl got and kept our guests engaged and made sure everyone was able to get in and have fun. After Hours provided us with all the photobooth prints and candids on a USB and website so we could share all the photos with our guests after as well as an awesome scrapbook with pictures and notes from our guests. I highly recommend them for any event!

The Best Experience

We had the MOST amazing experience with this group! We worked with Mike and Cathy and they beyond exceeded our expectations!! They were extremely responsive and there was no request they couldn’t meet. They made us feel so prepared and they were just as excited to be at our wedding as we were. They played the best mix of songs and had everyone dancing the entire time! Their energy was noted by all of our guests who had nothing but great things to say. Amazing DJ!

DJ Chris from After Hours was absolutely amazing! We had such a blast at our wedding with After Hours DJing/MCing!! Chris met with us regularly up to the day of the event and was so attentive to what we wanted and helped with what we didn't know we wanted! Our guest were so complimentary of the whole event and of how well everything flowed. Aside from providing an incredible service, After Hours was so understanding when we had to adjust our plans in the middle of the winter COVID spike and shift dates, which made a hugely stressful situation manageable. We truly ended up with an event that we couldn’t have even imagined!

Chris and Carlos from After Hours were incredible! Chris was very helpful in the lead up to our wedding with getting us organized, making suggestions, and reviewing how the day will run. On the wedding day, our DJs were punctual, professionally dressed, announced things appropriately, and kept the day running smoothly. They weren’t all over the mic the whole night as if it were a nightclub (very appreciative of this!), took all our requests and even found specific songs for cultural dances we had asked for. My family raves about the DJs after and were impressed how they were so in tune with the feel of the crowd; they really paid attention to which songs got us on the dance floor! Our wedding was incredible and Chris and Carlos were a huge part of that!

Amazing!

The entire staff at After Hours was amazing from the very beginning. Sal is extremely responsive and helpful, even with postponing our wedding because of COVID 19. We never felt in the dark or not confident in our decision of working with them. Peter (our DJ) was absolutely amazing. He made it clear from the start of our meetings that he wanted to make it our dream day and he succeeded. The music was perfect. There wasn't a moment when the dance floor was empty. Even without giving a list of songs, Peter was able to create the perfect set of music for us and our guests. I cannot recommend this company and Peter enough. You will not regret it!

Awesome DJ!

We used After Hours Events of New England for our DJ and Photo Booth and cannot recommend them enough! Sal helped us every step of the way throughout our planning process and was very accommodating with our changes due to COVID. He took the time to help us with our day-of schedule and coordinated between our other vendors to ensure the day was smooth. When the big day came Sal and Vanessa went above and beyond! Our ceremony microphones were perfect to ensure everyone could hear all speakers. Sal got the party started quickly at the reception and everyone loved his energy! The Photo Booth attendants did a great job helping guests (and ensuring props were sanitized after use) and gave us a lovely scrapbook with all of the photo booth pictures with small notes from our guests! They also made sure my husband and I got in the booth for some silly photos and nice photos too so we didn't miss out. At the end of the night Sal surprised us with a flash drive with photos and videos of our important moments from the day even though we only asked for DJ and Photo Booth services. We didn't get a videographer, so we will cherish the surprise videos of our ceremony, dances, and speeches for years to come! Peter Wedding

Mike Moscato was our DJ for the night and he kept the entire crowd on the dance floor all night! After Hour Events of New England is very attentive and well planned out. Prior to our wedding date we filled out an extensive online questionnaire so that all our our preferences would be know. A couple weeks before the wedding we were able to facetime with Mike and review the form and discuss any concerns. They also handled our up-lighting for the night! At then end of the night Mike handed us a flash drive with extra photos and videos of the night from after our photographer had left and of all of our special dances!

We are so glad we chose After Hours Events of New England to DJ our October 2nd Wedding. Our photographer had recommended their services and we could not be more happier. Amazing! Chris and Carlos were perfect for our wedding!

JR perfected our day!

JR was a top notch officiant, dj, and emcee for our wedding. He truly helped our day run so perfectly smooth by taking control of the timeline and making sure everything ran perfectly. JR from After Hours was an absolute DREAM of a DJ to work with!! Truthfully, he is so much more than a DJ, he was our officiant, emcee, and master experience maker! Danced the night away

When our planning started back in 2018 we had the pleasure of working with Sal for our Aug 2020 wedding. He was wonderful to work with. We live in California (I'm originally from CT). I would say that planning a wedding from cross country was a challenge, but honestly we were so blessed to have the most incredible vendors and venue to work with that made our experience so easy. Sal's experience made this entire process so easy. He was extremely organized and communicative with not only us but all our other vendors as well so they would know what to expect. We loved our experience with After Hours! Sal was very responsive by email, and we immediately connected with our DJ, Peter Devine. The online portal was very user friendly and convenient for us, as we currently live out of state. Peter and his assistant DJ incorporated all of our requested songs, and really had the crowd on the dance floor the entire time. AMAZING! Highly recommend!

From the moment we first talked to Sal, we knew we made the right decision by moving forward with After Hours. Having an online portal to select your songs made things SO EASY!! This was shared with us from the start and made everything fun and simple to plan our special day.

JR was not only our DJ, but he officiated our wedding ceremony. We cannot say enough great things about the professionalism he exhibited from the first meeting we had with him. His personality took any stress away through the planning process. He gave suggestions and also listened to our vision. He delivered on everything we wanted our day to be, and more!

JR graced us with his presence at our rehearsal and made everyone feel comfortable with the wedding day activities. He was organized, efficient, and had everyone laughing and smiling. To sum it up- we were blown away by the professionalism and personality that both JR & RD exhibited. Our family and friends all complimented how great of a time they had, and that is in large part due to them! JR also took the time to prep us for our cake cutting... something we couldn't have done without him!

Lastly, one of our favorite parts was the slap bracelet USB that they gave us at the end of the night. The pictures and videos they took were fantastic, and gave us something to look forward to looking at.
We were in awe of the effort that was put into making our day special and FUN!! Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts for going above and beyond. I HIGHLY recommend After Hours to anyone who wants to work with trusted, caring, fun, and reliable people.

Great experience

We worked with After Hours DJ for our wedding reception. They also provided the audio for our ceremony. They are reasonably priced, extremely responsive and easy to work with. Mike Moscato was our DJ and he was friendly, flexible and kind. They played the music we requested and the online tool while older and a bit clunky to use in preparation for the meeting helped us to organize all of our requests and thoughts and think of things we hadn’t considered. Mike was thorough in reviewing what we wanted and how we wanted the event executed. We also found the cost extremely reasonable and the payment options great! Added bonus was Mike’s friendly assistant took photos of the event for us throughout and we received a copy at the end of the event! Definitely recommend.

Choosing After Hours of New England was the easiest decision ever.

Sal and Vanessa were amazing. If I could give them more stars I would!! From the beginning they were so organized and professional. Sal was just a quick email, phone call and even a text away. He would answer questions within minutes! Planning a wedding is a lot, and After Hours of NE made finding a DJ so easy. My guests were on the dance floor all night.
