Kindred Photography LLC is a wedding photography company based in Barkhamsted, Connecticut, that services weddings both locally and nationally.
We are committed to providing our clients with a blend of artistic and candid moments. Your wedding is unique to your love story, and so are your photographs. The in-between moments, the pure joy found in a burst of laughter—these are the magic moments.
We started Kindred Photography in 2012, shortly after getting married. We first met while attending the University of Hartford Art School, where we both graduated with our BFAs in Photography. We take pride in our artistic and photojournalistic approach to photography and are passionate and thankful to have the opportunity to do what we love for a living. Ben does a fantastic job photographing the weddings, either alone or with an experienced second photographer, and Kim takes care of the editing and behind-the-scenes.
We focus on being in the moment and being a positive and calm addition to your day. We use a mixture of natural light and on/off camera flash, depending on what is needed. We are there to capture your love story and document your day to the best of our ability.
