Yen was the best makeup artist I could have asked for during my wedding! She was super responsive, professional, clear in communication, and did a superior job on my wedding makeup for a competitive price. My makeup lasted well over 12 hours in perfect condition and was exactly the look I wanted. Couldn’t have asked for better service for myself or my bridesmaids!

Transcendent came through for me when I had a late change of plans with my hair vendor. Yen was SO responsive and easy to book and work with. We had Erin for hair and she was amazing! She worked with me during my trial to make my hairstyle vision come true. The day of, she was on time and everyone loved their hair! I highly recommend Transcendent Studio!

You need to hire transcendent for make up!! Yen did a phenomenal job making me look like a Barbie princess. I don’t use a TON of make up and she knew exactly how much to use so I would feel comfortable yet beautiful on my special day! It also stayed in place all night through all the dancing and sweating! Transcendent is the way to go!

Heather did my hair for my wedding and my hair was absolute perfection!! I asked for soft glam waves and she killed it. All my girls who got their hair done also looked so great - she killed the party pony! Heather was also such a sweetheart and my dog absolutely loved her and just hung out with her all day. I could not have had my wedding without Heather, she made me feel like the most special bride. Thank you!

I had Anellyse as my MUA for my wedding day and she was absolutely amazing!!! I am very indecisive and gave her a few ideas with freedom to do what she wanted and she nailed it. My trial I didn’t have to fix anything and she met the assignment for my wedding day! I couldn’t recommend her enough! My mom, MIL and sister all felt beautiful and so happy with their make up!

Mikayla and Sarah have wonderful personalities that made my wedding day truly special. Mikayla did my bridal makeup and did an absolutely beautiful job, she truly made me feel incredible and confident. Highly recommend!

Transcendent did hair for our wedding and they did a beautiful job!! My hair is very fine and long-ish (a few inches past my collarbones) and they helped come up with a style with some nice waves, hair partially up to keep it out of my face, but still enough volume to feel full. I felt awesome all day. Also, my bridesmaids and the moms looked beautiful too! The Transcendent team is so kind and easy to work with - highly recommend.

I first met Stacie when I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding and I instantly fell in love with her work. I am very picky when it comes to make-up, but I loved the way Stacie did my make-up for that wedding. When I got engaged, I knew that I needed to have Stacie and the Transcendent team as part of my day. They did not disappoint! I had a large bridal party with 13 bridesmaids and was initially worried that we would not all be able to be ready in time on the morning of the wedding. However, the Transcendent team was able to accommodate my large bridal party without any issue and met the make-up desires of all of my bridesmaids. Stacie did my personal make-up exactly as I had envisioned and I so thankful for her expertise and talents and to have had her on my special day!

Yen & Meghan were incredible to work with for our wedding! I booked with Transcendent because I know they do great work (did both my sister’s & MOH’s weddings). I had my hair and makeup done by Yen & Meghan at my matron of honors wedding and I knew I had to have them for my wedding! After booking a venue and solidifying a date, Transcendent was the first vendor I booked!

Yen was super responsive to all my questions and was accommodating with any adjustments I needed to make. She was even able to order me a full sized lipstick for the day of my wedding & I know I’ll continue to use it!

When I had my trial it was such a comfortable experience and the end result was perfect! Fast forward to the day of the wedding, both Yen & Meghan arrived early which helped the day run smoothly. All hair and makeup looked beautiful and was done ahead of schedule! Having a few extra minutes really helped to calm my nerves on the big day. Both Yen & Meghan are great to talk to and my entire bridal party and both mothers were so pleased with their work. There is no reason to look elsewhere for hair and makeup because Transcendent is the best in CT!!

I truly am beyond blown away by my entire experience with the Transcendent Makeup & Hair Team! In the beginning of my wedding process I was stressed about finding the right hair and makeup team for my big day. I read every review, spoke to numerous friends and family members, and highly researched all options from all angles. And, I landed right where I was meant to be and couldn’t be happier!

Stacie was my makeup artist, and her level of professionalism was more than I could have ever asked for. She was prompt when responding to my emails, highly organized and the team’s wedding contract was clear and detailed. I did my trial back in October 2021 for a June 2022 wedding, and during my trial, Stacie took my inspiration photos and delivered my look to a whole new level. She gave me the perfect rose gold eye, with just the right amount of a wing and then applied individual eyelashes so my eyes didn’t appear heavy with a huge lash strip weighing them down. She truly catered to my individual eye shape (same with all my bridesmaid) and made me look like the best version of myself on my wedding day!

Also, during the time of my trial, I expressed to Stacie that the “Moms” (Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom) were both unsure and nervous about having their hair and makeup done. As the bride, I thought it was important to have both Moms get pampered on the morning of my wedding. This is as much their day, as it is mine! So we scheduled a trial for the Moms in March and both Stacie and my hair stylist Nicole, made them feel so comfortable and beautiful that they agreed to both servies. I was so happy that they weren’t pushy and salesman like when working with the Moms. They truly made the experience so pleasant for them and my Mom was in tears because for once, she was the one getting pampered. I was so happy that Stacie and the team made my dreams come true and both Moms looked so beautiful!

Now to my hair stylist Nicole! I expressed to Stacie that I wanted a timeless look for my hair. I wanted to look back on my hair 10, 20, 30 years from now and still be in love with it. I decided on 1920’s glamour waves! Hence, the perfect pairing with Nicole! Nicole is a true master when it comes to glamour waves! No joke, she takes master classes all around the country in order to achieve the perfect glamour wave. She is the best in the business! When we did my trial I was in love. She knew exactly what she was doing, how to set my hair, the right products for my type of hair, and she had the proper tools to achieve this look! Even from the time of my trial in October, Nicole would message me with updates on how she was going to evaluate my look even more! Or that she learned a new technique and couldn’t wait to do it on my wedding day! Nicole brings all the right kind of energy!

Overall, Transcendent made my wedding day all to easy! I had big bridal party that consisted of 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and me the bride, with a ceremony start time of 1:00pm. Talk about stressful, but they made it feel easy. They stayed right on schedule, nothing felt rushed, and I had the best morning with all the girls! Please reference the photos below for their amazing work! My hair and makeup stayed ALL DAY AND NIGHT and let me tell you, I DANCED the night away! I highly recommended this team for your big day or if you are in need of hair and makeup services! THEY ARE THE BEST and I am forever grateful for them being apart of my special day!
